Stayed at this place during my visit to Beijing. The bed is comfortable for my standard. Hotel water pressure is fantastic because they were running full house. Breakfast is alright though with a blend of east and west but definitely cannot be compared to the 5-star international hotel brands. It is within walking distance to Wangfujing shopping street where food is plenty. Late hours food can be a bit challenging except for McDonald's and KFC. There is a mall named AMPM which closes about 11pm. Overall, a yes.

This is our first visit to China. The hotel has a wonderful location. The rooms are spacious and breakfast was included. We spent the evening wandering around the street mall - fabulous!! The hotel was clean and most staff spoke English.

Good walking distance from subway, Convenient for shopping and sightseeing to a lot of places.Food choices for breakfast in hotel is good .Or MacDonald And others near by .Night market is near for good bargains.

Loved that I could say hey do you want to go for a evening walk to Tiananmen Square and we could. Everything was so close by. Just walked and walked. Breakfast was nice in the hotel. It was clean and the concierge was fantastic with last minute booking to the great wall. Great driver. Would want more time on the great wall.

As a same-sex couple, we had our misgivings about whether this would be an inclusive hotel experience as we had never been to Chin before, but the staff was welcoming and the service excellent. The only difficulty we had encountered was the English limitations - some staff members were perfectly fluent; some barely so. They were able to help to the best of their ability but there was no clear consistency. What worked out best was requesting the front desk and concierge staff to make calls, or write down addresses on your behalf. There IS a shuttle direct to the Airport that departs from the street; Be aware that the hotel somewhat had an idea of when it would arrive; it goes on a bit of a loop through the downtown dropping off and then later picking up passengers. Give yourself extra time; the schedule is VERY loose. Location wise, the hotel was in a perfect area right in Wangfujing with easy access to the subway system and an easy stroll to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. A Starbucks, Mcdonalds and Pizza Hut are also in close proximity if you're really feeling like getting American food in you - definitely do the Pizza Hut though, it's a completely different (fancier) experience in China. The room itself was gorgeous, comfy and perfect for a couple and we had a view into the interior of the hotel which was fine.

First of all let's concentrate on the positive. It is a superb location and the rooms are modern, well equipped, clean, large, good beds and superb bathrooms. I found the price to be good and the concierge service excellent. The wifi is also pretty good in a city where it is rather patchy. There were two downsides. The breakfast is 100¥ and is a Chinese/European brunch. It is bad value as the food is just not good and been out too long. The bacon was so over cooked I thought they had killed the pig twice. The coffee tasted awful and came from a hospital type coffee machine. My advice is go to Maan Coffee nearby for superb coffee and breakfast. My other complaint was checking out. I paid my room fee as I checked in along with a large deposit in case I used the mini bar. But when I came to check out they promised me they had returned the original amount to my card and and wanted paying again. I did reluctantly pay again mainly because my friend was getting angry with me and siding with the hotel. Six hours later I have paid £547 for a £175 room. This means I have weeks of arguing with VISA ahead of me. My suggestion is pay up front and ask for the mini bar to be removed and give them no deposit and no reason to fleece you at the end irrespective of whether they did it on purpose.

We stayed in executive room at the executive floor. Very nice room, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious, variety. The executive lounge excellent service. Location - 5 star Service - 5 star Food - 5 star Excellent hotel.

I can only say it's a convenient place to stay. I would call this a 3+ star hotel. Hotel breakfast was no good. Our stay includes breakfast but we only went for one day and skipped all others. We had lunch in the Chinese Restaurant and food was nice. However, comparing with other places in Beijing, I realised that that Chinese restaurant is actually charging quite high. The room we stayed in - the shower place has water leaking out to the bathroom floor, very inconvenient too. We had the room facing the street but it was quite noisy.

Great location for a short stay in Beijing. Easy to get to via subway with main attractions in walking distance. We arrived well before check in and were delighted to be able to check in early after a long early morning flight. We had a double non-smoking room, although did slightly smell of smoking. Our room love looked on to neighbouring church were people like to dance at night to music. Doesn't go on too late, and we only heard the church bells early Sunday morning. Great bath. Great breakfast and tasty duck dinner. Enjoyed eating in the court yard. Mini bar available. Very reasonable for deal.

The hotel was centrally located off Wangfujing Rd. so super close to night market, tourist area with shopping etc. All booking sites have said this was a 5 star spot...maybe for Beijing it is but by US standards I'd say it's a 4. Rooms were very clean, staff was super nice and we were within walking distance to subways. English there is less widely spoken than Shanghai so it was helpful that the hotel could give us written Chinese directions for taxis etc.
