The room I stayed . The whole night I can hear noisy from the ceiling. I was skiing the whole day . Too tired to get out the bed to make phone call to complain . So check out the hotel very early the next morning

Very clean. Rooms were large and well appointed. We stayed in renovated deluxe room. Location and onsite amenitit we're good.

Very friendly with a fantastic restaurant (Gustav's).

I loved the number of amenities that the suite offered. My only issue was the carpet because it was rough and resulted in my feet drying out quickly.

After check in we noticed that our room was directly beside a stairwell. Because there are no elevators in this hotel, my husband and I quickly noticed after trying to take a nap that this door constantly squeaked very loudly and would slam every time people opened to enter the second floor. I calmly called front desk and tried to explain that we were at the facility for just one night for rest, and could they accommodate us and move us to another room. Scott, the front desk clerk said that short of pulling another guest out of their room, they were fully booked up and there was nothing he could do. I politely, and I stress politely, expressed that I would call him back in a few minutes to see if he could come up with another solution. My husband and I looked online and noticed that the hotel still had availability and all the rooms were not fully booked. I called Scott back and explained what we'd found. Scott said rooms that were available were deluxe and I had "pre-booked" and paid, he would not accommodate my request for a move to a quieter room (away a squeaky and slamming door). He was basically calling me a second class guest. Let me note I did not yell, swear or raise my voice; however, Scott called me rude. He said he would put me in another room because I was being rude. Wow. I was embarrassed and insulted. I was not looking for a free upgrade, as he shared in front of other guests when we went down stairs, and I was note rude. Respect all guests.
