We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Coral Sands, there was 11 of us celebrating my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary. The Hotel is situated on a fabulous beach in Worthing and has many amenities close by including banks, supermarkets, restaurants and beach bars, the rooms at the Hotel all have fabulous sea views and two large beds, plus a kitchenette and are spotlessly clean. The Hotel staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful and they organised wonderful flowers and fruit basket for my parents anniversary.Thank you Coral Sands,we have booked for next April, can’t wait!!!!!

We have been visiting Barbados for many years and have stayed in various hotels / apmts on the south coast. However, this was our first visit to Coral Sands. What a pleasant surprise. We loved every minute of it. The pool and surrounds were spotless. Access to the beach was easy and the sea is calm compared to many other south coast hotels. Rooms are more spacious and brighter than other apartment / hotels in the area. Staff friendly and unobtrusive which is how we like it. Great to re-establish contact with Nikki behind the bar. We remember her from the good old days when the Casuarina Beach Club was in operation. Thanks for a fantastic stay and we will definitely see you again.

We ( me, husband and 2.5 yr old) stayed at Coral Sands for 1 week. We loved everything about it! The staff was wonderful, the rooms were super comfortable, with a fantastic view and clean, the pool very nice. The food at the hotel restaurant was ok, a bit expensive for what you get, BUT, if you walk down the beach, in less than 5 min you have a local family restaurant/bar. Thats where we ate every meal. I would stay at Coral Sands again.

We have not even arrived and everyone at Coral Sands Beach Resort has already been so helpful. Special thanks to Rosemarie Stoute! Requested high floor room - no problem. Pre-arrival grocery pack. DVD player organised. Thanks!

Came here for a 10 day break and loved it. In terms of location it's great, lovely beach, beautiful ocean view from the room, quick walk to St Lawrence Gap and really easy to pick up the local mini bus/taxis from the main road. 15 mins from airport and 10 mins from Oistins in a car. The rooms are kept very clean and are really big with good facilities to self cater for meals which you can then enjoy on the balcony looking at the waves. Pool area is nice, doesn't get too crowded as it is only a small complex so nice and peaceful and they supply free beach beds to take down for relaxing on the beach. Clean beach towels every day, friendly staff and a nice pool bar serving till 7pm. Would definitely stay again, we loved our stay and didn't want to go home! Great value for money, definitely worth a visit. Thanks Coral Sands!

We just returned a few days ago from Coral Sands Beach Resort. I wasn't impress at first when taxi turned into the narrow lane toward to the hotel was not what I expect! Check in was okay but nothing warm welcome etc then we went into the room... it is a big room with little dated decor but clean. Beds are comfortable and kitchenette is useful, plenty storages and double sinks in bathroom which I like. Seaview from the balcony is lovely. We didn't eat at hotel so no comment on that but hear from other guests was only okay. Pool is small but the beach is a real deal, only a few yards away from hotel with fine white sands. We swam every morning; really enjoyed the quietness but it's a low season so not sure how busy in high seasons. The crystal clear water and the reef nearby is great for swimming and snorkeling. In fact, it was my favourite part of holiday. Really lovely to able to swim with turtles and fishes. I'd say the beach is a real asset of the hotel. If you just want a simple place to stay, I'd recommend it.

This boutique resort is by far a little gem. Rooms are cleaned to a very high standard. Staff are very personable and friendly and do anything to help and assist. Beach is beautiful and Turtles nest and swim past daily. For a relaxing vacation this is a must. No hassle what so ever. Without a doubt, the best place I have ever stayed in the Caribbean. Look no further. Right on the main road to anywhere, 10 mins walk to St Lawrence Gap, catch a Reggae bus or Regular Service Bus right outside 2 BSD anywhere. Good location got many local restaurants close by and reasonably price. Convenience Store on high road, you can get anything for breakfast, alcohol, etc.

My husband and I frequent Barbadoes at least once a year. This year we decided to search for a better hotel then where we stayed in the past. After checking the reviews we decided to go with Coral Sands. We could not have picked a nicer hotel. It not a large venue with amenities but Very clean, very spacious, spectacular water view -beach access and extremely economical. I love the fully equipped kitchenette.

