Stayed here for 3 nights. Great service, great room, great breakfast. There is no way to compare how you are treated in the motels in China. As for their ranting, this is another 5 star quality place to stay.
Lovely friendly excellent hotel really enjoyed our stay here. Room was big and ensuite amazing. Beds comfy. Breakfast was lots of choices as well as Chinese they do western breakfasts as well. Hotel is not in the centre so need transport.
This is fourstar hotel in Beijing and it really deserves all the stars. Good service, nice and rather big rooms with wonderful beds, good breakfast. Very clean! Highly recommended! There is a big conveniencestore on the other side of the street and you are pretty close to rhe real city.
Very convenient for a one night stand. The lobby is quite impressive by its size. Service is ok, but the personel at the counter could improve a little but their english ... Rooms are fine, getting a little bit old though. Wifi sucks. But maybe it's because of censorship ;)
Stayed here for 3 nights recently. Hotel was perfect for what we needed. We were on a tour and taken out on trips to the Great Wall etc etc - so it did not matter that there was nothing within walking distance - except a supermarket across the road - which was actually very good. Hotel very large and clean. Only a few staff spoke or understood English - but we managed. It is next door to one of the universities - and a busy main road. Buffet breakfast was adequate.
We thought this was a very decent hotel. It's not fancy, but the room was clean and comfortable for Westerners. Everything worked. Breakfast was fine. We were on a tour so we didn't have to worry about transportation.
The building is modern and to european standards. The breakfast is Chinese, the hotel restaurant seems to be always closed. There is no proper room service, (you can only order breakfast for your room) You cannot get food anywhere at the hotel after 9pm, there is a KFC across the road, if you are brave enough to cross the road. The once you have reached KFC you have the language barrier to deal with. I ended up with a chicken burger with peanut butter and a child's calendar! I would rate this hotel at 3 stars at best. It's not good. My air was faulty and stuck at 26 degrees they could not fix it. There is no bar just a lounge where they bring you drinks at over the top prices.
Stayed three nights whilst on tour. Spacious hotel with good sized rooms, well stocked bathroom with bath and shower. Enjoyed the breakfasts in the large dining area with a very good choice of continental or Chinese cuisine. Staff very attentive and cleared tables quickly. Small gym area on the ground floor but insufficient time to use it. The bar area was a good meeting place to relax in an evening with a local pianist providing the music. Shops and eating places across the road if you want to venture out.
We stayed at this hotel as part of a tour and then 2 extra days on our own as part of an upgrade to business class on the flight home. The room was OK and had a big bathroom and shower. However we could not get the temperature below 24C despite putting on the fan and opening the window . The air conditioning did not work ( no one I spoke to had air conditioning that worked) and this was at the end of October! The service was the same as other hotels we experienced in China , very, very slow.No one on the hotel front desk understood basic English so when our rep had gone it was very difficult. Behind the hotel is a university campus, there are a few green areas and if you walk through it to the right there is an (overheated) shopping mall with a Starbucks, papa John's pizza and a McDonald's for those that are sick of noodles! Warning! Don't use the toilets there, even by China's very poor standards they were disgusting.Breakfast was OK with some western food. Lunch is Asian / western but dinner is Asian only.
Stayed at this hotel recently on a tour of China. The hotel is great, very large and spacious rooms. The rooms have been updated as well and feels very clean. Hotel is a bit out of the way and not walking distance to anything. Breakfast in the hotel was great as well. A definite recommendation when traveling to Beijing.
