I got a good deal on the hotel and luckily it was close to where my conference was. The only problem was I saw a few spots on the ceiling where it could be Mold growing. When I went to the front desk for anything it usually took a few minutes for some one to come up even though I could hear them in the back.

staff were very nice. gentleman who checked me in was the same person at the desk when I checked out. since I am a technological idiot, he printed my boarding pass for me. I asked housekeeping not to bother cleaning the room the first morning and they abided. would stay there again.

I routinely stay at this chain when on the road for value and service. This is by far the best one I have visited. My only negative is that they forgot to leave coffee cups the following morning and i had to ask the front desk.

The hotel was okay, good warm cookies in the evening, sometimes forgot to empty trash and restock. Nice staff, bad pillows.

The hotel was in a great location for what we were there for. It was quiet and restful, but the rooms lacked that cleanliness feel. The bed did not have an extra blanket on it, when the room was made on our second night they did not leave fresh towels (we had to call down for extras and they were out of wash clothes). The bathroom needed a good cleaning around the toilet area. It did not have an alarm clock in one of our rooms. The light fixture in the kitchen area had a short in it and would not work correctly.

We stayed at this hotel to visit family. The location is great, and convenient to everything we wanted to do. Though it is right of the interstate, it is hard to find - with no sign visible to direct you. The rooms are very nice and the staff are very courteous and helpful. However, I did not rest very well as there was constant noise in the hallway and lobby. Do no stay on the first floor.

I came into Baton Rouge for one night on business and needed an inexpensive hotel. My criteria for choosing hotels was fitness center and safe area and I feel that I had both. The gentleman at the desk made a great restaurant recommendation (Parrain's on Perkins Ave) and was helpful in giving directions for sightseeing. The hotel is nothing grand, but is clean and quiet. One of the downsides was that I had to sit near the door with my laptop literally on my lap in order to get wireless service. WiFi is free in this hotel, so I can't complain, but it would've been nice to have been able to spread out at the desk. The bathrooms are also nothing special, but the room itself was very comfortable. FYI - fitness center has cardio equipment only.

stayed there for one eve not a bad place smelled of fresh paint but over all not bad..location was great for us to getting back on the road plus close to several food places...

Our primary problem with it was that it was not very clean.

I was staying in the area for a 220 Church Conference at the end of June 09 and found that the Hotel was very close to many eating locations also a nearby Wal-Mart for last minute things that are needed. I was very pleased with there service and room especialy the Kitchen!!! This allowed the room to be more spacious compared to where my other friends were staying.

Hotel was conveniently located in respect to LSU. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Did not like the severely stained carpet which made me feel like it was not very clean. Housekeeping did not come to clean the room until 5:30PM at which time we had returned and did not want to be bothered. Over all older hotel, nothing fancy, but decently priced.
