GuestHouse Inn Bellingham

Needed a place close to Seattle (do not like staying in downtown Seattle); this hotel was convenient, very good price. Close to highway, but we had quiet room (except for another lodger who seemed preoccupied with the nearby ice machine). Room was relatively spacious, especially for the price. Breakfast buffet was very enjoyable (not a large selection, but the type of breakfast food we like the most, cooked carefully). Would be glad to stay there again.

Great value, clean and comfortable. The hotel was also minutes from everywhere we wanted to go.

You are getting a 5 star hotel for $54. How can anybody complain? Sure the hotel could use an upgrade, but then you won't be paying $54 for your stay per night. I say leave it as it is, continue to show aloha to your guests and just maintain what you have for as long as you can to keep the price as it is. What you are renting when you stay here is a clean, well maintained place to stay for an affordable price. If you want to pay triple what Guest Inn is charging then you have the right to get critical about the condition of their carpeting. But for me . . . I was more than satisfied.

Close to shopping and town. Staff was fantastic and accomodating. Try and get a room on the west side of the hotel to avoid HWY 5 noise

The hotel was clean, friendly staff, great breakfast, affordable price and great location.

Was moved to a different room because ours had bed bugs. Ruined our whole weekend.

The room was suppose to be non-smoking (had to sign that it would be kept that way at check in), but it literally reeked of smoke. Carpet had stains and no available electric outlet at the bed. I had stayed here before, but it seemed to go down hill. It's not a total dump, but it's not where I would pick to stay again if I had a choice.

We were originally put in a room on the 2nd floor. Took a short nap in the late afternoon and woke up to spot a bed bug next to the bed. Took a photo and went to the front desk to show them. We were moved to a different room on the 3rd floor. The weekend was ruined. I was a nervous wreck thinking about bed bugs and checking all over the room. I am terrified to bring my luggage back into my home because I'm afraid a bug may have crawled in. The hotel should have just refunded my stay. It was a horrible experience.

Check in was seamless except for she forgot to give me my room card key and we had to go back to get it. Room was clean and we had the view of the freeway, didn't bother me because we wanted to be close to the civic center where it was a walking distance from here. Free breakfast was a plus too.

Rooms were well equipped, clean overall. The breakfast was typical and ok, for being free.

We stayed in Room 215. After an early morning hike, I was really looking forward to a hot shower. I tried to shower at about 9:30, but there was only lukewarm water. I waited an hour, but the same result. Other than that, I'd give this hotel a good review.

Stayed for 3 Night's ..Easy to check in right off Freeway but still quite for most part all the staff was very helpful did have a rude Breakfast attendant last day there. Going back to Bellingham in Aug for week and hope rates are fair so I can stay again.

WiFi is weak and inconsistent. TV loses cable signal often.

Hotel is not to bad. The bed was clean and comfortable, the price was low, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I thought the room was rather small,I would stay there again but ask for a room with a king bed or 2 queens

My wife and I had an early (5 am) flight and picked the Guesthouse hotel since it was close to the airport. The room was comfortable, but needed extra power outlets near the bed to accommodate my CPAP machine.

Room was not cleaned twice...left late one day, so perhaps that was our fault. When we asked for towels, there were no face cloths available because they didn't have enough. The hotel did put a credit on our account, so that was appreciated.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff Will stay again

Great affordable room. A bit musty when first entered, but cracking the window solved it.

Clean, neat place. Breakfast looked very scary. Didn't eat it
