My bedroom was very comfortable, nicely appointed with good mattress and renovated bathroom. With that said, a few noteworthy things: 1. When I checked in, thought it was a nice touch that there were complementary beverages in room refrigerator and glass jars with snacks. Quite surprised on checkout that there was a daily $28 amenity fee. For what I don’t know and was rather surprised as the inn was quite expensive. 2. Most inns have spacious common area to sit and relax. Not here. 3. One of Night staff members, young lady in white dress, was lovely and welcoming. However was surprised by older woman working Christmas Eve night. When I returned to inn, I wanted to see the book room featured on their website. As I entered the area, she followed me into the room asking ‘Can I help you?’ yikes, I paid well over $200 per night night to stay there and felt like an intruder not a guest.
I was only at the hotel from 11:00 pm until 11:00 am. I needed a good night's sleep for an important sales presentation nearby. My sleep was interrupted twice. First, at 1:30 am by the TV in the contiguous room. The second time when a staff person knocked on my door mistakenly despite my having left the do not disturb sign out on the door. Very disappointing for a Chateau Relais hotel.
Beautiful clean property and rooms. Friendly accommodating staff.
Comfortable clean and convenient place to stay. Rooms are comfortable
Quiet, beautifully decorated rooms, wonderful restaurant
Beautiful hotel that is perfectly designed. Just a short walk down a very nice street to the battle green. The staff was

Thin walls, You can hear everything from next room... Overall hotel is very good....Breakfast is phenomenal....
From the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out, everyone could not been more accommodating and polite. Our room was delightful and beautifully decorated, probably the cleanest hotel room we've ever stayed in. The bathroom was also spectacular, though I have to say the shower floor was quite slippery!!! Our only complaint would be that the bed was too soft for us. We both had a hard time sleeping and woke up with aching backs. An example of how accommodating the staff was--- I was craving something chocolate before bedtime, so my husband went to check to see if anything was available in the main building. The girl at the desk, asked if she could help and offered to get something from the kitchen. She came back with a small plate of miniature chocolate chip cookies---no charge. The restaurant was delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast that was included in our stay. Would go back in an instant! Wonderful location near everything!
