Me and my partner stayed at the Bedford Village Inn for a night during our friends' wedding weekend. The staff are extremely nice and accommodating. The rooms are huge and very well furnished. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. It has a neat, older feel to it, while still including all of the modern amenities. The food provided during the wedding and at the restaurant for brunch the next morning was delicious. I would highly recommend this place for a pleasant and relaxing stay.
The Bedford Village Inn is an excellent place to stay, quiet and affordable. Highly recommend. Restaurants are all great with friendly service. Stay comes with a nice continental breakfast and great coffee. Hotel has an older historic feel as well as a newer expansion wing. Convenient to Manchester and airport.
We arrived at the BVI Thursday afternoon, June 29th for the wedding rehearsal, our daughter's wedding was the 30th, and left July 1st. The staff and service were excellent, they went over and above what we expected. The wedding staff were very well organized, helpful, easy to deal with, kept the wedding party up to date with changes that needed to be done (rain changed the outside ceremony). The menu was excellent and received many compliments on our meal selection. We would, and already have, recommended The BVI.
Had my sons wedding at the Inn, beautiful, great food, and hotel extremely clean!! The building, is beautiful, I just wish we could stay longer! COMING BACK FOR A WEEKEND SOON TO RELAX! Looking forward to the Spa to open!
We stayed at the Grand Hotel at the Bedford Inn and it was gorgeous. We were welcomed with champagne at check-in and given a wonderful tour. We were very impressed with the staff. They were super accommodating and very lovely. We had a classic king room and it was unbelievable. The four post bed was beyond comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful. Turn down service with homemade chocolate chip cookies made our night! Breakfast in the morning was great. We did order off the menu, I highly recommend the French toast. Delicious! We then enjoyed the pool and hot tub... perfect end to our prefect stay. Thank you so much. We will be back!
This is a nice property, relatively well appointed, very comfortable beds and delightfully large bathrooms. Would definitely recommend it. However, the cost of $450 per night on summer weekends??? While nice, this property does not even come close to the level one would expect for that price. In addition, due to a private event we could not even use the pool as we would have liked. If the cost were $250 range, then I Would absolutely recommend. For 450, save your money, stay somewhere cheaper and put that money towards a property that provides $450 of value
We stayed at the Bedford Village Inn for 2 nights following a college reunion in Hanover, NH. It is a charming, high quality small hotel. The check in was a bit confusing because there are 2 different areas of accommodations on the property. We followed the signs to check in which appeared to be in the original older house on the property. A gentleman at the front desk guided us to the appropriate check in for us in the newer, "Grand" house. We were checked in by the most lovely gal, Sabata (from Italy). We had arrived early and our room was not quite ready but she put a priority rush on it. After having a delightful lunch on the back terrace we were able to check in to the room. The room was spacious and the bathroom was quite luxurious with a marble tiled floor, executive level sink, and fancy rain forest shower, along with a soaking tub. There is a turndown service in the evening with waters and cookies provided. The hotel has several varieties of dining options, one in the Grand area (where most guests stay) and a couple options in the older building. You can have anything from casual dining to fine dining. We did casual the first night and finer dining on the 2nd night. Both were excellent and highly recommended. For a smaller hotel the dining options are very appealing. You can easily walk between the Grand and main house or they are more than willing to provide a shuttle, door to door. The service was impeccable and they put a priority on pleasing their guests. There is an outdoor swimming pool and they are currently building a state of the art spa facility. I don't know about weekends but during the week a lovely continental breakfast is served, complimentary. I would highly recommend the Bedford Village Inn for a delightful stay. You will not be disappointed!
We stayed here the night of a friend's wedding and this hotel was beyond wonderful. Shout out to the front desk who was accommodating and let me check in around 2pm so I could get ready for the wedding. We stayed at the Grand (the newest property on site) and it was just amazing. The beds were comfortable and I was obsessed with the style of the shower. The bar staff at the wedding was wonderful as well. Kudos to Pat for being so much fun with the bridal party and being so attentive. I would definitely stay here in the future.
Beautiful room, exceptional food and service. The most perfect wedding venue, conveniently located. Could not have asked for more! The deluxe room we stayed in had a lovely sitting area and marble bathroom. The beds themselves were high (my grandmother requested a step stool to get into bed). The food was delicious- for wedding food, (I got the steak option), each was cooked to perfection (medium). They were also able to take your steak back if you wanted it cooked more well-done. The garden held the wedding ceremony, which was able to seat 200 guests easily. The string lights added a touch of ambiance as the sun was setting. The tavern had a delicious buffet breakfast the next morning, and their French toast was to DIE for! Exceptional service!
Beautiful property, excellent amenities, spacious room. Wonderful stay!! I would definitely bring my back to the Bedford Inn so that she can experience the wonderful accomodations. Staff was excellent also.
