The best things about this place are that it's quiet and close to Arrowhead Lake. I would definitely stay here again. It's also nice to have a pool and hot tub all to yourself as they are usually few other guests here. If you're expecting a 4-star hotel experience, this is not the place for you. It's dated, but that keeps it charming (for me, at least). You definitely feel like you've traveled back to the 1980s, and these days, that's a good thing!

The location was perfect. The shower didn't drain very fast, floor of the shower was very slippery. (so much so my mom was unable to shower). Shower water pressure was almost nonexistent.

The bed is really old and makes huge noise that makes for a horrible sleep. Otherwise, the the cottage was good.

Beautiful location, very serene. Property was a little dated but perfect for us since we were only going to sleep there. We wish they would have honored our reservation, I reserved a queen bed with a bunk bed and instead they gave us a queen bed that felt like a full size and one twin bed... my daughter had no bed to sleep on and my husband and I hardly fit in the queen. We switched rooms but they only had 4 twin sized beds as everything else was reserved. The gentlemen at the check in office was very nice but we just wish we could have slept comfortably.

We were looking for a simple, quiet place, and that's what we found. We will definitely considering staying here again.

This is not really a hotel. It's an outdoor education center that rents "cottages" out. These places are very tiny -- no room for a chair. Just a bunch of tiny sheds with no weatherstripping around the doors. The "queen" bed was a double. Very expensive for what it was.

When we got there, the door was locked and a sign said to call the maintenance man and he would check us in....we needed a room with two beds and they gave us a "cabin"....the size of a storage shed....it didn't have anywhere to hang anything....I don't know what I expected for the price....also they charged me for the room and the same amount for the deposit....which is to be credited back to my card....we ended up not spending the night...but placing the key in a box by the front door at 7 p.m., because, again, there was no one in the office....and driving home. A little different way to do business......
