We loved the location. It was across the street from The Waldorf and next door to the Peninsula. It was also a stones throw from the walking street and the street food alley. The apartment was very well appointed with sexy lighting and marble everything. It was an incredible value. Perhaps the best value I've ever experienced. The gym, indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were also a nice plus. The only thing we did not like was the oversized fake floral in the middle of the lobby. Nothing there would be better than what is there!!

This hotel is in a great location. Close to malls, food, and the Forbidden City. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The only thing is they don't have an airport shuttle as advertised. There is a public bus that will bring you near the hotel.

This hotel is more an apartment than a hotel with a full kitchen, dining area, and living room. We had 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, which is more than enough space for our family of four. The front desk is very friendly. The gym, locker room and pool are great.

Good central location, comfortable room, very good breakfast buffet for 100 yuan. Front desk staff nice enough and tried to be helpful but did not have a lot of info about the city.

My family and I stayed in the two bedroom. The hotel is located in a prime location across from the Waldorf and a couple of blocks down from the regent, which is beneficial if you are traveling from the airport using the shuttle. When you arrive in Beijing, please go to the airport shuttle kiosk outside the terminal by passenger pickup. They only charge 24 RMB per person for the ride. Then they drop you off in front of the Regent, which is an easy walk. On your return to the airport, walk back to the regent to the side parking lot on the left and there is a kiosk in the parking lot. The shuttle runs every hour. As far as the Lee Garden Service Apartments, the check in process was smooth and the room was comfortable and elegant. We requested an extra bed, which there was an extra surcharge. It was around $30 a night. However, there was plenty of room for it and the quarters offered lots of privacy for everyone. The roll away and linens were comfortable for my teen. We enjoyed having the use of a full kitchen and washer dryer. Chinese and Western Breakfast and dining were available for purchase and were very delicious and fresh. Although some of our tours started before breakfast began, there was a breakfast cart downstairs for quick purchase.

hotel is very nice in general but just the hotel room maintenance and maid service to keep the house clean, still need a bit more improvement. Other than that, it is a great place to stay.

The hotel location is excellent. The room (apartment - 2bedroom) was clean and very convenient with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a kitchen with some flatware and bowls/plates. The hotel also provided 4 bottles of water a day. The front desk staff was friendly, and spoke English relatively well. I wish the hotel had more tour options though, the tour for the great wall mainly consisted of an expensive tour or a private car rental. Washer/Dryer worked great. The only reason I did not rate this hotel an overall rating a 4 or 5 stars was because of the cleaning staff. Having been to China before, I know I have to carry my own TP everywhere I go - one day, the toilet paper ran out in one of the bathrooms and I expected housekeeping to replace the toilet paper when the room was cleaned. However, when I returned later that day the apartment had been “cleaned” and the toilet paper roll removed BUT NOT replaced. I did not notice until it was too late (if you know what I mean) thankfully I had tissues in the pockets of my pants that I carried for public or restaurant bathrooms, NEVER did I think I would have to use this at my “5 star” hotel. Since it was my last day I did not bother to complain, and thankfully the other bathroom had toilet paper. Also, the cleaning staff did not replace the toiletries appropriately, on one occasion an used vanity kit was replaced with 0 vanity kits and instead I was given 3 dental kits, while the other bathroom was given 2 shaving kits??

Everything is great except room wi-fi。 great location. Will stay again next time. I am very happy with this hotel.

Recently renovated, nice modern spacious room and great location.

The Hotel location was good near to many shopping mall. Newly renovated and Bed was comfortable. However most of kitchen utensils was available only by request. Service just ok but the receptionist was rude.

As the other high ratings suggest, this is a fine hotel and very well priced for what you get. We did not experience any issues with bugs (see another recent review). The rooms are large, the beds hard (I guess typical for China), and the location wonderful. The subway station is a short walk (< 10 minutes). Taxis are widely available, cheap, and the doorman can help you communicate with the drivers if you do not speak Cantonese. The kitchen in the room exceeded our exception. Microwave, stove, dishes, water boiler, refrigerator, etc. I agree with other reviewers that it's best to ask for a room on an upper floor and toward the back of the hotel. We stayed on the 15th floor and noise was not much of an issue. You can drown out the traffic below with the A/C fan. Convenient shopping nearby - grocery stores, foreign language bookshops, malls, etc.

After much internet research we finally decided on Lee Garden Service Apts because of the price and the fact that we could get a 2 bedroom apartment. When we arrived and checked-in, we could not have been happier with the hotel!! Its in a very nice part of town, right on the main street. Close to subways, buses, shopping malls, and snack street (if you are hungry for a fried bug or something). The valets were always friendly and helpful, and we got 4 bottles of water each day in our room. Having seperate sleeping rooms made all the difference because we were traveling with a baby who needed to go to bed early. Also, the room had a tiny washer/dryer which really helped keep our packing to a minimum. The baby crib they supplied was not too great, pretty rickity. The room key had a $600 US deposit! That was a bit much I think! Other than that, we loved this hotel and would absolutly recommend it to anyone!

The price is probably comparable to neighboring 4 star hotels, however the facilities are older and appliances don't function as well anymore. Is there any other hotel that has washer and dryer and a full kitchen? We booked this hotel mostly because it said to have cloth washer and dryer. Well, there is no dryer, the dry function of the washing machine doesn't work. We had to go thru a lot of trouble to change to a different washing machine, so at least the spin function work, and we hang cloth to dry. The download speed of their internet connection is 16.3 kb per second, (you read correctly: 16.3). We tested it several times. 10 times slower than a diag-up in China. Be aware. One side of the hotel is right next to an elementary school, so no sleeping in. There is a kitchen, but no cookware in the room, they rent to long term guests, so we had to buy some for our 10 days staying. Wouldn't it make more sense to rent to short time guests? Staff there are generally very nice and hard working, including the doormen, maids and the front desk staff. Maids don't speak much English but they are hardworking and deserve a lot of tips. We'll look for something different next time.

The only complaint with the room is that the AC didn't cool the room down enough. Other than that the hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and sppoke excellent English. The accomodations weren't lavish, but were perfect for what we needed. We had plenty of room to spread out with our kids, it was very clean, and everything was in good repair and cosmetically in good shape. The kitchen was also a nice addition so we could leisurely enjoy our breakfast. The walk to the Forbidden City took about 15 minutes, and there were also plenty of restaurants and shops in close proximity. The subway was three blocks away which made it very easy to avoid the traffic and head a little further away.

The price for this five star hotel is unbeatible. The location is ideal. The only problem we experienced is that the instruction for the washing machine isn't clear. We had to call the hotel service number for help. The drying function of the washing machine doesn't work very well. Our clothes were still wet after drying for 60 minutes.
