We had booked a relaxation weekend for 2nd December, 7 of us. Bed, breakfast, eve meal & spa I have today had an email to say that the pool etc is shut. No compensation but will give our money back.. how kind!! Myself & 6 other mummy's have had this booked for ages, I have had numerous conversations with the hotel about the booking & not once was this mentioned. I have 2 weeks to find an alternative hotel. I have visited the Coppid Beech Hotel a number of times but this has certainly put me off! Not one bit happy & a whole heap or stress I could do without

We were coming here for afternoon tea which was ok, 4 small tasteless finger sandwiches, very nice scone and small cakes, we have been for many afternoon teas and they all differ, but this is one place I would not re-visit. I cannot say it was good value at all. On a positive the surroundings were quite relaxing. We also visited the spa for a treatment each, the therapist was very pleasant and liked a chat, but in all honesty it was overpriced and not very relaxing, I was ushered into a very large room, not asked to remove earrings or top, I was having an eye treatment which included cleansing my face, it all felt very rushed. My daughter was having a half an hour facial, but was in and out in exactly 20 mins. I feel it was overpriced for what it was and would definitely not return or recommend.

Had the daughters wedding here on Saturday all went well and was enjoyed by the family attending. Antonio was really good and listened if we thought something could be better and done a sterling job. All staff very caring and nothing was any trouble if you asked for something to be done. Food and the service was very good no complaints at all. Thank you coppid beech for looking after us.

Stayed here for a night with a friend and as everyone says it is really dated, but it is spotlessly clean, I had a super comfy bed and a great night's sleep, shower was nice and powerful and plenty of mirrors and lighting in the room. We went to the Bier Kellar for the band and then on to Apres, the club. It was an extra £10 each for breakfast when we booked and it definitely isn't worth that, not a lot of choice, but the sausages were great! Will be going back for a hen weekend next year.

Third time staying here, yes in need of modernization but spotlessly clean . Staff very helpful. Evening meal excellent. Down side breakfast arrived at 9.30 , no plates when they did arrive, sausage bacon and eggs trays all empty. Went to get some toast again people waiting as no bread, also waiting for juice to be filled up.believe they need someone monitoring out front so this sort of thing doesn't happen.but overall excellent stay . Thank you

Strange Hotel. Looks like an alpine lodge from the outside, and something of an 80s time warp from the inside. 1 of the 2 sets of double doors were broken to the entrance of the hotel, and similarly 1 of the 2 lifts were also out of order! Sums up the hotel really. It advertises as a 4 star hotel. This is 3 star at best. The rooms were large but very outdated, as is the rest of the hotel really... Food very average but edible. The service in the restaurant was good but only 4 tables were eating. They advertise stag and hen do weekends and singles nights in the Hotel. I think that Sian up the sort of place this is really. I won’t be coming back unless I have to!

Such a beautiful building but in desperate need of an upgrade. We stayed in a suite which was a great size but needs an makeover. Carpet worn out, old shower even a carpeted headboard! The room was clean but looks tatty due to the age of furnishing and wallpaper missing. The bed looked lost in the size of the bedroom so maybe upgrading to a super king. Breakfast was ok, not very hot and maybe moving the buffet closer to the kitchen door to stop staff having to walk with hot food above their heads and ours to squeeze through gaps in chairs. Staff were absolutely lovely.

We used this hotel as a base for a weekend away for 7 couples arriving Friday night with Ascot races on Saturday and Windsor Castle on the Sunday. I will start with the negatives although nothing was that bad!! Hotel is getting old and in need of some money spending on it. General decoration is tatty. One of the two lifts was out if order the whole time we were there. Bar prices were as you expect in a hotel with the exception of the wine which was a bit pricey for a bottle but horrendously expensive by the glass so my tip would be to buy it by the bottle. A0art from that no real negatives. Onto the good. Staff were exceptionally helpful particularly Adrian in the Bier Keller and Jan in the main restaraunt. The Bier Keller has good food and a lively atmosphere and we were lucky enough to see some great entertainment. It is also open to non residents and after speaking to some staff it seems that it is popular with the locals but I must admit that as residents we were treated very well and dare I say better than non residents with regard to service etc. The Rowans restaraunt is a touch classier but the food is a fantastic quality and all 14 of us thoroughly enjoyed our evenings at both places but Rowans just edged it. Breakfast was superb. As a group we all enjoyed our weekend and the hotel made our weekend a better experience and we will definitely stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel for both work and pleasure the most recent being as part of a package to Legoland with our little one which was a one night stay at this hotel. We were allocated a large room with all typical features. I would agree with some of the other reviews that the hotel is starting to look a little tried, however on both visits staff were friendly and efficient, rooms were clean and everything in them worked. We didn’t eat in the restaurant at night, but did enjoy the buffet style breakfast in the morning.

Only stayed one night here. Hotel is generally a bit run down and in need of some investment. The room was comfortable enough and certainly big enough, but it lacked a good finish. One thing I have to comment on was the service, this was excellent throughout. The breakfast was good too.
