Our toilet was not attached properly to the floor, the counter tops and the tub were stained and definitely not cleaned recently.

Terrible. Extremely dated, worn-out property. Noticed many holes and cracks in walls, mold/mildew and bugs in bathroom, no fridge, tiny tv with minimal channels. Entrance made the hotel look like it was shut down and entire place smelled of smoke including front desk clerk with cigarette lighter on counter. Room did not smell like smoke but had a strong chemical smell which gave me asthma and shortness of breath which is rare for me. Difficult to find room and did not feel entirely safe parking car in back where room was located. On the same property as a Red Roof which we accidentally went into looking for our room somehow, which was even more disgusting. Overall unpleasant experience and would not stay here again. Cheaper than others in area but stiull not nearly worth the price...lesson learned.

Door doesn’t shut easily , no fridge microwave - shower needs updated -

This hotel was adequate for an overnight. We had to request a new non-smoking room as the first smelled of smoke. The facility seems to be used as temporary housing by construction workers who kept propping the back door open leading to security concerns.

Run! Don’t do it! Lol. My brother made the reservation for this establishment. We were on a budget and he thought it was a great deal. I always like to start with the positives. Location was fine. Room had new carpet. Customer service was not bad (staff was friendly). Breakfast was included. Not bad, was typical waffle station, bagels or toast, muffins, yogurt, bananas, coffee, apple or orange juice, cereal or oatmeal. Negatives: Beds were small. Dead fly on the AC. TV was small. Sheets had cigarette burns, even though we were in a non smoking room. In fact, when we checked in, I asked if our room was a nonsmoking room. I was told we weren’t even close to the smoking wing. Yet the halls and room was saturated with smoke. Our saving grace was the laundry room was near us so it smelled like clean clothes however, we still had to walk through the smoky halls to get to our room. Did I mention that our room also smelled of smoke? Moving on, the iron was damaged and stained. This place felt like they rented rooms by the hour. What’s worse is that when I looked at other hotels in the area, the difference in cost was $20. Needless to say, my brother will no longer be in charge of making any reservations. If the room was not paid for already, we would have left. The only reason I rated a 2 instead of a 1 was because the staff was friendly.

Staff was wonderful and very accommodating to all our needs and any conerns. Very friendly too. I didn't care too much for thin, worn bath towels. Breakfast options were great. I would stay there again.

Please do not go to this hotel, It smelled musty, moldy and mildew. It was disgusting.Management should be ashamed.

3 of 4 nights had to go to front desk to have room key reset. Returned one night and room had not been touched. Had no clean towels or anything. Apparently they do not use garbage bags because we never had one in room.

Stayed here for a motorcycle rally. Not a bad place. Could be a bit cleaner. But overall good deal for the room rates.

The hotel is clean and the room was spacious. It was quiet in the hotel. There was a very nice continental breakfast.

I had to make a 1-day visit to Batavia and booked my room at the Days Inn well in advance. It is a moderately busy place with some groups staying overnight on their bus tours. For having dinner you can go to just one place next door to the hotel (if you got no car); however, it is nice there. I had a bad sleep due to recklessly choosing "any" room instead of a firmly "non-smoking" one: it smelled horribly, but I have to blame myself for that. In the restroom they have neither toothpaste, nor the toothbrush that would make "that special something" everybody needs. Breakfast was fine: you can make fresh waffles for yourself and eat your belly full.

The place was clean. Forgot soap and shower items in the room. Bathroom is made for little people. Bathroom door rubbed against toilet and stopped by the shower rod sticking out. Have stayed a motels that were worse and definitely better!

The thing that turned me off the most from this hotel was the lobby. It smelled like Body Oder... The rooms were ok and clean for the most part but the lobby was bad.... The staff was short staffed and not very friendly. The one good thing about it was it was very easy to get to and from Darien Lake.

Only issue I had was at eight thirty, housekeepers trying to get into our room when check out wasn't till noon

This is the 2nd time I stayed here. Theme first time the heat didn'tt work so they moved my room. The last visit the remote was missing so staff brought me another one. Also they do not supply conditioner for your hair anymore so don't forget your own. Overall staff at front desk is friendly and its a good deal for the price

The location was good, right off the thruway and near restaurants. However, the beds were very uncomfortable and at the price for a one night stay, the value was pretty poor. The hallway had a smell of stale smoke. Luckily, the smell didn't make its way into the room.

The Days Inn Batavia is easy to get to (and easy to find as you come off I-90). It is listed as recently renovated, however this seems to only apply to the linens and beds. The lobby is bare and not very welcoming (although the staff is accommodating) and the building itself overall is well-worn. Our room included a room with a toilet and a shower, the sink and mirror were in the bedroom area. The carpet could use a cleaning, the dressers were worn, there was a bug on the wall, the garbage had beer bottles in it, and with the additions of a microwave and a fridge, there was a sever shortage of outlets. In fact, the iron was stored in a location that had no outlets, and required me to unplug a lamp to use. However, the bed was comfortable, I was tempted to steal a pillow because it was comfy and you could smell the bleach on the linens which was reassuring. Heat worked almost too well, which is not a problem. While the shower was aged, pressure was good and heated quick. This hotel would be best for a one-night stay (certainly no more than that) for someone or a couple who just wants a bed for the night. If you're looking for amenities or staying with children, consider dropping a few extra bucks for somewhere else.
