Room apparently had a leak in the "kitchen" area for some time. The room smelled awful (thank goodness we didn't spend much time in there!) and the staff chose to do nothing about it until after we checked out because "well you're staying for a few days so we'll address it later" Also...the breakfast is good....when the staff stays on top of things. A lot of items ran out and weren't replaced which was very disappointing. The bed was very comfy....so there is that.
What's not to love. Great location, staff and rooms. Free hot breakfast. Coffee 24/7. Kitchenette in room.
We were in town for the Hydrocephalus Walk, the hotel was in a good location for the walk. My son had his own room, the desk help was very good.
The staff is very friendly. The rooms are very clean. They're also, the rooms are very comfortable.
I have no comment other than, the balcony door had to be repaired so it would open. The outside door wouldn't open from the outside and I was told they were having a problem with that door. I arrived with two adults and one child instead of three and one child but received no refund for the third person.

Thank you for your review Donella,We apologize for the issues you encountered while here. The gentleman in the room brought this to the manager's attention that there was probably something going on in the kitchen since the carpet was wet and he suggested we check the dishwasher since he had experience in this kind of thing. However, he made it clear to us to wait until after you all checked out. Otherwise, we would have had our maintenance on it. When we did check it out, we found no issues with our equipment. Our breakfast is very popular and often things do run low as we quickly prep more. We apologize you did not have a good experience with our breakfast either as it is a hit!We hope you choose to give us another chance to show you our amazing hotel!
