Staff was friendly and professional but one staff member the bartender Shin really went above and beyond customer service. He really made our trip enjoyable and fun. Thank you for all you generous help and thank you The Soco Hotel family.

The property was very clean. However if you are looking for the standard All-Inclusive experience this is not it!!! There is one small cafe style restaurant on site and the kitchen staff is on site only for breakfast lunch and dinner. You can’t get anything after 8:00p. There is NOT a spa on site so I was highly disappointed in this considering this was part of my plans on my agenda during my stay. I do feel Orbitz advertising was false on this one

The staff often personalize the atmosphere at the hotel, with greetings by name. They were very warm and welcoming from the point of sign in to checkout. Michelle at the restaurant, was a trove of information throughout our stay, offering tips on places to visit citing both local and tourist oriented venues. She geared our site seeing around our interest, not necessarily what the majority of tourist would like to see. This is a small (24 rooms) boutique hotel, but with an ocean view, restaurant, pool and beach that match many other name recognized brands.

This hotel had exactly what my wife and I needed. It was a small, intimate, setting. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay there again.

This place is literally a little gem located right on the beach! Super cute hotel, good location (on the boardwalk too), and the sea is lovely. I didn't meet one staff member that didn't want to go above and beyond for us during our stay. The only thing that was mediocre was the food. Limited daily options and it could be better. Don't let that deter you from choosing this place though!

The service was amazing! Very accommodating. Being a Vegan, Michelle the concierge made sure to make my eating experience the best possible. She went above and beyond her responsibilities. I had options, through-out my stay.

The hotel staff are awesome and they really helped you get the best out of Barbados!

The Soco hotel is a boutique " all inclusive ". All inclusive in my opinion should be changed to " with standard meals". The restaurants food was pretty good however the menu didn't change at all during our 4 day stay. Be aware that if you do not eat during breakfast, lunch, or dinner hours then there is literally nothing to eat. There is no snacks or food stand that opens during off hours. When you arrive in your room, which is actually pretty nice, there is no bottled water/soda/chips/chocolate or any other standard all inclusive items you normally would receive. All of this must be purchased and no store on sight ( short 6 blocks away ). The all inclusive bar charges for bottled water and does not have any half decent alcohol. Most of the staff were very nice however me and my fiancé found the service to be lacking. With only a handful of guests, someone should come to the very small beach area and offer drinks ( did not happen once ). The Soco beach access is directly next to a public entrance and is definitely not a private beach. We had a 20 person kids birthday party our first day on the beach so calling the beach Adults Only would not be accurate. The boardwalk is very nice and starts at the hotel. Hastings is definitely underdeveloped and wasn't much to do on the walk. The beaches at the far end of the boardwalk were actually much more stunning ( blue water and no rocks ). We had zero seaweed issues which was a concern. This is a place to relax and be left alone.

It was great and awesome time, every room with ocean view, friendly staff: greatings to Michelle and Tamy. Chef at Gazebo Restaurant is excellent: tuna, sirloin steak, pastas were great and very tasty. Cocktails at the pool bar excellent too. We spend ten nights and felt like at home: friendly, staff take care about us all the time. Chairs and umbrella are included, but remember all beaches are public, young adolescents can be tedious and unpleasant, especially for single women left unattended for a moment.

Perfect location, every room has an ocean view, the pool is small but it's fine since there aren't many guests staying with only 24 rooms (when I say small I mean you're not going to be doing laps, but its perfect sized for hanging out in and cooling off). The beach is nice because there aren't many waves and there's a little area blocked by rocks so you have a little tide pool. The food was great, the drinks were great, the staff was so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are big enough, plus there's a little couch in the room too. Some things needed updating (our bathroom door didn't lock, the shower knob was broken so a few times there was some panic that the water wouldn't turn off, and there was makeup spilled on the sink from the last guest) but all in all that was no big deal. It's a walk up, so be prepared to get your leg workout in. Overall, loved it and would definitely go back!

The staff was great. I had the chance to get to know them personally during my 5 day stay and I miss them. I wish them the best of luck! My only suggestion is to freshen up the paint outside of the balcony.

The hotel is great, staffs are wonderful, peaceful, great food, everything was excellent

We live in Barbados and had decided on a quick staycation choosing Soco as one of many options. Sadly, there was a mess up at check in, so we waited by the pool for 2 hours before we got our rooms, but we were upgraded for our wait. Nice gesture. It wasn’t really that tough to hang out at the pool as we had drinks and watched the waves. Once settled in, we discovered a very enjoyable little boutique hotel with lots of good meals and attentive staff.

Friendly staff...great, comfortable room with up to date features looking out at the ocean...hard to beat that! Food wad better than I expected for a place where it is included...it was sit down, not buffet...which was nice.
