Pre and post cruise stay in Barbados. Staff was exceptional and very welcoming. Loved the location.

We like a certain amount of luxury and pampering in our travel and we were expecting that at this Radisson. It was not to be. It is a relatively small property, not too many facilities, starting to get a little shabby in all of the right spots. Room was a bit cramped and fairly basic. It does have a very nice beach (Carlisle Bay) but it is relatively small and the location is not convenient -- nothing really close enough to walk to, away from the beauty and luxury of the northern western side of the island and away from the really nice beaches a bit south. Staff were very nice (bartender Adrian and poolman Shane were especially great), there is good snorkeling right next to the hotel and the rates were acceptable (except of course for breakfast, quire expensive for what you get)

I enjoyed my stay. Not much pool area. Lots of beach.

You will love the beach it is spectacular. The Rooms were updated and very clean however the property is showing it's age. The air conditioners were extremely noisy (we had 2 different rooms as we stayed pre and post cruise). The restaurant served great food and service was good but allow significant time to dine as all three meals we ate there took several hours. True ocean front experience as every room had a wonderful view.

I booked a 9 day stay at the Radisson Aquatica Resort. I ran the Barbados Half Marathon and the start/end location was a 5 minute walk from the Resort. Aside from that convenience, the resort and my room were very clean, the food was fantastic, but a bit pricey and the beach was sublime. The staff were amazing, they were very friendly, always greeted me with a smile and always willing to help. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely recommend it and stay again next time around.

Everything was absolutely incredible. The hotel is right on the beach and the beach is amazing. But the staff makes you feel so welcome and so special. They remember your name, they exude true customer service! I can't wait to return

Good if you want to be by the nicest beach on the island, the restaurant is not only extremely overpriced, but it is always empty. Stayed for 9 nights and even on a Saturday night there were no diners. A coke will cost you $7, and a cocktail $22, compared to the average price of $15 anywhere else on the island. Beware, hear place to just sleep and enjoy the beach, but not much else.

Room on 2nd floor by pool very noisy no privacy. Air conditioner very loud. Changed room to 7th floor was much better. Great location and view and clean. Housekeeping staff very good. However hotel needs more renevations especially in bathrooms. Staff was amazing especially front desk- in particular, I think her name was Gabriella, she was outstanding. All staff very helpful, friendly and professional. Enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful staff and excellent access to the beach on property. Highly recommend for the best location in Barbados.

A very nice hotel with one of the nicest beaches accessible. The room was very spacious and clean, and everything in excellent condition. Reception was always helpful and kind. Internet service would occasionally slow down but nothing to fret much over, as it was mostly good and the WiFi range covered very far. The restaurant is what I didn't exactly love much. The food was okay, but pricey, most likely because of its awesome location right at the heart of the beach. But birds often flew in to pick at food, and some of the waitresses were not among the friendliest. Nevertheless, I would stay again in this hotel and recommend it to anyone.

I really raccomend this hotel cause is close to the beach, the sea in this side of the island is pretty calm and the water so clear you can see the fish swimming!we certainly will return to this hotel because it was a nice stay!

Excellent location to access commute. Beautiful beach, much better than Hilton. Could improve on food. Limited

It is well located in what it can be the best beach area in Barbados, Carlisle Bay, the hotel itself is well kept, the staff are very friendly, and the food is tasty. The front desk is very helpful, and the cooking staff - including Margaret, the chef who is at the omelette station - is very professional, too. The new business area is a plus in these vacation only hotels, and the internet is very solid at all times. The hotel is going under some well deserve updates, and the sound may be annoying at times but not during quiet times. It is closed to historical sites and to downtown, it has plenty of walk-able areas and it s very safe and children friendly, too. Overall the experience was very good, and this was my third time in this hotel.

Didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Excellent beach access to a lovely calm beautiful beach. Breakfast was overpriced but was nice. Room was clean, modern and had an amazing partial view of the beach and hilly interior of the island. What absolutely recommend to others!

Pros - located on a great strip of beach, cross under the restaurant for the longer/better part. Nice open air lobby. Cons - tiny pool. Hotel overall a bit on the outdated side.

The hotel was great! The staff were so welcoming and made us feel at home. We came went to Barbados on vacation and will definitely return. There is a shack around the corner where this man makes Fish sandwiches. You have to give it a try. It is delish!

Ocean front rooms had a balcony on both sides of the room (one overlooking the pool area and the other the beach). Beautiful views. Went next door to Cuz's fish shack every day for an amazing sandwich and beer. Water was perfect - good for swimming and going out for watersports. Staff was very helpful. Walked up the hill to the Hilton and was happy we opted for the Radisson - much better beach.

The Radisson hotel was nice enough. Clean rooms, directly on the beach. Probably a little more pricey than an average hotel should be. The Crown Jewel for me was the customer service received from everyone. From the staff in the restaurant, the housekeeper, the Bell Boy and the front desk staff everyone seemed ready to go beyond. I'd like to acknowledge Regina & Ishia in particular. They made the impossible possible on my vacation.

The hotel is located in the Carsille Bay, a great beach with crystal clear water and clean beaches. Staff are awesome! Walking distance to Bridgetown to the north west and other town center to the south east!

The room and services are average. Beach is nice but small. Food is awful and overpriced, same in the restaurants within walking distance. You need to take a local bus ($2 /person) to go to the Lantern mall and Accra Resort area with better restaurants. If you are willing to pay a bit more, you will have much better experience at the nearby Hilton or Accra Resorts.
