Good hotel, flexible rates - value for money - in a very good region, close to International Tourism Fair, comfortable, clean and full equipped room, very good service daily and a marvelous breakfast every morning. Many thanks to the Owner and the Front Office Manager for their hospitality, hope to see them again in future.
Nice, quiet, clean and friendly hotel. Very few people staying here durig my visit so it was very quiet. Breakfast was ok, nothing special but they made breakfast dishes on order and the omelette was very nice! Friendly staff, quick check-in and check-out. Cheap minibar :)
Hotel is located in the quiet quarter, not far from city center. Hotel looks bit older and worn-off. But rooms are clean and tidy. Hotel is quiet. Selection at breakfast is not wide, but food is good quality.
Easy to find it but not very easy to park in front so I choose a privat parking garage beside (50m) of the Hotel cost 10 EUR/day. Hotel is clean, space room, very good breakfest, walking distance to Sava lake and Golf club, for the city center you have a choice of the public transport, 1 day travel card cost 300 Dinars and Republic square is no more than 20 min by bus no 37. Only two negative points - we choose non smoking room and unfortunatelly smells like ashtray and there were not tee/coffe facilities in the room. However I recommend as a good standard for reasonable price.
I spoke at a conference at the Hotel Sumadija and was very impressed with the service, accommodation and the food. The conference was bulging at the seams - too many people booking was not the fault of the hotel - but the staff accommodated us well, made allowances for us and were really helpful providing anything we needed. Staff were friendly and their English was great. Food was spot on - lots of it, plenty of protein and all very tasty. The room was adequate and clean, although not huge - sitting to work at the desk was a real problem. Bed was comfy though. The room was quite warm initially but opening the window sorted the problem faster than putting on the aircon.
This hotel was a big dissapointment. First of all, this is NOT a Best Western Hotel and we are reportig this to Best Western Headquarters - you cant advertise with this brand because this hotle has nothing to do with Best Western Standards (my wife is working in the hotel-industry). As you can see an the photos, the standard is absolutely poor. 4-stars are absolutely exaggereted. There were no light-bulbs in the lamps so that we had to turn on the "big" lamp and our baby woke up. We reserved a twinbed-room with one babybed - we received a twinbed-room with another big bed and no chance for our baby to sleep in this bed (baby is 11 months - thats why we NEEDED and reserved a babybed). My friend and his family also stayed in this hotel and they received our rented room - so the hotel totally mixed the rooms. Also our room was a Smoking-Room - although we clearly told them that we have a baby!! The complete room was smoke-smelling. After we checked in I tryed to buy a bottle of water, no matter what the price is because we where very thirsty and the frontdesk told me, they cant offer me anything so I should use the minibar. Great idea - the minibar was completely empty. I tried to have a shower at about 23.00 h but there was NO warm water, even after 5 minutes of running water. I also must mention that as we arrived in the hotel, it was about 28° outside temperature at 22.00 h and when we entered our room, the heating was fully on power! I think the room was 40 ° hot - i absolutely cannot understand why the hotel turns on the heating in summer?? The bed was bad (but this is absolutely my personal oppinion) and the breakfast was very, very poor. I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel. Attention: Be very carefull when entering the elevator - as you can see on the picture you almost drop because there is like a "little stair" when entering. I almost dropped when entering while I was holding my baby. I absolutely promise that this review is written absolutely impartial and unbiased.
The hotel is very nice, the staff is well trained and they provide good service for organizing conferences, seminars, social gatherings. The desserts are marvelous, the space is nicely done and I had a very good collaboration with this hotel.
I visited Belgrade on business. This hotel was recommended by my business partner. I have been visiting this hotel for more than a year now. I would like to recommend hotel Sumadija by all means. Clean, quiet, good food. I am impressed by the people working here, since they really make me feel comfortable and appreciated each time I come.
Excellent hotel in a fine location, excellent food, awsome people. Everyone should come to experience Serbia, Belgrade and this beautiful hotel with warm people. The climate is great. Although it was beginning of April, the weather was almost for swimming in the phenomenal lake nearby.
First I was a bit afraid since the hotel is not downtown, but I was soooooo wrong about that :) The truth is that you are downtown in five to ten minutes by public transportation, and you are so near the city lake and the city beach at Ada Ciganliya lake, another nearby place to rest your mind, and Kosutnjak outdoor sports center int he woods is also nearby, and you can go by foot. Regarding the hotel itself - EXCELLENT! The service is great, people are warm hearted, the rooms are cosy clean and very peaceful. The food was awesome, you just need to try something besides breakfast included in the room price. Looking forward to come again next month. And big respect to Sandra who helped us a lot with her suggestions where to spend our free time. Thank you once again guyz...you are AWESOME!!! Big recommendation for the hotel. We had great time.
