Days Hotel Beijing New Exhibition Center

Free airport shuttle and close to the PEK airport.

While a little pricey for what it offers, it is a safe choice if you are going to have an overnighter after flying into Beijing International Airport. Located 15 minutes from the airport, it has a shuttle beginning very early and continuing until late at night to save you from exorbitant taxi charges. The restaurant below the first floor of the hotel provides a wide variety of Chinese and Western cuisine. The exteriorof the hotel seems to be built in early modern industrial design. Our room was a little musty, but it was spacious enough for two and not at all dingy. Compared to other hotels in the vicinity, this one winds hands down.

We were told the free shuttle (yay) were going to pick us up within 15 minutes. We ended up waiting in the very cold, very polluted Beijing airport for over 50 minutes because the front desk lady at the hotel didn't speak English very well, and didn't describe the meeting point clearly. The hotel is located near the center of Beijing, clearly should be renamed. The staff were not friendly, I'm not sure if that's just how they do things. We only had 19 hours layover in Beijing, and I was really hoping to see the Forbidden city at night, but because of the shuttle delay, we had to cancel that out. We ordered room service at night, because there were no restaurants nearby. We ordered the burger with no bacon, it came with bacon. When we told the room service that delivered the food up to our room, he was just going to take off the bacon with his hand right in front of us. Yuck. The room got stuffy around 11 pm (night), so we turned on the AC, lo and behold, they sent a staff banging on our door like we did something wrong. It is basically a very old, very run down Days Inn. Definitely not going back.

I've stayed at Days Hotel several times before. It's close to the airport and runs a convenient shuttle every hour. The rooms are generally clean and acceptable, nothing amazing. The breakfast buffet is a bit expensive, but very nice. This is my choice hotel for layovers in Beijing.

Clean, comfortable, friendly, but no double full-size beds in the hotel

The facility seems relatively new but not well maintained. The staff are not well trained. For example, when I checked in, the staff couldn't find me in their system. It took her at least 20 minutes to figure out how to retrieve my reservation from the system. Also, some of the people working there were not friendly. The room looked new but the carpet was dirty. The knew we had three people staying in the room but just provided two sets of towels.

Overall a nice hotel. Friendly staff. Quiet and clean room.

This is a very clean and nice hotel , i've been to up scale hotels some don't come close to this. Good place to stay

Used Hotel to connect after long flight from the US. Easy transportation to and from, everything as expected. Good value

Besides the hot water requiring to be on all the way for a shower in addition to the bellhop who wheeled my two pieces of luggage in from the front desk which I had given him $ 2.00 u.s.d, in which he under his breath mentioned $ 10.00, it was a nice stay. The only thing I suggest is to check the hot water and wheel in your own luggage.

Stayed here during a long layover between my flights, shuttle was very efficiently run, Staffs were very nice, room was very very clean. It's sad that there's only one restaurant and a bar in hotel, which are the only place you can get something to eat. You won't be able to go anywhere else except the hotel, but I say the hotel is nice enough to just chill for a day. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for everyone.

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was extremely clean and safe. Not bad if you need to have a place to stay when you have a long layover.

In general, the service was great. Very nice room and close to the airport. The only problem is the location. There was no shopping or restaurant nearby. Overall, it is a great experience.

Just stay overnight. Close to airport, very nice food in the restaurant. Will choose this hotel again.

Days Hotel New Exhibition Center is ideally located for travelers who require short-term accommodation that is close to Beijing International Airport. We appreciated the friendliness shown by the staff with whom we were in contact and have no complaints about the comfort and cleanliness of the room. We did find the room over-heated, however, and this was in sharp contrast to the dining room which is bordering on frigid and thus an altogether uncomfortable place to eat. Cold plates and cups do nothing to enhance the experience. Also, we left a letter for guests we knew to be arriving later on the day we left the hotel. Despite nods of assurance, the letter was not given to the guests, even when the guests requested it. Our assumption is that the front desk staff did not understand the request but led us to believe they had. It is important for staff who do not understand to be able to say so and to not nod and smile as if they had. This is very deceiving and it is far better for the staff to be able to state that they do not understand if that is the case.

I chose this hotel because it was the best value airport hotel I could find. I was able to request the shuttle from a free payphone, and had to wait about 25 minutes for it to arrive. The hotel has scheduled shuttles back to the airport, which is more convenient. The shuttles themselves are pretty grungy, but do the job. The hotel is in a weird area that you won't really want to walk around. The staff spoke adequate English to get me checked in, and my room faced a construction area but was clean and otherwise satisfactory. The bed was firm like most Chinese beds. I did not eat any meals at the hotel. There is a Bank of China ATM in the lobby which was easy to use, and the front desk was willing to give me smaller bills. This hotel is fine for a quick airport stay, but don't bother if you need to go into central Beijing.

The hotel is in a convenient location. Everything is great except the room is a little bit small.

Connecting with the van was not smooth. Good thing i carry a Chinese cell phone. Hotel itself is in a construction area, but that proved to be no bother. Room OK. Waitstaff in restaurant rather delightful. Van back to PEK very easy.

The staff argued against me when a taxi driver tried to rip me off. I was disappointed, and it ruined the stay. Otherwise, the hotel is average for the area, and fairly close the airport. However, the staff is just not very good.

Nice staff, good Airport transportation/transfer. Room was very clean. Good value!
