I attended a work function here a couple of weeks ago. The location is beautiful; right on the Thames with amazing views and pretty much in Eton and Windsor with it being right on the bridge. The staff were really friendly, and the food was lovely. The drinks prices were reasonable as well, which is refreshing for Windsor.

Had a decent check in for our weekend in Windsor. Was given room in hotel but it was up down, up down, up down, it's an old building so I won't hold that against hotel. What I will hold against them is the 'and Spa'. Trust me this is no Spa hotel and they should ditch it. The customer service on the reception of 10 Feb was dreadful, chalk and cheese to welcome at hotel. They don't have a pool but an outside Jacuzzi with a umbrella over it to keep you dry from driving rain?? Although we had a treatment card in our room the 'Spa' reception told us with great delight that they had no availability whole weekend. It's a Gym at best attached to a rather nice hotel. The executive room we booked was OK nothing special. Very clean and the bed was comfy. Digital TV on wall. No thrills similar standard as a premier inn. Evening meal was a valentine deal and there was only a limited choice but I found a lot to eat and it was delicious. Vincent our waiter made the night, he's superb and looks a bit like Fred Sirieix. Very enjoyable night. Breakfast however was a damp squid in comparison. Buffet (which is fine) but even the food brought out fresh was cold. Really didn't enjoy the cooked breakfast and had to wait for refill of bacon and then hash brown. Check out was good and John was a top chap. They looked after our luggage while we finished our visit to Windsor. So in summary a comfy hotel but forget about the 'Spa'. Good dinner service but i'd go for the continental for breakfast.

Dear manager I would just like to thank you for a lovely stay at the weekend. I will definitely be recommending your hotel to friends and family. Rooms were clean and luxurious and staff very friendly. I would like to say a special thank you to the young receptionist who was on duty Saturday and Sunday, I didn't get her name but she had blonde hair. Very professional and nothing was too much trouble, she always acknowledged us when we walked through reception. Rooms at front of hotel may get noise from passing people over weekend as we did, only downside.

very nice location and great friendly staff. as far as i can tell, there are a few out buildings, which i cannot speak to, but i was in the main building and it was quite nice. The food/drinks in the restaurant were good and the room service was available late and pretty quick.

Just back from a lovely 2 night stay, on arrival check in was friendly quick and efficient with staff on hand to assist with luggage. Our room was very well equipped with everything we needed and to our surprise we had an amazing view of the river. For those that need to keep in touch we found the wifi worked well in all the ares we tried it. Our room had its own air conditioning unit that was quiet and worked well, the bed was very comfy, there was plenty of tea and coffee making stuff and an additional espresso maker. The bathroom had a good shower over the bath and a good heated towel rail and nice thick bathrobes. Breakfast was really nice with a good choice of cold or cooked food and served in nice surroundings with river views. The location is ideal for visits to the castle and there are loads of places to eat within a short walk. Overall this was possibly the best weekend break we have had and will definitely be back.

Nice hotel but be aware of the fact it's spread out over two sides of a pedestrian walkway. If this doesn't bother you then would recommend, the spa is lovely but v small but the best bit by far was the food. We had breakfast (one of the best buffets I've ever had) and a very nice antipasti platter for lunch. Serviceand location were excellent.

Decided On this hotel for location and reviews. After looking on google images I saw a lovely pool and spa. However this was not the same hotel. A bit misleading but certainly not the hotel fault. Google to blame here. The location is amazing. The staff lovely and very attentive. I asked for a bottle of wine to be in the room as a surprise for my hubby. Again not the hotel fault (as I hadn’t stipulated what colour) a bottle of Merlot was brought about 5pm ( we checked in at 2pm). Just as we were returning from our walk around Windsor. I hadn’t specified a wine and red Is not our preference. So we didn’t drink it. On leaving the hotel. Red wine in hand to hand back as not to our taste. We were told that the bill outstanding was £140 for said merlot. I was shocked beyond belief. I gave back the merlot and the invoice was cleared. But my goodness if it had been white we would have drank it and been charged £140. For the bottle. Don’t get me wrong. It’s nice to have a birthday treat in the room. And I would expect to pay up to £50 for the privilege but £140 for a bottle of red wine. I’m afraid someone is taking the mick. And I dread to think how many people have been caught out. However. Saying that. The breakfast was lovely. The room Altho small was lovely. And I would return. But not order wine to the room lol.

We stayed here as a 2 night secret escapes break. We stayed in a club room - More than enough space for two, comfy super king size bed with 8 pillows, brand new bathroom with wonderfully powerful shower and bath. Breakfast had so much choice. All tasty and service was great. We ate in the hotel on the first night, fantastic food, attentive service and lovely view out to the river. Perfect location for exploring Windsor and Eton. Would definitely stay here again, loved it. Parking - parked in the Windsor and Eton riverside car park, much cheaper than the one the hotel suggested and 2 mins walk away.

My husband and I had a lovely Saturday night away here, we found the reception team really attentive that couldn’t do enough for you. The spa treatments were some of the best we’ve ever experienced. The location of the hotel was ideal for exploring. The only negatives was we had a bad meal at the brassiere and found the service at dinner and breakfast really slow due to lack of staff. Also we were kept awake by the loud music until the early hours from one of the clubs near to the hotel. Apart from that we will definitely be returning but will remember our ear plugs.

We have just returned from a two night stay. Our room was on the second floor of the annex building across the road from the main hotel. Check in/out was quick and efficient. Room was adequate in size and was well appointed. The shower was lovely but we would have liked a bath too, next time I would ask for a room with a bath. It was a cold weekend but the room temperature was perfect. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever slept on! Restaurant has lovely views across the Thames (our room had glimpses of the river and castle) and we enjoyed our meals, Vincent was very helpful. Would use this hotel again.
