Nice residential neighbourhood 15min walk from city centre. Very very basic hotel, which is fine, but front staff was cold, somewhat rude and unwelcoming, that left a sour taste. Rooms and simple, small, but neat and clean. Go with no expectations and you will be fine!

The hotel is very nice, always clean, greatly located! The rooms arent the largest, but considering the star level, it is more than worthy, bathroom was modern and minimalist style, with all necessary amenities available. Very comfortable bed. Great breakfast, with loads of variety (hot rechaud options always changing from day today!), well displayed. The breakfast gentleman was always working hard while being nice and helpful. Keep him! The only issue we had was with the lady in the recepcion. Had to say "good morning" loud and clear and wait 5 min. until getting another one back, and when asked to make a reservation for a restaurant (we had asked the previous day if they could do it if we needed to and they said absolutely) she staired at us: - "well, what's the number of the restaurant?" - "oh, we don't know, but it should be online... do you need us to check?" - "yes, i cant do it, because I have a lot to do" Weeelll... just when you think that would be on the to-do-list of a recepcionist! But we werent bothered by having to go look for it ourselves, it was more how it felt like we were crossing the line and asking an exceptional favor... Anyway, apart from this not-professional-or-nice-at-all lady (this particular receptionist - others were always nice!) and the fact rooms lack a mini-bar, it is a great choice. There's a supermarket next door (literally). I'd reccomend it everyday!

Pros: ¤ Location..2mins walk from Urgell metro station. Plaza catalunya and las ramblas at walking distance. ¤ Nice clean and spacious bathroom. ¤ Baby cot included as per request. Cons: ¤ Window latch was broken, a person could climb/ fall out if window left open. Unsafe with a baby accompanying us. ¤ AC unit not yet activated and it was already warm for mid-March. Heating unit was all that we had and due to the unsafe window couldn't keep that open at night. ¤ Staff not accommodating to change room or get window fixed. Even would not change the dirty/smelly electric kettle in the room until we complained 3 times.

The hotel has very modern furnishings - hard to believe its only 2 star. I did not try the breakfast so I cannot comment. We were there in April - the weather was good, not too hot. The room though did get quite humid during the day (the aircon did not work). The room also did not have a mirror besides in the bathroom, nor any view really (even though it was sold as a room with a view). It was 2% extra with a view so not too concerned about it. There was some noise when other rooms flushed their toilet which was weird. The beds were very comfy, and the bedding/bathroom linen was great. Lots of room to hang up clothes and there is a safe as well. Area was quiet, and windows were double glazed so most nights were very quiet. The location is great, loads of cafes and restaurants around. And Urgell station is super close. Good stay overall.

Lovely hotel in walking distance of all main sights. Rooms were spotless and a nice size with lots of storage space. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only minor point was that breakfast was a bit disorganised which meant having to wait for cutlery, butter etc at times.

This hotel has been remodeled beautifully, very close to La Rambla; Plaza Espana; metro and city Center. Very good Breakfast with a wonderful hostess Cristina. Manager Juan Carlos, very helpful and nice. Rooms are small but clean, bathroom very nice.

Rooms that had windows towards diputaccio street are noisy. Breakfast doesn't have so good quality, towels smelled weird. Personnel were really nice, 3 of 4 spoke really good english. Location in Barcelona was good

Very close to metro station and Airport buses. Near the city center. You can go many places by walking. Tidy rooms. A bit small but cleaning is good. Breakfast is adequate. Price is very reasonable. Staff is very helpful. Advicable.

situated between La Ramblas and Placa D,espanya within walking distance of most places of interest. the staff spoke good english and were able to book online some venues we wanted like Parc Guell and Sagrada Familia both of which you have to book entry times. they also advised us on a visit to Montserrat

The hotel has the potential to be a cheap awesome place to stay in Barcelona. When we first arrived, it was early in the morning, so they kept our bags for us for later when we could check in. That was great. When we finally checked in at a later time, we asked what time breakfast was, anticipating early enough before our flight. The guy (I regret not getting his name) said that breakfast was at 7:30. We had paid for breakfast to be included, but would be left before 7:30 as we had an early flight to London the next morning. The guy at the front desk said "Well, that's not my problem that you weren't smart enough to look that up before paying"....rude.. So we go up to the room and it is super stuffy. It was 20 degrees Celsius that day in Barcelona, although considered "winter". We were heading out to pick up some bananas for the morning, and decided to ask the same guy if there was a fan that we could have for our room. We have requested this at other hotels in the past and have either been given a fan or told sorry they don't have any. This guy insisted on being rude again. He looked at us like we were stupid and said "It's winter." Then shrugged and said "2 star hotel"... that was it...that was the response. The next morning when we were checking out, we told the guy on the front desk about our horrible experience the night before. He apologized and explained that during the winter they have heat, and during the summer they have air conditioning. That must have been what the guy had meant by "it's winter" comment. Still, I believe there is a way to treat people when they are staying at your hotel, and it's with respect. Just be nice to people and this hotel would have received higher rating from me. It was a nice hotel. Clean. The shower had great water pressure. Location was great (close to a subway). But the guy on the front desk just ruined this hotel for me.
