Hotel Internacional Ramblas Cool

Unfortunately we were here right after the attack on Las Ramblas. I was frankly surprised a TV station didn't book our room, because one of our balconies looked right down on the memorial. The staff was unbelievably friendly, the location was literally 60 feet from a metro stop, and you could get to all areas of the town very easily. If you have never been to Barcelona, this is a perfect location. On top of all that, the room itself was so cool, and the views so nice. Plus it had air conditioning that made all the difference in August. I would have no reservations recommending this place. Anything you could want is right outside the door...ATMs, taxis, metros, Las Ramblas, coffee, restaurants, pizza, souvenirs, etc. It did have an "open concept" bathroom, so if any of the food gets to you, you may want to turn the tv on loud if you have a partner waiting in the bedroom for you. We didn't book the breakfast, but from seeing the people eating on the balcony, overlooking Las Ramblas, I kind of wished we did.

Nice hotel, excelent location if you want to enjoy Barcelona at night. Some issues with the shower that they didn't fixed. Mattress was not good. Nice staff.

The hotel is in the middle of Las ramblas and you can walk in any direction and find food, shopping, and museums. Hotel is bare minimum amenities, but it's clean, has hot showers, and aircon. Street facing rooms can get loud in night. So if you do not want to be woken up in the middle of the night by young drunkards, please make sure you ask for an interior room.

Overall the hotel is clean, neat and very convenient to restaurants, walking to waterfront or the plaza Catalunya. Staff was pleasant and very helpful. Breakfast was convenient with a good selection of foods and coffee/tea.

Upon learning of flight delays, I called Orbitz to notify of delayed arrival. Unfortunately, upon arriving in Barcelona that morning, we got to the hotel only to find that our room (which I PAID FOR & didn't get refunded for!!!!) had been rented out to someone else because they knew I wouldn't be in that night. They only had a VERY small room with a full size bed available & I had specifically requested two twins. I was outraged that this took place! I was tired & ready to shower & rest after over a day of air travel. Very bad experience! Plus, staff speaks very little English.

This hotel is in a perfect location on La Rambla. The room was pretty nice, but not very big. However, that's to be expected of a hotel in this location. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was good enough. The wifi was unfortunately down for the two nights we were there, but as long as that's taken care of, it's obviously not something to worry about. Given the location and rooms, I would recommend this hotel.

Outstanding, location, price, service could not be better! It would be nice to have international news channel

This hotel was disappointing. Rooms did not look like the photos. Beds were cots, broken safe, fridge not in working order, and furniture in the room very worn down. The two positives were location and very helpful staff.

I thought the hotel would be a dump, but it was actually very nice. The room I had was spacious, clean and modern, and included a balcony overlooking Las Ramblas. However, the wifi was very spotty, which can be a big problem if you're travelling from another country and need wifi to stay in contact with people.

The rooms were beautiful, clean, modern, AND SMALL! However, space is sacrificed to stay in the heart of the action. Our room overlooked Las Ramblas. It wasn't noisy, and so much is within walking distance. Oh, and we enjoyed the free bottled water!

Good location and reasonable price. Standard room means it will be very, very small and stark. We only stayed one night and didn't spend much time in the room so it was fine. Didn't find the bottled water on the 2nd and 4th floor that is supposed to be provided for free. If you are looking for frills look elsewhere or plan on booking a bigger room at this hotel.
