No hot water all week only 3 towels had wait on them water from air ran across kitchen floor , 2 forks 1 knife 1 pan not good at all poor location room not clean when we arrived
Good for traveling students on a budget, but very small. Close to beach, etc. Clean and comfortable.
Pedros is a no frills establishment, but that was what I was expecting. Rooms are basic, but safe. They have a shower, sink, toilet, TV and in this case twin beds. Location is a little out of the town, which makes it much quieter. Close to supermarket and plenty of places to eat. Ideal place to say if you plan to spend your days diving. Easy walk to the airport of pier. The best part was the other travelers at the hotel. At nights they gather around the pool and socialize.
The bed was good, can't sleep without a good bed! Hot water, didn't have that in Nicaragua! Flat screen tv with lots of channels! Fan over the bed, and AC if you like that. Nice pool area with wifi. Great sports bar with cold Belikin beer and good pizza. You can have the pizza delivered to your room. Everything is clean and the staff is super friendly! Peter, the owner, even helped us find a place to stay long term for a couple of months, right on the water! Way to go, Peter! Thank you! I highly recommend Pedro's Hotel.
Pedro's is is an excellent low cost, place to stay. It is by no means a boutigue hotel, but it is well worth the price to stay there. The room has all you need, if you are going to use it as a base to do all the things there are to see and explore in Belize. All I had to do, to get going on my excursions is ask Phillipe and he took care of everything. I just had to show up. Overall the staff is first rate. Every one from the office people, grounds crew, bar staff and maid service, do their best, to make your stay at Pedro's enjoyable. Jason and Neville, keep your liquid libations coming, which don't cost much. There are organized bar activities to keep you interested and in a fun mood. As every reviewer says the pizza is first rate, and the other foods are tasty and a good value as well. Only drawback as some others have said, no light above the sink, but there might be a purpose there. It serves to keep you from seeing your radioactive glow, from all the sun you had during the day, and blood shot eyes from too may rum punches or Belikins the night before. The rooms could use a small plastic chair to sit on instead of the bed, but that isn't a deal breaker. If your looking for a fancy hotel, that puts, chocolates on your pillow, then this isn't the place. Go somewhere else where you can pay $150 to 200 a night. If your looking for a base camp of operations, that meets your needs, this is the place. That way you can spend your money, on things, your really came to Belize for, sight seeing tours, snorkeling and eating. The owner, Peter Lawerence, really knows, what he is doing here. Good value and friendly people working for him. He can answer most of your questions off the top of his head, or get you and answer quick.
On a 5 star scale, this place is a 1-1.5 star. The rooms are basic with very bad lighting. There is no light over the sink in the hotel rooms. You will need a flashlight at night AND during the day to see your face when washing it in the sink. The staff was mostly friendly though.
The budget hotel room is plain. There is plenty of hot water. The A/C and fan work great. The room is kept clean by housekeeping. Trips are booked by the hotel to insure that you get top-notch service. Felipe, the office manager, is there to provide insight. The property is a leisurely walk to restaurants, convenience stores, and downtown. Although this hotel is rated two stars, the staff makes it a FIVE star property. I would and will go back.
This place is one of the few inexpensive places to stay on San Pedro. Very basic room, but had everything you need and I enjoyed my time there.
Pedro's hotel provided the budget option that I was seeking. Relative to alternatives in San Pedro, Pedro's Hotel is inexpensive. Clean, spartan rooms, A/C, ceiling fan, satellite TV, nearby grocery, and Pedro's bar were all pluses for me. Also the staff are eager to assist you with booking most of your activities during your stay whether you are interested in diving, fishing or other excursions. I recommend Pedro's to anyone seeking a budget hotel.
Private rooms r makeshift in a large building so u can hear EVERYTHING through walls. Showers plastic and toilet plumbing not gr8...they clean rooms everyday which is good. People very friendly and helpful...not close to centre of town so get ready to walk. Not worth the price...maybe $40 instead of $60 would b good value.
