I hate hidden fees

The toilet stool was leaking onto the floor. The sink drained very slowly. Painters had done a bad job in this room, obviously working way too fast and not doing the usually necessary prep.

Dirty! The curtains were falling down in our room. There were dirt stains on the walls, the floor which was part laminate and part carpet just felt damp and slimy. The ice machine was broken but they kept trying to tell us it was just out of ice. Full breakfast was not being served but it was at all the other hotels we stayed at on this trip. They close the pool on the day we were staying. Even though it was the end of June, the air conditioner in our room had been completely shut off and it took nearly an hour to cool the room down to a reasonable temperature. We would absolutely never stay here again!

Terrible check in personnel. Didn't understand the online booking information, demanded more information before letting us check in. Denied access to room on third night, said we had checked out when we did not. An all around horrible experience.

The staff are friendly and provide a great experience for travel with our fuzzy kids with no extra charge. With COVID-19 they don’t open the breakfast but they offer a package with breakfast bars and an apple. The place is clean and beds are comfortable

Didn’t like the fact that my premium room didn’t have the nicer towels like the website said or the fact we had to go get towels the whole time we was there. The Snack pack was nice. The pool was closed and the whole reason we pick red roof inn was for the outside pool. Bed was hard and small and the room was small

It was a good place. No restaurant near if you had to walk.

For the price is was fine. The breakfast isnt good.

Staff was great, however it smelled like smoke and mildew.

Hotel staff quick and friendly. Room needs updated. Pillow case had stain on it when we arrived. Told two hotel staff people and they both shrugged. Would not stay there again.

We didn't get to go, our car got stuck and we cannot go there and we didnt get to check in.

It was a very pleasant stay--our first at this hotel. The bed was great and the breakfast was very well done!

Hi Christopher, any time you book a room on a third party discount site like Orbitz, you are only paying that site for the room and taxes. The site you booked through then issues payment to the hotel for just the room rate. The hotel is not supplied with your payment information as we bill the website for it. When you get to the hotel, we require a credit or debit card to be placed on file in case of incidental charges during your stay or in case of damages sustained to the room during your stay. These third party sites do not cover these types of charges. This is explained in the payment policies of every site we are bookable on- including Orbitz, in the email you receive as your receipt after booking it, and in the auto-generated email sent to you by Orbitz about the hotel's policies. This is a universal policy at most any hotel world-wide that sells its rooms on a third party discount site like the one you booked on. We just ask that you make sure to read the fine print and all policies before booking your stay as we do have this policy clearly listed on every site we are sold on. You were not charged, rather an authorization- or "hold" was done on your card. If you live locally to the hotel, this amount will be $75. If you do not live locally, this amount will be $25. As long as there are no incidental charges incurred during your stay and no room damages occur, this authorization is released by the hotel on your day of departure. It then becomes the sole responsibility of your bank to allow this to fall off on their timetable- usually three to five business days after you have checked out. Until your bank allows this to happen, this authorization will appear as a pending charge to your account. Please direct all further comments and/or questions regarding your authorization reversal to your bank as it truly only in their hands after you check out.

Dear Guest, I apologize that you had a less than perfect experience during your stay at Quality Inn Bentonville-Rogers. We are in the midst of a property-wide renovation right now and this includes our breakfast area. Because of this, we are unable to serve our normal hot breakfast but we are still providing complimentary grab and go breakfast items featuring an array of pre-packaged items that meet all Choice Hotels temporary breakfast requirements due to the renovation. Our normal hot breakfast isn't available right now for any other reason that that- simply because our breakfast area is under construction rendering it impossible to actually cook the hot breakfast. We do advertise that we are currently offering this as our breakfast on all online platforms- including the Expedia-owned website in which you booked, so we apologize that you may not have seen this disclaimer when booking your stay. I'm disappointed to hear that you felt our staff was being dishonest when they explained to you that the ice machine was temporarily out of ice, however that was truly the case as we had just had a baseball team leave out of the hotel that used a large portion of ice from the machine over multiple days when you stayed- and within an hour or so of them using it, the machine had reproduced enough ice to be able to work normally again. For future reference, the hotel does feature two ice machines if the one in the lobby was temporarily not producing enough ice for your needs. While we maintain our pool regularly, there will be those times when an unforeseen mechanical issue or any other issue out of the hotel's control happens that causes us to have to close the pool until the issue can be fixed. We never want any guest to be without having access to it when it is scheduled to be open, but the mechanical issue that happened last week to the pool was not something we could have prevented. We apologize that it just happened to be down when you were our guest. The pool is back up and running as it was before your stay but we understand that it doesn't make up for you not being able to use it during the dates of your stay. In regards to the AC in your room not being turned on when you checked in, this is due to the fact that the longer one of the room AC units runs without a guest occupying the room during extreme heat outside, the more likely it is to shorten the lifespan of the functionality of the AC. We understand that walking into a warm room during the summer is uncomfortable, but we hope that you will understand that we only do this to ensure that your AC will function normally when you actually do check into your guest room. We hope you will consider staying with us again when our renovation is complete as your business is greatly valued.
