Visiting Beijing for the first time with family, especially for an Malaysian. we had a great 7days trip. special thanks to mr.prakash, gary and francis for taking us around the city and shopping. they had help us alot because we are not able the speak Chinese. the hotel staff was very helpful. thank for mia a trainer, she had brought us to a good restaurant. we all loved the food there

The hotel room was too hot. The toilet did not flush properly. The first manager who spoke limited English helped by moving me to a new room. She also opened the window so as to let the cool air in. However my 8am wake up call on the Monday did not occur but thereafter it was all good. She also brought in a portable fan. My kids were visiting also and Kitty the manager offered me a 2 bedroom suite at a reduced cost of $80 per night. This room was much cooler with 2 toilets and a large bathroom. I must also thank Gary Gao for all his efforts in ensuring I had a taxi from the street for each morning I went to work. However on morning when he was not working they insisted I take the hotel taxi which cost me 3 times the normal fare. Gary had also assisted me in getting train tickets to Tianjin and helped with directions and also with places to eat peking duck. He tried his level best and can converse decently in English. The same cannot be said for the rest of the staff who could not understand basic english, I suggest 2 staff fluent in english work on a rotation basis on a 24 hour shift. All english speaking guests should be diverted to them.

This was probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Everything is wonderful, the staff were very helpful and the rooms were very luxurious. One of the staff who were very helpful was Gary, he was the concierge and helped a lot when we wanted to do something. Just a few things that the hotel needs to improve on is that the staff should be able to English for fluently since only 2 people could speak some English, the second thing is that the rooms get very hot in the winter and you can't change the temperature on the thermostat which is a bit annoying. But overall this is an excellent place to stay

Hello I would like to say that Tangla Hotel is a great chain with professional workers taking care of the guests. Here in this specific hotel I found a great worker 奋斗 .He always take care of my needs very professionally. Thanks Gary Guo for you're help during my stay in Beijing. Finally I would like to point out that this hotel is very clean and is situated in a good location. Thanks Alex

This hotel is a bit away from the centre but right across from the very nice Beijing Capital Museum and only 5 mn from Muxidi Metro Station on Line 1. The facilities are not new but the rooms are comfortable and wifi worked very well. I have not tried the breakfast. The price was very reasonable by Beijing standards.

The location of the hotel is great and the staff of concierge is extremely friendly and helpful, especially 董航. The price is reasonable. The room is clean and spacious. Highly recommended for the business trips.

Its my first time in beijing and stayed at Tang La hotel. I got food poisoning from having street food, called front desk they immediately came up and sent me to the hospital. they were very efficient and made sure I was ok and after I visited the hospital they told me to call back to the hotel if I needed anything else or need them to pick me up. I was truly amazed and impressed, the staff spoke good english and they took care of us in a timely manner. Service was excellent, food was good, nice place and very convenient and upscale designed hotel renovations. Everyone in their had a very nice smile and I felt so comfortable and didn't want to leave. It was an incredible experience and would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. You won't regret

I have stayed at Tangla multiple times (+90 nights) the last year and a half. The rooms are well furnished, with all the amenities you need for a business trip or a couple's vacation. The rooms are generally clean, although I have felt the carpet being used. What makes this hotel excellent is the service level. The room service is good, but I am a very big fan of the lobby concierge. They have helped me book flights, trains, other hotels and especially take deliveries and make payments from Chinese online shopping, sometimes before I even arrive. I have some of the staff on WeChat, in case I need help when I'm not in the hotel. I will soon be going again :)

The room was clean (#2003) and it was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning worked like a charm in the room although the common areas were a touch warmer. I did not face the main avenue so maybe that influenced the ambient noise. The room was good, it showed a little wear and tear but nothing awful jumps out. I had a Executive King which gave me access to the Executive Lounge, which did not offer complimentary breakfast. I learned that on day 2 of my 6 night stay. If you don't take the breakfast package and have the Exec room, go down to Café D'Or because there is a huge selection of fresher looking food. The food in the lounge was more expensive (160Y versus 100Y on floor 2). The evening snacks were not particularly good, mostly fried items and although cheese was available, when there were crackers, they were a bit stale. There is not a lot of English spoken here. There is some. It can be difficult to get one's point across. But they are nice. Jed in the Executive Lounge was very nice and went out of his way to help me. The hotel is about 4km from Tian'namen Square and the Forbidden City. It was a very cheap taxi ride and a very very cheap subway ride away.

Rooms ok nothing special. Air con worked well. Most staff had a basic level of English. The hotel has an exchange facility but I was given various stories as to why they couldn't exchange Australian dollars. Found it extremely difficult to have a taxi arranged from the hotel to a meeting. Breakfast extremely simple and not much variety. Not worth adding breakfast to your room rate just go down the road to Starbucks.
