Room on 2nd floor by pool very noisy no privacy. Air conditioner very loud. Changed room to 7th floor was much better. Great location and view and clean. Housekeeping staff very good. However hotel needs more renevations especially in bathrooms. Staff was amazing especially front desk- in particular, I think her name was Gabriella, she was outstanding. All staff very helpful, friendly and professional. Enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful staff and excellent access to the beach on property. Highly recommend for the best location in Barbados.

A very nice hotel with one of the nicest beaches accessible. The room was very spacious and clean, and everything in excellent condition. Reception was always helpful and kind. Internet service would occasionally slow down but nothing to fret much over, as it was mostly good and the WiFi range covered very far. The restaurant is what I didn't exactly love much. The food was okay, but pricey, most likely because of its awesome location right at the heart of the beach. But birds often flew in to pick at food, and some of the waitresses were not among the friendliest. Nevertheless, I would stay again in this hotel and recommend it to anyone.

I really raccomend this hotel cause is close to the beach, the sea in this side of the island is pretty calm and the water so clear you can see the fish swimming!we certainly will return to this hotel because it was a nice stay!

Excellent location to access commute. Beautiful beach, much better than Hilton. Could improve on food. Limited

It is well located in what it can be the best beach area in Barbados, Carlisle Bay, the hotel itself is well kept, the staff are very friendly, and the food is tasty. The front desk is very helpful, and the cooking staff - including Margaret, the chef who is at the omelette station - is very professional, too. The new business area is a plus in these vacation only hotels, and the internet is very solid at all times. The hotel is going under some well deserve updates, and the sound may be annoying at times but not during quiet times. It is closed to historical sites and to downtown, it has plenty of walk-able areas and it s very safe and children friendly, too. Overall the experience was very good, and this was my third time in this hotel.

Didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Excellent beach access to a lovely calm beautiful beach. Breakfast was overpriced but was nice. Room was clean, modern and had an amazing partial view of the beach and hilly interior of the island. What absolutely recommend to others!

Pros - located on a great strip of beach, cross under the restaurant for the longer/better part. Nice open air lobby. Cons - tiny pool. Hotel overall a bit on the outdated side.

The hotel was great! The staff were so welcoming and made us feel at home. We came went to Barbados on vacation and will definitely return. There is a shack around the corner where this man makes Fish sandwiches. You have to give it a try. It is delish!

Ocean front rooms had a balcony on both sides of the room (one overlooking the pool area and the other the beach). Beautiful views. Went next door to Cuz's fish shack every day for an amazing sandwich and beer. Water was perfect - good for swimming and going out for watersports. Staff was very helpful. Walked up the hill to the Hilton and was happy we opted for the Radisson - much better beach.

The Radisson hotel was nice enough. Clean rooms, directly on the beach. Probably a little more pricey than an average hotel should be. The Crown Jewel for me was the customer service received from everyone. From the staff in the restaurant, the housekeeper, the Bell Boy and the front desk staff everyone seemed ready to go beyond. I'd like to acknowledge Regina & Ishia in particular. They made the impossible possible on my vacation.

The hotel is located in the Carsille Bay, a great beach with crystal clear water and clean beaches. Staff are awesome! Walking distance to Bridgetown to the north west and other town center to the south east!

The room and services are average. Beach is nice but small. Food is awful and overpriced, same in the restaurants within walking distance. You need to take a local bus ($2 /person) to go to the Lantern mall and Accra Resort area with better restaurants. If you are willing to pay a bit more, you will have much better experience at the nearby Hilton or Accra Resorts.

Great location right on beach walk to restaurants. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The beach is small and quiet watch horeses swim in early morning. A must stay in Barbados.

I've been to many Islands and always look for clean rooms and friendly staff I found both here and would go again....

Everything about this hotel were great. Location wise it will take 15min to get to any leisure place. Staffs were very kind. Private beach was very comfy and quite. Only thing tjat concerned me was the pricey food menus. Breakfast buffet costs about 30 us dollars per person. And lunch costs about 20-25 us dollars with okay taste. I would recommend to have meal outside hotel. Otherwise, it was very pleasure experience.

Good stay, staff was friendly. The each is awesome

I was very impressed with the hotel - totally renovated and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful - beyond any expectations. They even left a special treat in my room after learning it was my birthday! Beautiful beach right outside - can't ask for a better location. Very happy, all around.

So the hotel is not really a resort. It is a hotel. They have a "restaurant" which is on the pier that is is way over priced. The restaurant has 2 menus. The staff will hand you the "regular" menu which is their attempt at asain fusion. But, if you simply ask, then they will give you a "snack menu" that has a totally different flavor but is still over priced. If you are hoping to get a King bed, then you will want to call the hotel directly. The beach is absolutely incredible! Do not bother with the beach at the Hilton. Carlisle Bay has some of the best sand in the Carribean. Just be sure to bring your own snorkel and fins so that you can swim with the sea turtles on your own. Not sure if it was the slow season or what, but the hotel did not have many other ammenities available that you would expect to find at a resort. AGAIN, this is not a resort. But the location, incredibly friendly staff, and picturesk beach makes this a good choice.

living in new york city, my friends & i were not used to the slow-chill tempo of the people in barbados -- basically, the wait time for everything is LONG compared to everything in NY. but that's just a lifestyle difference.. other than that little adjustment we had to do, i can't help but rave about the location of the hotel. it's just absolutely amazing! the water is sparkling, i mean SPARKLING, clean - especially when the sun is out and shining, you see all shades of blue in one view. the sun rises around 5:30am and if you wake up early enough, you can see people bathing horses in the water. when we checked in, they gave us complimentary rum punch or fruit punch ( i had rum punch which was strong! ). however, the down-side was that for some reason, they made us wait TWO hours to go up to our rooms because they were not ready yet.. I still don't know what happened but the manager gave us the top floor room that gave us the view of the whole ocean and 5 complimentary drink cards. During the two hour wait, we went out to the water and tanned. Water activities can be easily accessible here. There is a place where you can rent paddle-board, boats, & kayaks right on the water. the paddle board is for an hour and we did so around 4;50pm since the sun sets around 5;30pm-- views were amazing. If you get hungry, you can literally walk a few minutes over to a local stand that sells the most amazing fish burgers. depending on the day and time, the wait can be very long as there is only one person who works there. I'm very happy about our decision on NOT staying at an all-inclusive hotel or else we wouldn't have been able to experience all the delicious food outside of the resort! The elevators failed to work the 2 days out of 5 we stayed there. I don't know what was up with that but there were people fixing the elevators. What else? house cleaning always comes during the evening around 6;30pm and hands out hershey's chocolate =) As for breakfast, we had free breakfast at the hotel which ran from 5:30AM to 10:30AM. I recommend getting the omelettes. The breath-taking view of the ocean while we ate could not get any better. Overall, the hotel was very nice for the price. by the way, i researched the weather in barbados before coming and was worried since it is technically end of hurricane season.... wow, i worried for no reason. the weather was beauuuutiful! seriously, the sun was HOT the first 2 days. the 3rd day it did rain for a bit but after like 10 minutes, the sun was out and about again .. really strong. i strongly recommend traveling during this time (early november).
