The hotel has nothing to offer a tourist in the area. The lobby is well done. The rooms are a fair size, clean, and basically comfortable. The buffet breakfast was ok and nothing special in flavor. I would be cautious at the same time. One breakfast did not agree with me and an other tourist. The restaurant had a dish that enjoyed for dinner. But again, something did not agree with me and was felt just a few minutes after eating. The hotel is ok and I would be careful with the food.
Stayed as part of a Sinorama tour. Was really surprised with the quality of the hotel. Stayed only two nights so did not have a chance to heck ou the amenities. Bed was comfortable and not hard like some other hotels on the trip.
We stayed here for a few nights as part of a sinorama tour of China. The hotel was grand n it's day, maybe 15 years ago, but it still had lots of beautiful qualities. The location was remote, but the amenities were first class. We had morning buffet breakfast every day and it was first class. The room was very nice and the staff fabulous!!!!i
This Hotel was booked through my travel agent. I am not sure about its exact location as a bus took us from there to the places we visited. The Hotel itself was definitely a 5 star, with a International breakfast that was out of this world. Foods include your basic breakfast - eggs boiled, fried, waffles, toast, potatoes, an omelette chef, chicken, sausages, spam, bacon, congi, cereals, local food (various vegetables), noodles, fruit, toast, juices, coffee, tea, milk, kosher food, sushi, etc. etc. The rooms were large and the beds were comfortable offering amenities of coffee and tea. Beautiful views, clean an impressive lobby and English speaking people. a nice lounge (a bit expensive), shops, a spa. All in a nice area to go for a walk. Not far was a local community market, which in itself was an experience to own. Surrounded by $Million homes in a park area. A very comfortable place to stay.
Stayed 4 nights on a recent organised China Tour from Australia. The Hotel offers very comfortable and clean large rooms. The breakfast buffet is included in the rate and was acceptable with limited offerings that often ran out and were not immediately replenished. I'm not sure why however they have a more upmarket dining room opposite the breakfast area we were directed to that offers what looked like a far better quality. On our last night we booked into the Seafood Buffet for dinner. This had it all even french fries and pizza if that's your choice. The seafood selection was very good and I particularly liked being able to chose my raw seafood and fillet steak and get the chef to cook it my way with spices etc. The buffet food was a package with a glass of Australian wine on offer. On this night they also offered us the unlimited quality Australian wine package for $4 each extra. We had a great night and the total cost for 2 was $80 . The location appeared to be isolated from retail areas however when your on tour it's really only for sleeping and eating. For this it exceeded our expectations. Well done Nexus Tours and tour leader George.
Spent four night at this hotel while in Beijing. Large foyer with restaurant and smorgasbord, breakfast room. The rooms were good sized and the beds were clean and although firm, we slept well. We ate at the smorgasbord and enjoyed Japanese food and seafood cooked by a chef while you waited. Cover cost was $75 and included a free wine or beer.
Our travel agency was Sinorama who arranged for our stay at Loong Palace for two nights. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. There's not much around in terms of shopping or eating places, but we did manage to go to Aeon Shopping Center which was about 15 minutes away. Our rooms were clean and spacious. In fact Sinorama arranged great accommodations for us during our entire tour of two weeks. We had dinner in one of the restaurants on our first night. It was very good.
This hotel has all the appearance of a first world hotel. Good beds, clean bathroom, a window that opens. However, the air-conditioning does not work in spring, and no amount of asking will remedy that. Our room was too hot for comfortable sleeping. Buffet breakfasts were fine, with exceptionally good pastries, but do bring your own coffee if you are a cafe culture indoctrinated Australasian.
Hotel clean and well serviced. Staff helpful. Plenty of variety of foods at breakfast. Also excellent restaurant with a great selection of fresh fish and a variety of international dishes. Rooms clean and well serviced.
Stayed at the Loong Palace as part of a Nexus tour and was very pleased with the hotel. Excellent facilties in very clean and modern place; could not fault the room, restaurants, buffet breakfast or staff. Easy bus travel to all major tourist places such as Great Wall and Forbidden city etc. Would definitely recommend the hotel on all areas.
