The hotel itself was great, clean and comfortable. I was annoyed that the kids that were there for a squirt hockey tournament were allowed to run around the halls playing hockey and yelling. We had to ask the front desk to tell them to stop because they were right outside our door banging on it as they played. Not long after they were told to stop they started back up again. Woke up to the kids balls and sticks hitting our door Sunday morning too. Parents and staff no where to be found...
stayed here for one night. room was clean and comfortable. used the pool and the water was warm. we didn't stay for breakfast so cant comment on that.We would stay again.
The cookies and snacks were a nice touch. The manager was so accommodating by helping us find places to go and things to see and do.
We stayed at this hotel due to it's proximity to the mississippi headwaters at itsaca state park. the room was fine although there was a strange smell to the room and hallway and suspected a party (small college in town) in a near by room. over all the hotel itself was fine.
The hotel was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was very good and had a wide variety of choices. I would definately stay there again!
The hotel was clean with pleasant friendly employees. The breakfast had a great variety of breakfasts foods to chose from. Everything was fresh and the kitchen and dinning area was spotless. We would stay there again.
The night we stayed was graduation at the local univeristy, the main stay of the town. They had ONE employee on as many people, including many grandparents, where trying to check in. The complaint isn't about the employee, but the staffing decision. ALso, the pool doesn't seem clean, it's murky and we found hairs.

First off the location was perfect. The receptionist was very professional and super friendly. The room was amazing. I really wasn't expecting it to be as nice as it was. The bed was extra comfy and the room quiet. For once I found a hotel that was perfect in every way shape and form. I can't wait to stay again!

It's a good location but a little noisy. Close to shopping and restaurants. The continental breakfast was what we expected. That area was kept very clean. Our mattress was too soft and rolled us to the middle. The pillows were soft too. Even after turning off the heat, and opening the window a couple inches, the room stayed too warm and the temp outside was only about 40 degrees. Odd!
There were numerous problems with our room/door but the staff was very friendly and helpful in solving the problems. Coffee was great! Breakfast was good. This is the most expensive Americinn we have ever stayed in.

I have stayed at AmericInn's before, and I've had good experiences at all of them. This one was no different, with a nice large room. I had a King bed with a desk and two chairs, along with a couch. I had ample room for hanging clothes in a nice closet, along with a microwave and fridge. My only complaint was that the housekeeping staff likes to get going at about 7:30am or so, and they don't mind making noise (Vacuuming, letting the doors slam, etc...) so if you want to sleep in, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Bemidji is a great place to go for a getaway. If you loke to shop for antiques, quilting, local boutiques we have it all. Bemidji does a great job with arts and culture. Thank you for staying with us!
