Spent 2 weeks here with our 10 year old Grandson. We stayed in the Condominiums.. they were very nice. ... the hotel is a lovely size. Not much going on if you have children with you. Food was excellent as were the drinks. For us the area was too quiet...we stayed in St Laurence Gap ladt year and it was much better as there was a lot going on and only short zr bus rides to the best beaches. Had a fab time...staff were wonderful but would not go back as we prefer a little more lively area.

Had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful hotel from 26th march- 2 nd April , as part of a 2 week cruise and stay package , this being our 2nd week . Hotel and grounds very clean and well maintained , food really good , you do have to select a time for lunch and dinner , which you place at breakfast , but not a problem for us , we went as a party of four , to celebrate our respective anniversarys , but unfortunately one of our party fell ill on week 1 while on the cruise , and was admitted to hospital shortly after our arrival at the hotel . The manager Elizabeth and customs relation lady Marcia were absolutely fantastic , organizing a car and driver twice a day , every day to take my cousin backwards and forwards to the hospital , sometimes going with her , organizing packed lunch for her to take with her , letting her use their office to use the telephone and send e-mails and faxes to insurance company , a lot if the time dealing with them on her behalf , unfortunately my hubby and I had to come home and leave them there another week , but did so , in the knowledge they were well taken care of . Even the owner Mr Odell took time out to speak to us and offer assistance - lovely man . The day if our anniversary we had s table set for us with beautiful table cloth and confetti , and on return to our room , we had champagne waiting , lovely touch . This is a small hotel , but they certainly give the personal touch to their guests . We felt they almost treat you like one of the family when you have a crisis , like we did . For us , our predicament ruined our holiday for us a bit , but this is no reflection on the hotel , as I said in the title , Elizabeth and Marcia went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after , if you ladies are reading this , we thank you for all your hard work during our stay , your truly a credit to the hotel , so much so , we are looking g to come back next year

Had a wonderful holiday with family. Rooms were spacious, clean and very nice. Bed was very comfortable. Lovely towels changed daily. Staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. Beach was beautiful with plenty of comfy beds. Great beach facilities and plenty of free water sports. Food very good, not exceptional but very edible. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Just came back from 10 days at Mango Bay resort, the best experience, staff very friendly, lovely food, service immaculate, excellent facilities, bar tenders helpful... lovely beach with calm waters... will definitely be back... don't hesitate to book

Agree hotel is badly in need of a refurbishment, especially the bathrooms, we booked a Superior and I actually questioned if we had been taken to the right room, one good thing, they are clean! Second night small wedding at the hotel and the staff were pushed to their limit which impacted on hotel guests. We spoke to the manager, Elizabeth, and to her credit from the following morning on she had everything in hand, you could really tell the difference. Eighty people at son's wedding staying at different hotels, I still think we made the right choice of Mango Bay for the All Inclusive package which is excellent -obviously there is the drinks package inc cocktails etc., I however had concerns about the food as there is only one restuarant - i needn't have - hats off to the chef and team as the food was excellent, lunch time and evenings over a two week period. A big thank you for making our stay at the Mango Bay a memorable one, not only to Elizabeth, but to her staff in the restuarant, the bar and not forgetting the people serving drinks on the beach! Too many people to name, however Peter comes to mind, as we had a fantastic time on the catamaran celebrating in readiness for the wedding the following day. Must not forgot the evening entertainment - all good and Peter can even give a song as well!! This is a small friendly hotel, I do give Elizabeth and the staff of Mango Bay - Five Stars!!

We stayed here last week from the 2nd-9th April, and for a luxury barbados holiday hotel we were extremely disappointed. We booked a double room with garden view and balcony/terrace but were disgusted to find when we arrived at room 410, not only was the room sub-standard, the location is terrible. Inside we found the room to be very tired, outdated, dirty and could even see out of the french doors due to the age of them (see photo). This room has been overused with the facilities struggling, the door could not even lock. Outside the front door (see photo) we overlooked the local karaoke bar, which obviously was a noisy venue until 4am sunday night. Although we understand that this is outside the control of the hotel, the management were not accommodating to any of our concerns or discussions. This is obviously a major issue for this area of the hotel, it really is a hotel of two halves. The front is lovely however if you want to upgrade it comes at a steep price, which is unacceptable when you have already paid good money in my opinion. We have stayed at 4 hotels over the last view years on this beautiful island, however Mango Bay is definitely one not to revisit. Hope this is helpful to anyone thinking about this hotel.

The last time we stayed here was in 2012. It was great then and it's even better now. All inclusive at it says-meaning everything from water skiing to cocktails (mostly rum sours if you're asking). The thing that makes this hotel really stand out is the staff. They are all exceptional, caring and lovely people - whoever chose them has done a great job! Perhaps I haven't been to enough places, but I've never heard the Maitre D' saying "Walk with me" rather than the usual. Can't get over it! It's great that the hotel are trying to deal with the plastic and rubbish problem that is prevalent in the Carribean, But isn't it up to each one of us to make sure we clean up after us? Just a thought.

Had the most amazing two weeks at this hotel. From the moment we arrived we were treated superbly by everyone. As some reviews say the hotel is slightly dated but nevertheless it is spotlessly clean, the food is very good and all the lads at the bar are first class. Make sure you wear correct clothes for meal times though because I did get asked to change my shirt but rules are rules and that's why the hotel is kept at a high standard. We would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back again. Well done to all involved.

This is truly a lovely privately owned hotel right on the beach and near the centre of Holetown. If you like small hotels not run by the big operators then this is a definite one to think about. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was well appointed if a little tired. We were on the beach side overlooking the sea in the block attached to reception. There is a separate block to the rear overlooking the pool which I suspect is less desirable. The all inclusive at the moment with exchange rates was a godsend and avoids that end of holiday sinking feeling when you get the extras bill. Meals were very good, but inevitably reflect the all inclusive nature, but there are plenty of eating out alternatives in the area although it's not cheap. On the negative side. Wifi was terrible, so if you want to do some work there, it's restricting. There seem to be a lot of cheap package tours run to the hotel - it's not very exclusive despite its looks when you arrive at reception. Probably better outside of school holidays. I would go back

We have just returned from a 10 day stay and did not want to leave! Had a very lovely break and our superior room just as we hoped. Very clean and comfortable. Also no mosquitoes! Normally get bitten but not here! Food was excellent service excellent location excellent! Will be going back! A very special place. However beware the run punch! More than one at your own peril! We are a family with daughters in early 20's and they loved it as much as we did! Walks down the beach , snorkel in gorgeous clear water protected reef with amazing fish! Suited all of us equally.
