Currently under renovations on first floor, but otherwise no complaints. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating! Delicious, warm cookies upon check-in and breakfast each morning offered lots of options.
I spent one night here last week and give it an Average+ rating. I had a “King Suite” which really isn’t a suite given it doesn’t have a separate bedroom but that is common for Fairfield Inn. The girl who checked me in was very sweet and even offered to bring toothpaste up to my room when I discovered I had forgotten it. There is nothing wrong with this hotel but there is nothing that I experienced to say that it is exceptional either. It is very close to the interstate highway and about 10 minutes from Walmart HQ. I would have preferred a thicker comforter but again typical by Fairfield Inn standards.
This Fairfield Inn and Suites is typical relative to layout, service and cleanliness. The desk staff was outgoing, friendly and extremely service oriented. The free breakfast was typical, but satisfactory. This facility's biggest advantage is its location; it is within easy walking distance of movies, shopping and restaurants, albeit of the franchise variety. More importantly, it is right off I-49, with Fayetteville convenient to the south and the breathtaking Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art to the north.
I booked this hotel due to the slim options that were in Fayetteville. I chose this location because it had wonderful reviews. Sadly, It was a terrible experience for my family and I. We arrived on Friday about 8 pm. Normally, when you arrive at hotels the clerk is at the desk or somewhere near. I stood at the desk for about 10 minutes before I had to call someone to come down. When the person came they had another person with her which I'm assuming was her boyfriend? So, we finally got checked into the room. Upon getting to our room, we were VERY shocked at how small it was. I have never stayed in a hotel that had such small rooms.. About 10 minutes after deciding whether or not we wanted to stay or go elsewhere we finally just dealt with it and stayed. I had to call the front desk to get a crib and I had to call 2 times on the hotel phone and twice on my cell phone. The phone just rang constantly all 4 times. Finally, they called back and they brought a crib. The next morning for breakfast was another bad experience. Veggie sausage does not belong in a hotel. It was very dry and we couldn't even finish the sausage. I poured my son some milk that was by the coffee and as I was pouring it in the cup, I could smell how sour it was. I don't drink milk, so I had my husband taste it and it was indeed spoiled. So, I poured out that milk and I got a carton that was in the fridge. We got back to the room to eat our breakfast and I poured that carton of milk in my son's cup and low and behold that one was spoiled as well. So, I go out to get ANOTHER carton of milk. The next one was spoiled too! I finally had to reach in the back of the fridge to get 2 more cartons of milk out and thankfully they weren't spoiled. Also, they were NOT expired. I don't know what the deal was but the whole experience was awful.
We were two families with teenagers and chose this hotel because of the pullout couch so the teens could share the room with parents. Unfortunately, once the pullout was pulled out, it was next to impossible to get from the king bed to the bathroom. This was very inconvenient for the parent(s) that needed to use the bathroom in the night or early in the morning before the teens woke up. The location was great, the hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful. Because of the room configuration, however, I would not chose this property again. FYI - I’m a very loyal Marriott guest and have stayed and any other Fairfields and have not had this issue. This could be unique to this property. I will be sure to check the room layout online before booking at Fairfield in the future.
This is my second stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Bentonville Rogers. Each time housekeeping did a great job keeping the rooms in perfectly clean condition. However, on this stay when I returned to my room at around 2:30pm, the elevator was sprayed with what seemed like a toxic cleaning solution that hurt my lungs. So I tried to hold my breath and cover my nose and mouth, but it was still really pungent. It was almost like an extreme cologne or perfume type of odor that also permeated the 2nd floor hallway while I was walking through it. Fortunately they didn't use this chemical in the room. But wow, they need to use something a little less intense. That is my only criticism. The breakfast has the basics - eggs (either scrambled or hard boiled), bacon, vegetarian sausage, waffles, fruits, cereals, coffee, juices and my favorite Chobani blueberry yogurt. This is enough to get me off to a great start for the day. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
I had a great two week stay here, visiting friends in the area! The room was kept very clean by the housekeepers and the front desk staff were all very friendly. The wifi was fast and the onsite laundry facilities were a big help. Highly recommend!!
I am a big fan of the Fairfield brand of Marriott and this stay exceeded all expectations. This was a busy football and parents weekend at U of Arkansas and the staff were wonderful. They were very busy but helped me at check in with my room requirements. Rae and Rachael were outstanding. The facility is clean and up to date and the room was large wth good tv,microwave and refrigerator. Hot breakfast was very good. The hotel is a bit hard to find so I recommend calling for directions especially at night.
We like to stay in Marriott properties and usually have excellent experiences, but this Fairfield Inn was subpar at best. We booked two nights using points, but that has never affected our experience. The first morning when we tried to shower, the handle came off the shower. We managed to hold it on and get the water adjusted on and off and notified the front desk as soon as we left that morning. We were assured it would be taken care of. When we got back to our room that evening around 8, the handle was still lying on the side of the tub. When we notified the front desk again, they said they didn't know why we were promised it would be fixed because maintenance didn't even come in until the evening, but they could send him up then. We were tired and asked for a different room if there was one close. There was so we packed up everything and moved. We got settled and turned on the television which worked for about ten minutes and quit. We called the desk again and were told it was a whole hotel issue and there was nothing they could do. We understand that, but in the morning it still didn't work, but the one downstairs was fine. When we checked out, we asked that we be refunded at least a partial amount of our points used to pay for these rooms and we were told they would make a note. At this point, none have been refunded. And the story doesn't end there. In the chaos of moving we left a six pack of beer in the frig. I called the next day to see if it had been found and was told the room had not been cleaned, but that they would get it and we would come back by in a couple of days to get it. I left my number in case they didn't find it. At the end of our trip we made a special stop having not been notified of it not being found and they did not have it. In all, poor customer service all around and certainly not at a level we have come to expect.
Stayed here due to a DFW flight that was diverted to OKC. Didn't really spend much time there (4-5 hours) as my flight was early in the morning, but decent hotel. Only issue was with check-in, the person was not able to find my online 3rd party reservation, so I got charged twice as I had to reserve again (once by the hotel, once online). Was refunded by the 3rd party so not a big deal (actual hotel price was cheaper). Called a few weeks later and the lady who picked up was very pleasant and friendly, so that's a plus. Overall, decent choice if you need something near the aiport.
