Desk staff was fresh and forceful about my reservation. Bound closely to rude. I had to re clean the room. Not enough towels and the bed was comfortable

Attended an Ole Miss football game and needed a place to stay for the night. Staff was very friendly. Hotel old but clean and served the purpose of a tired family. Very affordable. Breakfast staff awesome.
I booked 2 rooms with double beds in each. When I got there to check in, they only had 2 rooms with one king size bed in each. I'm disappointed.
I say the room was nice & cool since it was hot that day.The only problem I have was that the refrigerator would not get cold. We reported it twice got another room both times, but the refrigerator in those rooms wasn't cold either so we stayed in the 1st room and just dealt with it. Over all, it was a good hotel to stay in.
Stayed in May, pool not open, it needed a new light installed. Stayed weeks later, hot day, pool not open. Need the pool to unwind from the driving. Pool should have been ready a month earlier. Don't want excuses, just results.
People were very friendly - will not take that away from them. Very helpful!! But when we opened the door to the room - it smelled like...someone who smoked 100 packs a day 100 years in a row with that bad smoker after taste smell...YUK!!! The room itself is nice and big...bathroom towels are the size of a peanut...by the time you dry your lower body, you have to go to the next towel...like paper!! But for the price - what do you expect!!!

The hotel had a great location and cheap price. But, you get what you pay for. The room was dirty and smelled like smoke. There were old,used shampoo bottles left in the room from previous occupants. I do not want to know what else was used. The air conditioner worked but, it did not seem to keep the room cool enough. My husband went out to the car and saw a man trying to break into someone else's car. I did not feel safe there. The highway was noisey.
