Property was clean and employees were friendly. If you wanted to come in the room, which has a stove and refrigerator, you had to buy/rent cooking/eating utensils from them. They are a green property so they didn't change sheets and I had to take dirty towels down to desk and ask for clean towels! Other than that I had a good stay.
Well first off we arrived late to the hotel. The front desk was closed and we had to call a number and wait for someone to check us in. While we were waiting a lot of people were gathered in the parking lot dancing and playing music at their cars. No big deal. Then we were told that the only room he had left was on the 4th floor. Ok. We were not told that it was the smoking floor. I smoke to but when we existed the elevator the smell of smoke was almost unbearable. When we get to the room it was the same smell. The room was ok. Do not expect soap, shampoo, or any cooking utilities to cook with because nothing is provided. The toilet would not hardly flush. Worked fine for #1 but when you do #2 not so good. I called the front desk and told them it would not flush he said he would be up I a minute, and he was. He delivers me a pair of gloves and a plunger. Not what I was expecting. Anyway finally got everything to go down but the toilet remained the same the 2 days we stayed. My Wife could not even walk out to the car without people in the parking lot yelling at her trying to get her to come to their room. We even watched from our window a real life version of live PD. Would not recommend.
I arrived on time for check in, and called them because they do not actually man the front desk. When someone finally came down they informed me that they, at checkin, hadn't cleaned my room, and didn't have any clean rooms available. I waited over an hour for them to "clean" when i was let into the room it was still visibly dirty in areas and there was NO toilet paper anywhere in the room. NEVER AGAIN!
Bad too many noise a lot so bad people talking in the phone 4 am loud and high price
Staff is friendly. Only issue I had was that Internet speed is very slow.
We spent a week at the hotel. It is a no frills room, but it is clean and the bed is great, but a double bed so keep that in mind if you plan to share;). You also have to make your own bed as they don't have daily cleaning service. ( But you are on vacation, so I won't tell if you don't make your bed LOL) There is a mini kitxhen so you can cook but you have to bring your own kitchen stuff.Or buys theirs. But you can have cereal and tv diners with a little thought & effort. . Even the shhower was good, I highly recomened this place. It has a min stay of 7 days but at $25.00 a night it is well worht the money. Thanks & God B
The office only operates from 9-6 Monday through Friday and from 10-2 on Saturday. We had a room card that didn't work and was not able to get it fixed as we were busy having fun during their office hours. The room was fine for what we needed, which was a place to shower and sleep. We didn't get much sleep as the bed was harder than hard. The room had a refrigerator, stove, and microwave, so we were set if we wanted to cook our own meals. One problem, we would have had to purchase plates and flatware to eat with. We also would have had to purchase cookware. It certainly was cheaper to eat out. Fridge was nice for the beer, but who wants to have a beer in a hotel room when you are attending a Bike Rally? This is an "extended stay" venue that charges $149.00 a week. Kind of a slap to be charged $57.00 a night for three nights. It would have been better (and cheaper) to reserve the room for a week. No housekeeping, but that was fine for us as we only slept and showered in the room. Cell phone signal strength was marginal in the Springdale area, so I would recommend paying $10 for a week of internet. Remember to bring your Cat-5 cable or you will shell out another $7 to rent one. The room was satisfactory for the individual or couple who don't mind a rock-hard bed. $57.00 a night is cheap, but you give up the amenities you are used to for that price.
Value Place Springdale was a huge disappointment. Nothing prepared me for the fact that this was a resident long term place. The office was not open past 6 P.M. which caused lots of problems as my business in Arkansas did not allow me to get to the hotel until after 6. The rooms were clean & did not smell of smoke. However, I was not told that no cleaning would be done during our stay so the smoke did accumulate during the stay. This caused some problems as I am sensitive to smoke. In addition, there were NO ammenities...no dining room, no breakfast, no soaps, etc.,no coffee pot in the room, no towels available unless we went to the office to pick them up (which was difficult since the office closed after we got back & the one time we were able to get towels, they only gave us two when they knew there were 3 adults staying there). The location was not the best. There was nothing very close to the hotel..we had to drive everywhere.
