Very good stay. The service and staff were outstanding. The room was big and had a view of the mountains. The location was not far from the metro train station and the football stadium. Short train ride to Las Ramblas.
It was my first time in Barcelona and we could not have stayed at a better place. My room was one of the recent renovations and overlooked the polo fields and the city. The room was spacious and the beds fluffy and comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient from beginning to end. We ate several times at the Terrace restaurant onsite and had drinks at the bar inside. Both provided high quality meals and drinks. The hotel is on the edge of Barcelona, but there is a steady line of taxis and the metro (which is very easy to use) is within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. There are restaurants and shops within walking distance of the hotel also. I would highly recommend this hotel to travelers.
We were lucky enough to stay at this amazing hotel while attending a conference at the same hotel. Always a little nervous if the ratings and pictures will do the hotel justice when you arrive. A quick taxi ride from the airport and you step into absolute luxury. Lots of available taxis, but we very quickly learnt to use the tube station 600 M away. We bought a 5 day (120 Hr) tube pass for cheap, which we used extensively getting around the city. An amazing breakfast sets you up for a productive day of sight seeing. Lovely rooms!!
This hotel is an exceptional hotel, perfect for people who are looking for a place that guarantees you a overall perfect experience. Not only was the facility amazing, but the biggest prize goes to the amazing staff behind it. They are such kind people, that they will ever be forgotten by us. Especially the doorman with the heart of gold! Señor Elber, thank you for everything, you made our trip memorable. Muchas gracias to this amazing hotel.
Best experience ever, very friendly people, treated like royalty, I would recommend this over and over.I had one of the most amazing experiences and met great people at this hotel. The hotel in over all, is very clean, great service, beautiful gardens to just go and relax after a long day. I would definetely go back.
This property is really out of the way. The swimming pool arrangement is strange in that one has to walk to another building and it appears one needs a spa pass to enter. The staff here is really friendly and the room was grand. It’s a great business and conference hotel but I wouldn’t take my family here.
I arrived by cab yesterday to find I had lost my wallet. Elber just escorted me straight in to reception and arranged for the hotel manageress to make payment of the cab without any drama. Thank you both. It was appreciated. BTW the hotel is great.
Yes, in addition to other characteristics of an Hôtel, I will start evaluating them from a very simple point of view: how indecent the price of a small bottle of water in the mini bar is. Because it is from these small details that one realises how badly managed an hotel is, how unethical their owners and managers are. 6 Euro this time, a 250cc water that they must have purchased for aprox. 0.20 cents. It is a rip off, an indecent one.... Off the list.
We were allocated one of their refurbished rooms (0728) ticked all the boxes when we opened the door , WoW Factor , spacious ,well appointed ,TV >> 48 ins >.>4 k quality picture numerous channels ,Free Wi Fi down load speed 96 Mbps incredible !!! A view over the National Horse Polo Head Quarters Fascinating . The bathroom was large well appointed , but the King Size Bed was definitely one the best we have ever slept on with pillows to match , so quiet . Comprehensive Breakfast in the Market , we also had two meals in the Lobby Bar again value for a large Hotel Chain , but very , repeat very low slopping chairs made it very difficult to eat , lower our eating experience . Front Desk very efficient / helpful along with the concierge , particular with the Pianist on the Grand Piano playing in the HUGE lobby , gave it a luxury feeling . Other helpful points , Metro 10 minutes walk to get to the tourist down town attractions , 15 minutes walk to the Barcelona Football Stadium , Taxi to the Airport even the morning rush hour only 25 minutes , approx €35 with tip , Whilst the Hotel is located on the outskirts of Barcelona after a day of intense activity , the gardens , pool area make a welcome change , Fully recommended for a mini break , enjoy we did .
Travelling with Amway is always a great experience. This time they booked for our group this amazing hotel with the great service, wonderful location, contemporary design and very comfortable well equiped rooms.
