Before arriving to the hotel we were quite skeptical due to the mixed reviews, the hotel was located in a usual area right next to the motorway, making it easier to get there by car, however we walked it, to and from the train station everyday at first it was quiet scary however once you get used it totally fine and a common thing there. Other than that it is in a beautiful town with nice restaurant and bars with EXTREMELY cheap prices, the hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Would recommend going there if you have a car as it is slightly easier, however walking is completely do able.
We stayed there for 3 nights and I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. The room was clean and cozy. A kettle with coffee and tea in room was a really nice touch. Breakfast was great, we were stuffed every morning. Right next to hotel is a big shopping mall where you can buy all you need. The hotel is pretty far from city center (15 km), but it's actually a nice change being in a quiet place after a day in crowdy Barcelona. Thank you guys from Campanile Barcelona Norte, I had a really great time.
Superb helpful staff, cheap friendly hotel nothing is to much of a effort, always manage to do a late checkout for our guys who don't start work until well in the evening. We always use this place good beer and food at a reasonable price.
The hotel is an open door for robbery! We were a group of chessplayers (25 people) playing in the chess tournament not far from this hotel. We had to stay there for 10 days. But we regret a lot! We were given papers for breakfast to be checked before we enter to the restaurant. But robbers entered to restaurant and tried to steal some other people's bag there and nobody checked them! So after some time the professional robbers stole my bag in the hotel with passports, money of the kids and other important belongings in the bag! Everyone can enter to the hotel and try to robber for a long time. And the staff will not even check who are the strangers, who does not stay at the hotel. The staff was not going to watch the video recordings of the hotel and define who is the rubber unless we did not call to the police station. So they don't prevent rubbers by checking people, and even tried to hide the case by ignoring us. Air conditioner is not working normally, many insects in the rooms. Breakfast is poor. The hotel is located next to the highway which makes it too loudy.
right next to the highway, very noisy - the traffic never stops. There was this odd smell which resembled to cigarettes, bed was OK, bathroom weird - no toilete brush (!?), Internet exists but it never worked properly. Breakfast had wide selection of food so that was fine.
This is a good spot to stay if you are travelling with a car, but horrible if you are not. Too far away from the center of the city and any place in Barcelona you are interested in visiting while staying there. Takes a train ride to come to the plaza Catalunya, but the problem is you even need to take a bus to come to the train station itself. We both love exploring so I don't mind staying outside from the center of the city but in a hotel that has a connection with the public transport at least. And this one does not. I would visit Barcelona again anytime, but wouldn't stay here again. So I recommend this hotel only if you have a car. In that case it is close for the main motorway to the Barcelona is right next to it, and it has a lot of parking space. Breakfast was good. People at the reception seemed nice.
There was lot of noise as the rooms are not very well done, so you can hear even when someone is sniffing. No internet although they say it's working. Poor view (on the highway). Not recommended to stay. There is no value for money!!!! Look for something else.
Clean bed and towels, OK room cleaning. Stuff in general almost friendly. Good price comparing to Barcelona. Book it if you are by car or bus. Forget about Internet via free WiFi - it simply does not work. But they sell on reception gigabytes via rented mobile router. :))
I had a package holiday to Barcelona Madrid and Portugal and our first stop was this hotel. Before my flight i insisted on my travel agency to change this hotel but what a shame they didn't change it. Actually we can't call it as a hotel, it is a motel. The staff isn't gentle and not much helpful. You ask for an empty glass or a pen and they behave you as if you will steal it. I can't even describe how uncomfortable and small are the rooms. The furniture was old there was hair and dust on the floor as well :(( One good thing was the bath. The hotel was not close to Barcelona, they told us to get a bus then take the train. We preferred to take a taxi as it was too hot and we had limited time. It took 70 euros return and one way around33€. I DONOT recommend this hotel to anyone and it has been 6 weeks still waiting an excuse from our travel agency Jolly Tour that they made us stay in a hotel like that
This hotel is not suitable for anyone going into downtown Barcelona unless you have a car. You have to take a bus (runs every hour) cost $2.15 E to get to the train station (no buses run on Sunday and holidays) Taxis are almost non existent especially Sundays and holidays. It is 10 Euros by taxi from hotel to train station. Train is $2.50 E You cannot walk to train station as you have to cross a freeway, you have to take a taxi or bus to get anywhere. I was stranded twice and almost in tears until a good Samaritan who spoke English helped me. The hotel room was so hot I could not sleep and they said they don't turn the air con on until June. I asked for a fan, also non-existent. The beds were hard. I would never stay there again and will tell anyone I know not to as well. It ruined my trip to Barcelona as it was so stressful to get into downtown Barcelona, I only went one day and then hung out near the hotel for my last day.
