We spent 4 nights in this dog-friendly hotel. It was a pleasure from the moment we walked in the door. All the staff were genuinely friendly and they assisted us whenever we needed help. I noticed that they were particularly helpful to another guest, an elderly gentleman, without being gushing or patronising. The location is quiet and the views from our balcony were splendid. The breakfasts were delicious and OMG the dessert I enjoyed on our last evening - heavenly (I still dream about it).
We were only here for one night but had a great stay, room was comfortable with an amazing view of the valley and mountains. The food in the restaurant was way over our expectations and can definitely recommend staying here!!
Our stay Aug 2017 Nice room. Very clean. The view was lovely from our balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice with lots of choice, and loved the coffee machine. The evening meal was very good.
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The best part of it is their staff. They are so helpful and cooperative and make you feel at home at their hotel. They were eager to help us with every question and issues we had. The view of the Alpes from our room was amazing. The variety of breakfast was not that much, comparing to most hotels we've stayed at, but what they offered was of great quality. House keeping did a good job and provided the usual amenities, daily. There are maybe 2 minor points that can be improved. The WIFI access was a hassle. On a website you have to leave your phone number and you are supposed to get an access code via SMS. But the system didn't work on our phone numbers, although the reception never hesitated to help us with that, but a simpler method will definitely help customer's satisfaction. Second point is that the sheets sometimes didn't smell fresh, the smell of damp was noticeable sometimes although the sheets were clean. Altogether we had a very good stay at Hotel Le Mont-Paisible and would definitely consider going back if we plan a vacation in that area.
Everything about this hotel is wonderful, location, view from rooms, parking, courteous and helpful staff, cozy beds. All they need to do is just look into the breakfast a bit more and increase the verity in true sence and make sure food refills are faster and should be anticipated in advance. Guests should not be waiting too long.
Two of my girlfriends and I stayed here for three nights at the end of March (end of season). We shared a triple room, which had three single beds in one room. It was a cozy room with an amazzzzing view from the patio. The beds were comfy and wifi worked well. They also had laundry services which I was thankful for! The breakfast was a solid continental buffet. The staff were so helpful and kind. They made reservations for us with an instructor for skiing and ski equipment, as well as had great spa and food recommendations. We had a car and drove into town, and also made a trip down the mountain to enjoy some great local wineries! There was a bus to take you into town, but the last ride back was earlier than we wanted to come back. There was also a ski lift within walking distance, which we took the lifts up to a restaurant for lunch, for more amazing views! At night, it is a very quiet area (no bars in walking distance) so we took advantage of the board games in the hotel.
Where do I start...I arrived at Hotel Le Mont-Paisible on the Thursday and spent 2 nights there, This hotel is perfect - quaint, cosy, warm, comfortable.. The views from this hotel is spectacular. I had a mountain facing room and OMW...to wake up to a window view of the mountains every morning was breathtaking.. The hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance of the bus stops, restaurants, shops and cable cars... The views from the dining hall's are something out of a movie.. The staff were very friendly and willing to help and offer good tips... The hotel picked us up from Mont Gare stop when we arrived and were kind enough to drop us back there when we left, I pretty much walked everywhere enjoying the spectacular mountain views.. I took a cable car up to Grand Signal which was free and enjoyed a bit of snow..then took another cable seat up to Cy'der which costs 30CHF..that was def worth it.. The breakfast was good. Rooms were cosy, clean and very comfortable... I loved my stay there and left my heart there...long to go back...
We stayed here for 2 nights in a prestige room with half board. Views are stunning and you can even just sit in bed and admire it as there is a large picture window. It was too cold to fully enjoy the balcony. The food was really delicious! There was no choice on the half board menu but we were both very happy with the dinners - the chicken curry was so tasty as was the sea bass with little roast veg. We probably would have chosen these dishes anyway. Breakfast was good with hot and cold selection. All the staff were really friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel is quiet at night and it is only a short walk to the gondola (although uphill!). I would definitely stay here again.
We stayed two nights in December in this hotel with our two little kids. Our room was spacious and clean and the view from our balcony was spectacular. The breakfast was delicious. I recommend this lovely hotel to anyone.
The hotel has very good location if you drive there by car. The view from our rooms is fantastic. The restaurant and hotel itself is amazingly constructed and decorated for holiday seasons when we were there.
