When somebody travel, first impression is decisive to come back. For sure this place is not the place I will come back. No WI-Fi in all the rooms. Shower slippery. Buffet breakfast not the best and run out before time, hotel didn't keep breakfast till time it was supposed to be. Difficult to get Taxi if you go outside, every time we have to walk few blocks before. You can hear noise from street. Front desk not helpful if there is a problem in your room.
Every time we go to Barcelona we always choose Capri by Fraser. The front desk staff are always ready to help you, efficient and they treat you with kindness. The rooms are spacious and clean. Furniture is really cool and the bed is extremely confortable. The air conditioning works beautifully ( Barcelona gets somewhat warm in summer). Breakfast is great, the quality and quantity is always to be remarked positively. The personnel is always there for you. I always come back and I thank all the staff for making me feel home every time I’m there. Thank you Gaia, Poli, Ana, Rosa, Clara, Tamara, Alba, Alex, Toni and all the staff.Sorry I cant remember all the names.
Stayed at Capri by Fraser many times elsewhere in the world and this one has the worst quality & service, tarnishing their brand name. The staff lack friendliness, professionalism & respect and seem to enjoy purposely being rude and unfriendly with their clientele. They do not understand the meaning of hospitality and customer service and are in serious need of training! The room itself wasn’t as nice as in the pics and felt smaller, but it was okay for one night. They only offer two sachets of normal instant coffee - not even a decaf option. Nespresso machines like the one in Brisbane and other Capri’s would be nice. They seem to be skimping and trying to cut costs at this one. If you can get it for under a hundred bucks a night then it’s acceptable but not worth putting up with their rudeness & poor service for anything more than that.
From the check in to check out terrible experience. Poor service. Not worth it for value of money The staff at the reception are not friendly and professional i dont that they have hospitality background.The rooms towards the road is noicy you litterly hear everything happenig oustide on the road the whole night. There is no enought staff at the hotel to serve the guest. Whatever you need the reception will answer by we dont have enought staff please come down and collect by yourself. location good but service is very poor and more over the staff at the reception are very rude. Really dispointed.
The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the location. The hotel itself was really great and were very pleased with our room and everything else. There are only a few options for food nearby that we found and it is a little bit far if you are walking from a metro station. We had two big suitcases and walked a good mile and a half to get there, which was our own fault with planning. But just so you don't make the same mistake, take a cab if you have a lot of luggage. We did walk from the hotel to La Sagrada Familia, which was not terrible. Just don't do it at night or with kids. It's fine if you are solo or a couple that doesn't mind walking a couple of miles. Room Tip: keep your curtains closed during the day while you are away, the sun made our corner room very hot with them open. If you keep the curtains closed it's fine, we did that the next day and it wasn't hot anymore.
Marc (host) and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect and convenient. We had told Marc that we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday so they had a cake and a card in our room when we checked in. Very thoughtful. Thanks.
I booked my room five months in advance. When I arrived on Saturday 15th of June you made me pay the full charge and after that, without any significant apologies, informed me that due to a technical problem the room had no electricity (no lights, no television, no hair drier, ecc.). At the beginning no alternative solution was offered since I was told that on Saturday (as well as the following day) was impossible to solve the issue and the hotel was fully booked. After various complaints (I was travelling with two kinds and one of them was just 2 years old and it was dangerous to leave them in the nights without any light) a room finally came up. I have never seen such an unprofessional behaviour and will never attend a Fraser's facility again.
We had a satisfactory stay - the hotel is a little farther removed fro the city center and we were disappointed that the rooms did not look like their advertised pictures (there's definitely wear and tear). I would have liked to provide a better rating, but there are two things that prevented this: 1) No coffee available in the room - instant coffee is not okay. I've traveled all over the world and this hotel is the FIRST that did not have a coffee maker in the room. Then, to be scolded by the reception for coming downstairs to grab a cup is ridiculous. If coffee in the reception area is for 2.50 euros, then state that! 2) The ladies that work in the reception need to be be more helpful and friendlier. Neither of the two ladies wanted to help answer simple questions, as evident by their body language. I don't recomend staying here.
Great hotel!!! Amazing staff!!! This hotel is great place to stay, with great rooms and amazing breakfast. We will stay again. It is located in the residential neighborhood. Supermarket and pharmacy close by. Sagrada Familia is 20 minutes away, on foot.
Great in all three: (1) the location is near to Metro station, (2) the room was nice and (3) the staff was courteous. We are a family of 2+2, and we had a wonderful stay here. For the amount that we paid, it was value for money. More importantly, we were really happy to stay here.
