Very disappointing - the reviews didn't reflect our experience. The first room we were assigned was already occupied. It felt very invading walking in on someone's personal space. The second room, the door was jammed. Considered walking away at that point but didn't want to be out the money so went ahead. The bathroom had not been cleaned. Toothpaste spots on the mirror and sink, hair in the bathtub. The floor had not been vacuumed whatsoever. The beds were made and the trash was taken out, that was the only way I could hope to guess that the room had been "cleaned." The power also went out in the middle of the night for about 5 seconds - not sure what happened there. The front desk staff was one person, she was apologetic and she was very nice but she can't be solely responsible for an entire motel, and it seemed pretty clear that was the case as she mentioned she had been there 11 hours already and she was on the phone with I assume her manager or someone helping her through the computer screens. Breakfast looked too scary to consider. When I did an initial review, the manager responded and said "we are working on the hotel." I hope so, but I'll be staying at the Best Western for a few bucks more, next time I'm in Benson.

There were bugs everywhere. Prior to going to bed I had to remove a few bugs from the bedspread. The pillows were 4 small squares on a king size bed. The breakfast was not even what I could have bought at the gas station. All in all one of the worst motels I've ever stayed at.

Velvet greeted me at the front desk ... was very friendly, very efficent and helpful.... once in the room the air wasn't working very well she offered us an upgraded room just across the hall ... was very happy with the new room.... Velvet said if we needed anything else just let her know... she went on and above her job duties .... would recommend her and your Days Inn in Benson, AZ to everyone...

Property is a little tired but the staff made up for it.

good value for the location, and the staff was helpful directing us to an eating establishment

there is not a lot to choose from, but on line this was a good value.

I was very disappointed with this motel. The room was filthy , carpet soiled and bedspreads were well worn and the shower head soap scum all over it was dirty. The laundry facility was filthy and I had to clean it before I felt safe using the washer and dryer. We had booked for two nights but left after only one night. Stayed the one night since it was too late to cancel and get our money back. Would not recommend staying here.

The hotels staff was great!! Hotel breakfast not that great but there is a Dennys right across the street.

Our experience was pleasant. The motel was in the process of maintenance (replacing carpets) but this did not hinder or have a negative impact on our stay.

1st night we had to change rooms do to a real bad oder. They did change our room. But there were no bath towels and no shampoo. went to the desk and asked for bath towels and some shampoo and never did get any. Also there was no tissues. We went out and bought bath towels and shampoo. Next time we go to Benson we will try another Motel.

Visiting elderly family members. Hotel had good shower, VERY HARD mattress, clean sheets every day, semi-quiet room on main floor. Would have preferred a room with a kitchenette but small refer and microwave were useful. Pool and pool area were clean and had adequate hours. Good location to freeway & towns main street.

We were not expecting much - very dated interstate motel - and basic carpet not something to walk on in your bare feet. Not much for the breakfast, but there was fresh coffee. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Nice stayover for trip from Texas to California.

Loved that it had a separate bedroom and small living room with a microwave and small sink. Did find on my way out and there was a dead cockroach by the front door in living room.

the staff and lobby very clean, rooms need improvement, found old food on floor, phone had a lot of dirt and dust on it, tables still had water stains from past quests. pool dirty and hot tube didn't work

The room was great very clean and bed comfortable, had a breakfast included. There were to closed eating places. It was very quite. Enjoyed it very much and a good price for the room.

The front desk gentleman was very courteous and went out of his way to help me.

None

Bath towels very stiff and scratchy. No security cameras. Fellow travelers car heavely damaged in parking lot in early morning as overnighters were leaving. No one saw anything.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. For the cost, I expected more. The room had a very strange smell, the beds were uncomfortable, and the continental breakfast was very limited.
