Best Western Hotel HR4.0 out of 5.0

Though it is named Best western, It lacks some aspects from the brand name. The room which we got had an old appearance with faded carpet and old furniture. The bathroom was renovated and was nicely designed. Only the fault was that there was no hanger for the towels near wash basin. The bed was somehow not so comfortable. Breakfast is big No-No! Staff was struggling with English language.
This hotel is far away form the city center. Located near the highway and very noisy. The pool is dirty. Breakfast is poor. The refrigerator and aircondition are not working very well. Only advantage öf this hotel is very close to airport. Thé staff are not very helpful and kind.
This hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, if you don't have a car don't stay there. There is no shuttle and Taxi anywhere is €25 minimum. Far from the airport and the city. The hotel looked really empty, The rooms were clean, The water in the pool was clean
We had a night in Best Western HR before our flight from Bari airport and it served OK for that. It looks dated, but the room was clean, they provide spacious parking and restaurant was surprisingly good. The hotel is on busy road, but we've counted it as advantage because of easy exit to airport early in the morning. Real minus - very weak Wifi.
The room was clean and modern. The bed could be improved with a more comfortable type but overall it provided a decent night sleep. The WIFI was fair but kept timing out resulting in losing the signal and then reconnecting. Only had a coffee offered for breakfast but it may have been due to the time I checked out which was about 7:00 AM.
Decent hotel but nothing more. It's clean and functional but feels a bit 50's. Right next to a main road but not noisy inside the hotel. Location is a bit odd, an industrial estate outside of everything so not good if you don't have a car. Free parking if you do though. Pool was large and clean though unfortunately a little noisy due to the road which is only sheltered by a few trees/hedges. Staff are very friendly and helpful. WiFi is slow and fiddly but just the right side of keyboard smashing frustration. Rooms are basic but large, bathrooms decent but no window or ventilation means they get quite stuffy and smell a little musty.
Hotel is located on a busy road so if possible get a room at the back of the hotel. There is a good sized swimming pool located right in front of the hotel and between the hotel and the busy road so a bit noisy and air quality would be dubious. The rooms are good, clean and spacious and the reception and restaurant staff were friendly, English speaking and informative. Breakfast was good but the dinner in the restaurant was from a very limited menu and the very good waiter did his best with limited facilities. WiFi was good and, as it should be in all hotels, was free.
stayed here for one night after landing late at bari airport. basic family room of a good size that slept 4. clean, comfortable. breakfast average. hotel right next to motorway but relatively well sound proofed. it also has a pool that we didnt use. staff friendly and helpful.
This hotel is a good place to stay if you are visiting the city of Bari , Italy or need a hotel near the Bari Palese Airport. It is comfortable, has an excellent breakfast and a young, caring and professional staff. The room could use a bit of updating but is a good value for the price.
These comments are made as part of a visit in a group so groups beware. The hotel is large but only has two small lifts. They take three people at a time or two and suitcases so you can imagine the time it took to get people to the 6th and 7th floors. On leaving you had to take your cases down early in order to leave on time to catch the plane. Dinner the first night was what could be expected in a poor quality factory kitchen. No red wine available only white!! Breakfast the following day was a shambles; we have eaten better at an IBIS budget than here. We were provided with one small croissant, one small piece of jam-covered cake and a piece of what resembled a Madeira cake. The grill wasn’t working so only plain bread available. Two waiters were frantically going backwards and forwards between two large groups trying to fill everybody’s coffee and tea orders because there were no drinks machines. It’s the first quality (???) hotel we have stopped in where guests were unable to have unlimited drinks and breakfast items Lunch was fine. Dinner on our second and thankfully last night was again an experience. The main course consisted of four different types of cheeses with a small stuffed tomato and a small green pepper. For those who didn’t eat cheese a plate of sliced gravadlax-type tuna was served, but no vegetables. Breakfast the final morning was better; additionally ham, cheese, bread toasting facilities, flasks of coffee and hot water were made available.