I won't go over the same points as other reviews but will agree with everything they say about rooms, cleanliness, staff etc - first class! Instead, I'll add my views on location which are equally important and worth knowing if you're considering staying here (which you absolutely won't regret!). We like to stay in places that feel secluded and have that element of total relaxation, after all we work full time, have a great family; grown up kids and small grandkids which although we love dearly, means we rarely get time to chill out and just 'be us'! This place has allowed us to chill to the max! But, we also like to stroll out to a local shop or two and have restaurants/takeaways close by. We're not big on fine dining but having the options there is a bonus. So, a 1 min walk takes you to a small convenience store where you can pick up everything you need and is good for an afternoon ice cream or cold beer. Across the road from the store is the Chicken Barn which is like a KFC from the 70's! Highly recommend the chicken sandwich which is made from sliced up rotisserie chicken with salad and a sauce which is devine and costs $10bd or £3.30. Next door is a Steakhouse which looks like an American ranch and has a slots/gaming/casino area at the back. Food here is typical burgers, steaks etc and was ok and prices £10 - £15 for a main. We had a snack one afternoon and a beer and watched the world go by. They are open 24/7 too! A few doors down is a pita place (imagine a dated subway type shop) and the 'Lemongrass Express' which we didn't go to either but there are plenty of options. At the end of the driveway, turning right will take you to the St Lawrence Gap turn off and strip, about a 7 min walk. Here, there are great restaurants including some fine dining options and street food vans after 8ish. Lively as you want it to be or cosy and chic - your choice. Turning left at the end of the hotel driveway takes you to a large supermarket - about a 3 min walk. Turn right at the lights and during the day you'll see a street food stand and a dear old lady who does some amazing local food - try it! Carry on up that road and you'll come across Massy Stores - equivalent to our Asda/Morrisons and has a hot food counter which all the locals use and attracts large queues. Between us on two occasions we had macaroni pie, stuffing, sweet potato pie, rice & pies, veg, beef stew with a small side of bajun sauce...OMG, stunning! Per box, about £3-5 depending on your choices. The petrol station at the lights also has a hot counter and focuses on takeaway food, both hot and cold so worth a look for local type foods. Beaches....your very own is hard to beat to be honest. But, Accra beach is 4 mins away on a reggae bus in the left direction at the end of the driveway ($2, 60p) and is pretty spectacular. Look up Accra beach webcam and see for yourself, also handy to view the weather vs what forecasts report! If we'd had the grandkids, this beach would have been perfect as the southern end had the tiki bar and a calm stretch of water due to some rocks which allowed kids to swim safely and without too many waves. Kids were also crabbing around the rocks too. If you pay the $60 for two sun beds and umbrella, Tiki give you a $60 voucher to spend which will cover your lunch so kind of free beds really. Across the road from this beach is an abundance of eateries and shops including an open air 'just grillin'. Friday nights you have to go to Oistins fish fry. Locals and tourists alike enjoying music, a few drinks and good local food stalls. Again, jump on a reggae bus outside in the hotel for $2bd (go right) and it'll take you there in about 10 mins. Anyway, loads more to do and see but for the purpose of this review, just wanted to give some focus on the location of Coral Sands and what's around as this was lacking when I was looking for info on here before booking up. If you haven't booked, do it you won't be disappointed. Superb hotel, room facilities are second to none...they have thought of everything! Beds were the most comfortable we've ever had (and we've done plenty of 5 star hotels in Vietnam, Mexico etc) We will be back and hope they don't change a thing.

Could almost miss the turning from the main road, but once car descends on forecourt, you know why....quiet, peaceful, beautiful. ..the tranquility begins! The welcome was cordial, relaxing. Hotel room was absolute solitary BLISS! The view is breathtaking. To hear the sway of leave on Palm trees and lap of waves on shore - paradise. Lovely, spacious hotel room, with all necessary amenities. Brilliant microwave! Supermarket is across the road, as well as department store for souvenirs and ATM machine. Also lots of restaurants. Very good transport location to get bus/van into town. Will definitely stay again.
