The room and facility was great for the price. Not to mention the breakfast options that were included added to the value of the hotel. The younger gal at the front was very nice upon check in.

Was able to get to nice places close by.Shop, hang out, walk the street with no hassel. The trails, the Lake Dog Park all close to Hotel.

Hotel common areas and room (supposed to be non-smoking room) smelled of cigarette smoke, not kept up well and my daughter got some kind of bites (maybe flea) on her leg. Breakfast was good.

It's always clean. It is convenient and right off of the hi way so it easy to get back on the road. The owner of the place actually works there. I have been staying there for the last 3 years when I travel back from the states. I like the place and the people that own it.

it was only OK. staff seem to really hate their job's. not friendly at all.

room was kind of dirty upon check-in. went to take shower next morning befor check-out, shower curtin rod come completly out of wall. very poor maintanence of room. coffee pot didn't work, nice bathroom counter top,but was sealed with bright white caulking. how ugly and trashy. noticed out side roof of canopy was rotting and needed repaired. very poor maintance all around hotel. should change hotel to motel. dought i will stay here again. told manager/ owner about things and he just looked stupid at me. crappy Motel!!!!! this is certainly Not a Inn!! and your rating chart could not enter anything above. How convenit!

Walls are thin so it's noisy and I had some guy screaming in the middle the night and he wouldn't stop

Check-in was quick and easy, room was spacious and comfy we got soaked in our bicycle ride so having heater in the room and air drier was great to dry shoes/gloves, etc. Well located: 5 minute walk from places to eat

The location is awesome, the motel outside appearance is fine, could use some updating. The signs outside said no smoking, people were standing around smoking anyway, employees maybe? It wouldn't have made any difference the smell of smoke inside was horrible. Our stay was on the 3rd floor, the hallway was worse then the lobby area. Our room was very smokey. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable, couldn't hear any outside noise from the hallway at all. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Because of the smoke, I don't think we would stay here again.

Most of the budget-range motels in Bellingham are located on the Samish Way strip near the university. Unfortunately, many of those motels have become rundown and are havens for illegal activity. But this motel and one other place nearby are located out on Meridian Street just south (west) of Interstate 5, across from the country club, away from the trouble zone. The Rodeway is preferable in my view, since the room doors open onto an interior corridor, accessed by passing through the lobby. (The other place has rooms opening out onto exterior balconies and the parking lot.) Nothing special, but a good place to know about for the budget-minded. It is close to Bellis Fair Mall (the main regional shopping center) and St Joseph Hospital, if you happen to be in town for a medical procedure or visits to a sick person. They serve the usual motel breakfast, and there is a small diner right next door.

I had a 6 night stay here, arriving early on the first day hoping for an early check in but was told the room wasn't available until 3pm. The receptionist was sort of uncaring and didn't offer any suggestions so I had to press him for options of which he was accommodating. Other than the cold welcome all the other staff were very friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was great although they won't make anymore waffle mix after 9 am. 2 mornings we were at breakfast around 9:10 and couldn't have the waffles. Jacuzzi was great. Did a lot of shopping and was an ideal spot to the mall, walmart and other shops and restaurants. Most within a 10-15 minute walk.

I booked a non-smoking room but when I got there they only had a smoking room available. Their check-in policy said I could check-in at 3pm but when I got there I was told the room was still being cleaned & I'd need to come back in an hour or so. I did but they were still vacuuming the room & cleaning the bathroom. I will not be staying at this location again.

The people at the front desk are very friendly!!!!

Everything was good, front desk was very friendly and helpful.

The accommodations were OK but the area & place seems to be a host to shady transactions!

I stayed for 2 nights and was very happy with the cleanliness and location. Cons were the noise from I-5 and the shower from the floor above. Since the breakfast was complimentary, I did not expect it to be deluxe but it could have offered a bit more choice.

You can stay here if you like the price but kinda rude front desk not friendly at all they seem depressed.

The room was ok, but dirty carpet, walls, floor corners filthy, was upgraded refurbished room but paid extra for the same and it felt dirty.

not bad but toooo over priced. look for cheaper but no deal.

You get what you pay for at this little inn off of the highway. We weren't expecting much and weren't disappointed or thrilled. It was a place to sleep, shower and watch some TV. The walls seemed thin and you could hear everything, but other than that if we were traveling on a budget I would stay here again.
