We had a great experience. The hotel was very clean with daily room cleaning and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was good to be near the downtown in the off season because we could walk to stores and were near food establishments. The ferry is also down the street, maybe 5 minutes walking. We will go there again.

Stayed for 6 days 7 nights. nice rooms, no beach but a couple pools. it was off season so i didn't swim anyways. this is located in Hamilton which is basically "downtown" for the island. tons of shops and restaurants right there. as well as the bus terminal hub and ferry hub are located there.

Staff very effecient and professional. Place immaculate. Bermuda is beautiful and so was the hotel. The shower had a hand sprayer and an overhead sprayer. It was exilerating. The doorman ran to get the door so that you did not have to lift a finger. Food is excellent and I could keep on my diet with delicious meals. It was expensive but very worth it.

Very nice hotel in Hamilton, close to downtown. Walking distance to shopping, dining and other activities

The hotel was very nice, however, everything you purchase is exorbitant - food, shops, etc. Nothing really to do there especially this time of year. I will never go back there again.

I can’t think of any bad review about this hotel. Walking distance to restaurants bars shops. Two great pools, food is fantastic, rooms are very clean, staff super helpful and friendly, great views of harbor. Shuttle to and from private beach. I do wish they had the bar/grill open in the off season at the private beach but I can understand why they choose not to. Private beach was so wonderful complete with beach chairs, towels, very clean bathrooms, kayaks, paddle boards, and a restaurant nearby. We had a great stay.

This hotel will not disappoint. The hotel, the grounds and the private beach club were all beautiful. All of the staff were very friendly, genuine and helpful. It is located within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants on Front Street.

Stayed 3 nights. Service was great - in the hotel bar and by the pool. From Concierge, front desk to doormen. All very very friendly and helpful. Infinity pool is fabulous (we did spy a few missing pool tiles) but who cares w such a beautiful view and a waiter bringing cocktails!! :) We a king room w not much a view (though we didn't care we only slept there). The bed was comfortable. Couple negatives were super small bathroom w a barn style door that doesn't close all the way. Doesn't off much for privacy. And mornings can be a bit loud. The room doors slam very loudly. We are in the crown anchor hotel bar. Food was good. Good drinks. As w most places, the breakfast buffet I think is way overpriced at over $30/pp. def not worth it in my opinion. But it was packed the one morning we did it so i may be in the minorty. Our one big negative regarding meals... we asked concierge if we needed a reservation for dinner at the new hotel restaurant, Marcus, and told no we'd be fine to walk in. We did that and was by an EXTREMELY rude hostess that there is absolutely no way they were booked w reservations etc. We asked another guest in our party to speak to her and was completely nasty and condescending. Against our better judgement we decided to eat at the bar. Only to see 3 tables behind us remain open the entire time we are and only one be seated as we were getting up to leave. That was the only black mark on the stay. The hotel is in an awesome location to get to town.

Staff, very pleasant, go out of their way to assist you. Very attentive.

The infinity pool is absolutely gorgeous! I highly recommend (therefore forwarn travelers) you add more staff to your pool service. One day, I sat at the pool for an hour and a half and the waiter came to me twice: once to take my order (after I waited over 30 min), then about 15 min later to give me my bill (I'm assuming they don't run a tab...at least, I wasn't given that option). The pool area is small-ish, but I don't feel that there is enough staff to provide fast service. Aside from that, I loved this resort!

short ride to the beach - best part about the hotel IS the beach -- heavenly

Hotel was very nice. After learning there was no onsite beach... we were very pleased with the arrangements to get to the offsite private beach ... which was very nice and had everything. 2 onsite pools were nice ... main pool was often too crowded. Adult pool was nice but needed more chairs. Restaurants were very nice including breakfast arrangements. Great location in the town relative to ferry and other restaurants in area.

The hotel was great! Our room was clean and all of the facilities look led well kept. The infinity pool was our favorite spot to hang out, we just wish the water was a little cooler. It was missing a few tiles, which was a little sad looking, but it was otherwise perfect. The spa had an odd smell. It wasn't a dirty smell, just whatever lotions or oils they were using, that my husband and I found off putting. My only real complaint is the noise. If you aren't a morning person, this isn't the resort for you. The doors to the rooms are heavy and loud, so it sounds like people are constantly slamming them shut. Some type of weatherstripping might help absorb some of the sound. The housekeeping staff is also super chatty in the halls, so unless you can sleep through slamming doors and people talking right outside your door, you might want to look elsewhere.

Great location by Hamilton city. Scenic view of bay. Amazing private beach. Nice infinity pool. Excellent restaurants Great service. Felt similar to my experiences to the Ritz on other islands.

One of the best Hotels in Hamilton. The new Marcus restaurant located in the hotel is excellent. Great location. Great pool and amazing private beach club which you can get to via hotel shuttle. Only downside is the insanely high prices at the spa $180 for a massage :/. Make sure you stay in one of the renovated rooms they are much nices.

Great hotel; beautiful and with attentive professional staff.

We arrived at the Hamilton Princess, excited about the beautiful renovated rooms, infinity pool, and beautiful beach. The infinity pool is gorgeous -- it is a saltwater pool, but the salinity level was very low and it was so warm, so it was very comfortable to swim in. The pool was the best part. Everything else disappointed us. When we arrived we were placed initially in an unrenovated room, which was not what we had booked. After complaining they moved us to a renovated room. The room was fairly small, bathroom was tiny without a tub (only a standup shower), and the door to the bathroom was sliding from the ceiling with an at-least 1/2 inch gap between it and the wall. So any sounds from the bathroom can easily be heard outside -- very poor planning. Furniture was already chipped, despite being new. Hallways outside the room were narrow and had no artwork. Overall, not very pleasant, and certainly not worth the cost. Was the quality of a room you would expect in a 3-star hotel at best. The manager, however, was very receptive and moved us to a suite, which was large, lovely, and had a full bathroom. The beach is FAR away, a 25 minute ride from the hotel. They have free shuttles, but they only run once an hour during the weekend, and during the week only every 2-3 hours. Not convenient at all. We didn't even go. The restaurant Marcus was overpriced and also not worth the money. The hotel is close to Hamilton but it is a 10 minute walk. A shuttle would have been nice.

This was a great experience…my room was newly renovated and beautiful, the hotel amenities were lovely. My only complaint was the beach club. It was not as nice as the photos look online. Everything else to do with the hotel itself was so nice that I would still go back there anyway.

My husband and I celebrated our 26th anniversary with a stay at the Hamilton Princess Aug 28 2015 - Sept 6, 2015. Our room faced a narrow part of the harbour which was quaint in the evening with a nice breeze on our somewhat tiny balcony which was just big enough for two chairs. We found the bed a bit firm for our liking but other than that the room amenities were quite sufficient for our stay. We spent quite a bit of time in the hot tub just off the gorgeous infiniti pool facing the harbour. The hotel is centrally located a short walk from everything .... shopping, bus terminal, ferry station. We bought 7-day bus passes which got us around Bermuda by both bus and ferry. The staff at the hotel were very attentive with a kind greeting every time. A special shout-out to Trevor at the infiniti pool who had a warm smile and good conversation for us when we saw him. Kudos to Cathy at the front desk who made our anniversary very special!

Amazing layout. Stunning views. Recently re-modeled infinity pool, overlooking the gorgeous Hamilton Harbor. Multiple dining options. Friendliest folks. Donna (Concierge) and Carvel (Singing Doorman) were a few favorites, but there were many others.
