Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Awesome location next to Hakescher Markt train stop and Museum island. Nice and peaceful at night. The room was gorgeous. We got upgraded to the corner suite, which had a really cool balcony with seating and nice street views. Only issue was the shower wasn’t draining properly when we first arrived, but we notified the front desk and they had it resolved while we were out that day. Great place to stay.

This is a very nice hotel in a really excellent location. Very convenient to sights such as the Museumsinsel. There a many good restaurants and cafes in the area. Even as a Vegan I had several truly excellent options within a short walking distance. I'm not sure that has ever happened to me before. The room was very tidy and nicely furnished. I found it annoying that it includes a kitchenette that you have to pay extra to use. There are instructions about what you can and can't use if you don't pay the fee, but of course they are not 100% clear. I don't want to have to walk to reception every time I want to know whether I can use a bowl or not. They paid the money to install the kitchenette, is it really so expensive for them if I heat my soy milk in the microwave that they have to charge me 30 Euros per day? Also, the description of the room should not mention the kitchenette or photos of it if the price for the room does not include free use of the entire kitchenette. The bed is little firm for my personal taste but definitely nice and flat without any sunken or worn spots. The bedding was much to warm for the temperature of the room. Speaking of the temperature, it was impossible to get the room as cool as I need it (for medical reasons). While I appreciate the efforts of modern hotels to keep their rooms ecologically sound, the air conditioning in this room was barely functional. The staff was excellent.

Dear Mrs. Emma, many thanks for your kind feedback. As stated in our description at Expedia, the apartments are let without the use of the kitchenette. The information of what facilities are included in your apartment are quite detailed stating - "Your apartment comprises a few amenities that will make your stay a comfortable one, like an espresso coffee machine, a kettle, a full refrigerator, cups, saucers and spoons, a complimentary selection of fine coffees and teas, sugar, coffee whitener and a bottle of sparkling mineral water. All this is included in your room rate." - . Our bedding is from Hotelys, a mafucturer of luxury beds and bedding. The property has been opened in 2015 and the beds and bedding are pristine as in their first day. Our AC is an ecological one, which means that it lower the temperature by 6 degrees below the outside temperature with a low energy impact on the environment. Very low temperatures can not be set, as you might be used to. Kind regards
