Numeric code for room doors is inconvenient

Just enough space. Only two floors with a lovely rooftop view of the hills with day beds for a relaxing afternoon. Right in the heart of West Hollywood. Everything walkable. Friendly staff available 24 hours a day. Neat feat

Disappointing. The staff was nice enough, but our room was situated directly above the kitchen of the restaurant and all night a ridiculously loud generator, AC or refrigerator unit was blasting away under us and neither of us could sleep. The next morning we asked if we could move rooms, and the gentleman at the desk said he’d check and follow up but no one ever did. That afternoon I asked again, but it was a different person who knew nothing about it, and they said they follow up and never did. I asked once again to a different desk clerk (there never seemed to be the same person there) and that guy said he knew what was causing the noise, apologized and promised he would make sure the machine causing it was switched off at night. He didn’t and it wasn’t for either of the two remaining nights. So we slept terribly, and they never once came in to clean up or replenish anything in the room in the three days we were there. Finally, there’s no overnight street parking in Beverly Hills - none. So the hotel decides to charge their guests $30 per night (plus tips to the valet) just to park. I did a search online and found a garage a 12 minute walk away that cost $10. So they are just ripping off their own guests. We would never stay here again (nor would we ever again stay in Beverly Hills. The people there are so uptight and weird. Just stay in Echo Park or Silverlake or Los Feliz - people are so much nicer there.)

THE HOTEL WAS OK! THE PARKING WAS EXPENSIVE AT $30 A DAY! THEY ELIMINATED FREE BREAKFAST THAT WAS AVAILABLE AT THE BEVERLY TERRACE! AT LEAST HAD COFFEE MACHINE IN ROOM! I WOULD NEVER STAY AT THIS PROPERTY AGAIN BECAUSE MAKING RESERVATION WAS A REAL PAIN IN ASS SINCE HAD TO SEND COPY DRIVER LICENSE AND FACE VIDEO TO GET CODE TO CHECK INTO ROOM AND ROOM NUMBER!!

Staying at the Sonder Beverly Terrace “Hotel” was probably one of the most anxiety ridden and upsetting stays I’ve ever had in a hotel (if we’re even going to call it a hotel.) For starters, parking is NOT included in your stay; parking is $30/night. Also, housekeeping and cleaning of your room is NOT included either (you have to pay a daily rate; which makes me question how Sonder Beverly Terrace claims to be a “hotel.”) When we booked our stay, we requested and received confirmation from Orbitz that we would be staying in a room with two double beds. When we walked up the stairs (yes, there is also no elevator on the property) and entered our room, not only was there no hand soap in the bathroom, but we were given a room with one king bed; which is not what we ordered. I was extremely confused; we were not given any proper notice that our room was being changed. I immediately went down to the front desk (which, by the way, has only one person running it) to explain my concern and try to get this issue resolved, and they told me to call a service/corporate number for Sonder, the parent company, to speak with them about my issue. I then asked if there’s a manager on the premise who I can speak with, and they told me no. Fast forward 1-1.5 hours later after speaking with three representatives, we were finally given an additional room at no additional charge. Overall, I would never recommend Sonder Beverly Terrace to anyone.

I was pleasantly surprised at what a wonderful experience this was. I had driven past this hotel many times and the exterior is rather unassuming. The interior is a totally different story. BT has a very simple, chic European vibe to it. My room was not massive, but as a solo traveler or for a couple, it was perfect. Another huge pro was the affordable, friendly & easy valet parking. It's a small place, so there are no endless waits or over the top fees. The front desk/valet were so pleasant to interact with. The location is at the gateway between Beverly Hills & West Hollywood. If you don't have a car, the best of LA is in easy walking distance no matter which way you turn. There are a few options in the area around the same price point, but their free breakfast beat them all out for me. This was the most gorgeous complimentary breakfast I have ever seen. There are waffles, bagels, yogurt/granola parfaits, coffee, teas, juice. The courtyard and restaurant where they serve the breakfast is equally enchanting. I was really blown away. There is no elevator and some of the rooms face busy streets. These were not cons for me. If you want super quiet, it's probably smart to inquire about interior/courtyard rooms or ask about room location. Great stay and I would highly recommend!

Small rooms and extremely noisy. You can hear every street noise and valet services talking etc. There was some sort of hammering early in the morning coming from the hallway.

Very clean and well put together. Street noise was a bit loud. Very pleasant staff

This hotel is not a four star boutique...it is barely a 3 star. First the best things about it...decent bed and great linens and towels; good alarm clock and phone charger; flat screen tv; daytime staff; continental breakfast. Bad experience-the rooms are small and unimproved with hollow doors to the hallway so you hear every other person and suitcase moving in the hall; shower just dribbled water and it ran hot and cold based on other users at the same time. The air conditioner is old and hard to control but necessary because the rooms are so near that if you open a window you are less than a couple of feet from other rooms and the patio noise below. Location is good for visiting Cedars Sinai Hospital and near major traffic arteries. Morning staff were very courteous and helpful.

Great hotel in the middle of Beverly Hills, great beds, decor and overall vibe

the location is good for hangout at West Hollywood. I enjoyed the breakfast of Hotel Beverly Terrace, but there are many fantastic brunch restaurant near the hotel. Overall recommendable,

Hotel room was small, smelled bad, and rooms didn’t look like how they are in the pictures

Great location, very comfortable room, bath was a bit small but very functional. The complementary glass of Prosecco in the bar is a very nice touch. I'd definitely stay here again.

No soap for the bathroom sink, AC doesn’t work well

Staff was amazing from our dining experience at the hotel restaurant to when we first walked in we were upgraded to a suite for my boyfriends birthday. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
