The room is huge, more like a mini suite, and clean and comfortable — though the bed is very firm. The on-site restaurant is excellent, and we enjoyed a superb steak dinner. All of the staff was friendly and helpful.
The hotel is quiet and comfortable and the proprietor and staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a 10-minute walk from the station, with the option for a lift. Breakfast was great. The restaurant is pricey for dinner, if not included in the board.
