This is a very nice property in a good, safe location, very close to the heart of Belo Horizonte. It's on the main artery that cuts right through the heart of the city and although it's a bit of a trek on foot, you can walk to all the major sights and attractions. It's a modern high rise, well maintained, but if you don't like the feel of standard, international chains, you may prefer something less sterile. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the desk crew have good English skills. However, there is an issue in that when you check out, they automatically charge you a service fee and when you question it, you’ll be told it’s a tax. Since I had already been in Brazil for a few weeks, I questioned this as I’d never come across it before. Turns out it’s not a tax at all, but a an automatic gratuity added by and for the staff. They then went into a big sob story of how it’s shared between all the staff and how hard they work blab blah blah ad nauseam, so I felt obliged to pay. However it is NOT a tax and you do NOT have to pay it. Worse was to come as they offer a taxi service to the airport at a fixed rate of BR96.00. The price is stated on many flyers etc in the lobby, so I booked it. When I arrived at the airport I was charged BR165.00 and no matter how much I argued, the taxi company would not budge. So be aware of the hotel’s quotes. They are dishonest. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed. Nice, comfortable seating as well as large beds, although the mattress was a bit 'firm'. Clean bedding and nice hardwood floors. There are great views out over the city, even though the city itself isn't one of the most picturesque in the world. There's a long desk, with good power connections and free wifi, but it does require logins and passwords. There's a fridge packed with expensive items, but sadly, no free water, no kettle, no tea/coffee. You will need to bring in your own drinking water or buy the expensive hotel options. Or there is a filtered water fountain in the work out room where you can fill your bottle and slightly hidden in the lobby is an espresso coffee machine that’s free. The closet has a safe. There's a flat screen TV, but I didn't turn it on and aircon is good. Although there is some noise from the corridors and other rooms, it's not unusual and isn't disturbing. The bathroom is spacious, with a large walk in shower and soap, shampoo & conditioner are provided, along with a hairdryer. The hot water pressure is very good. Towels are a bit rough, but certainly clean. Breakfast is provided in the large dining room and there's everything you could want. A very good selection of good quality items. The restaurant staff could do with a little coaching in friendliness, with one sullen girl seemingly determined to get in everybody's way as often as she could. There's a very nice outside pool and deck area, as well as a gym and meeting rooms. For the rates offered, this is a hotel of exceptional value and quality. But the taxi scam is outrageous.

Stayed here for 3 nights for a family wedding. Hotel is conveniently located near many good restaurants and has a nice one of its own. Rooms were good sized and very clean. We were on the 16th floor with a view across downtown Belo Horizonte. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Other than our large wedding group that was staying there, hotel was very quiet (Easter weekend). Breakfast was very good, with many choices and changes each day. Restaurant was good for the one night we ate there.

Arrived to be greeted professionally and efficiently. Room spacious and clean with a great view (20th) view. Breakfast very varied and good quality. Had an evening meal the which again was good quality with great service

Ideal for my stay, this hotel is well located near the centre but away from the noise; rooms are comfortable, provided amenities are good (hair dryer that works without you having to keep the button pushed!), free wifi. Amazing bed. Showers have good pressure and nice temperature range, and treasure nowadays in hotels: the bathroom has a window. Good, varied breakfast. Efficient, helpful staff. Recommended.

Great hotel to stay, with an amazing customer service and employees. I really enjoy the breakfast and the rooms view to the city. It is also well localised. Only small things to improve: the friedge is too noisy, the shower could be better and the gym could have newer equipment and more variety.

I was speaking at a local school which was located very close to the hotel. Ammenities were great. Room was solid (Not blowing me away, but clean, comfortable and quiet. Exactly what you need.) The key cards had a habit of demagnetizing by the end of a day. I could get up to my room, but the room wouldn't unlock. Were I to get back to brazil, I would bone up on my Portuguese a bit, as I found myself struggling to communicate (but that's on my end). :) Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Excellent location. Staff very polite. They offer a delicious drink for free. I've loved that! Good free wifi connection. Extra large beds. Everything is very clean and tidy. For sure I will stay in this hotel next time I'm in Belo Horizonte.

The hotel is well located and has a good and comfortable bed. The shower was ok and also the amenities. Breakfast is good. Could have more food varieties. It is not a non-smoking building so, if you need, be sure to ask for a non-smoking room.

We stayed here for about 5 days and it is a very nice hotel. They have a good breakfast and it was clean. The people who worked there were pleasant and very helpful. The only small issue we had with billing was not their fault, but the booking company's. They usually had an English speaker at the front desk but not always (admittedly when we went down at strange hours). Overall it is a fine hotel.

The hotel itself is in a nice and safe location next to bars and restaurants. The room was clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helped us when we needed. The internet connection could be improved though; we felt that it was quite slow. Overall great for our stay.
