Check in was fine with polite employees. However, room quality was extremely poor. One of our rooms had a broken door handle. When it was reported, a maintenance man came up and fixed it. There were roaches in both of our rooms. There was mold in the bathrooms. there was half a roll of toilet paper in one bathroom, and no replacement rolls. When I called to the front desk to see if we could get some more, I was told to come and get it. Had we not been dealing with a funeral, we would have searched another place to stay. I was very disappointed, since I have stayed in many Quality Inns in the past, and have never had a problem.

I left my 2 curling irons in the room and when I called back 2 days later they said they do not have them. I feel the room service person should have turned it in and then if no one called for them within an appropriate time period then they could give them away. Bottom line I left them in the room and the staff took it upon themselves to keep them. They were expensive.

Room was clean but overall place needs updated. Also handicap room was a long walk from registration. At times loud music could be heard from adjacent room.

I’ve stayed here twice. Old property but overall seemed clean. Pool was great. The second night of my most recent stay the AC cut off about two hours before I needed to get up. When I walked to the unit the floor was soaking wet. I went to the vanity for a drink and there were three large roaches. I left immediately without a shower. I stopped by the front desk and they stated they would refund $20, which they’ve not. No apology either. Also when I got in the elevator to leave a plastic panel from the ceiling was laying on the floor.

I am covered from head to toe in bedbug bites. I have multiple autoimmune diseases so this may lead to an infection.

Great location, hotel definitely shows its age. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was okay. Very basic amenities.

Staff was constantly cleaning the grounds ensuring it was clean.

The biggest thing going for this motel are the people -- all friendly and helpful. Location couldn't be better. It's a bit dingy and rough in the elevator area, but the room was fine. The walls are paper-thin, however. We could easily hear conversations next door. When we went down for breakfast, there was very little available; I think we still had over an hour left. That was disappointing.

It was my husband and I, and our 2 (near 17yos) kids. We had asked for either adjoining or side by side rooms. Our first rooms were side by side. The elevator, on the outside of the building, smelled like soured, dirty, gym towels. It was 45 degrees outside and the elevator AC was blowing full blast. Our room (hubby and I) had no heat. Heater wasn't plugged in, but after closer inspection, there was no place to plug it in. We even got on our hands and knees to look under the system, only to find about a 1 1/2 inch gap open under the system and we could see daylight through it. We asked to be moved and we were moved (up a floor, and on the complete opposite side of the building), but when we requested also moving our kids up to be close to us, We were met with hostile resistance citing that "they don't move people if there is nothing wrong with their room". ....so my husband had to strongly push back. Our second set of rooms were actually nicer. However, we found "body hairs" left in the shower from a prior tenant. And the door to the mini fridge had nearly been ripped off thus causing the compressor to run until the entire unit was hot. We unplugged it and alerted the desk. Thankfully it was just an overnight stop on our way home from my father in law's funeral. If you can afford a nicer place, you should probably take it.

Appeared to be the the cheapest hotel around, and you get what you pay for! It is an old hotel. It looks like they are trying to modernize a bit. The beds are pretty uncomfortable and pillows are lumpy as hell(felt like a bunch of socks in a sack). The first room we were given was on the first floor a the carpet was soaked and the room had a stank to it. Requested a room change and the lady (Myra) at the front desk was very helpful. I'm not sure if the water came in under the front door during a rain storm or what, but it didn't belong there. Overall the hotel kind of felt like you were on the set of Cops. You know the show you get all sweaty to watching at home? Every once in a while they get called out to a shady hotel, well I was waiting for the cameras and the men and women of the law to appear, luckily they didn't. The place had a weird vibe, thankfuly we were able to talk the kids out of going to the pool and we just hunkered down for the night. If you are looking for a place to try to get some sleep and save a few bucks, this place will do. If you want to rest in comfort and enjoy some hotel amenities, shell out the extra 40 bucks and go somewhere nicer.

Hotel was run down...Bath room tub drain was slow, standing water while taking a shower... Cigarette burns on the sheets and this was supposed to be a non-smoking hotel....

We booked this hotel because of the lower cost so figured it wouldn't be great. The room and property were all pretty clean. The main reason we chose this one was because it had a "fitness center." Big disappointment there - they had 3 machines but not free weights and we had the air down to 65 degrees and it was boiling hot and humid in there. Looks like there was a rack to hold free weights but all of them were gone. Was a tv in there but it wouldn't even power on. The continental breakfast wasn't great. It did have yogurt, cereal and a waffle maker. Any pastries they had were pretty dried out and there was no fresh fruit. We usually stay at hotels with breakfast so we don't have to pay for another meal but we ended up going to IHOP for breakfast the 2nd day because we didn't really want to eat the breakfast provided at the hotel. The room was pretty clean. The only issue with the room was the AC unit. Didn't seem to want to get very cold. We had it down to 68 or so and it felt like it was at least 10 degrees hotter than that in the room.

Things were very clean. Free paper and breakfast. Close to stores and restaurants.

If a comfortable bed is important to you stay somewhere else. If helpful staff is important stay somewhere else. Other than that it was ok. They obviously do not appreciate all the business they get from the families of the USMC there for the graduations.
