it was and older motel that was well kept. great location

Great facilities and beautiful beach. The food was good but service at the restaurant is slow.

My stay was fantastic. I would recommend the hotel..

This was our third visit to the Bougainvillea. We were upgraded on arrival from a studio to a 1 bedroom deluxe, which was spacious and beautiful, with a view of the pool and the ocean. We breakfasted on our balcony each morning, and listened to music from the pool deck each evening, all from the comfort of our room. The location is very convenient, and the hotel is quiet and peaceful. A hidden treasure with a nice long beach for walking on.

The hotel was very good. We really chose a horrible time to go, however. It rained every single day we were there!

Wonderful view of the sea from the room and balcony, the hotel has two pools, one with a swim up bar and is steps away onto the beach. The food and drink were a good standard and the rooms although a little old fashioned had everything you needed , including microwave and fridge. They we're clean and comfortable. Spent many morning on the balcony with my coffee and a book, very restful.

We were only here for 2 nights but had a great time. There are always taxis in front of the resort for your convenience and you can go to St Lawrence Gap round trip for $20 USD (great value compared to the taxi prices at the island we stayed at previously). We felt the prices for the alcoholic drinks were great & the bartenders were very friendly. We only ate breakfast at the resort so can't comment too much on food, although breakfast was good & served quickly. The rooms might be a bit "dated" but it felt very Caribbean, we enjoyed ours. We picked this resort for the beach & proximity to St Lawrence Gap & the airport. There were plenty of options for dining around, but of course we went to Oistins on Friday & had a great time. Unfortunately the water was too rough to really swim/snorkel in during our short stay but it did look gorgeous- white sand & clear waters.

Beautiful clean room with kitchen and an outdoor balcony with a good view of the grounds and Caribbean Sea. There's also a cool fitness area work out room and game room with a T.V. pool table, Ping Pong and Air Hockey. All staff members including security extremely helpful. My daughter and I stayed here and every meal we ate was DELICIOUS and reasonable price.

This hotel was quite fabulous in many different ways! First of all the location is terrific - close to terrific bars and restaurants in St. Lawrence Gap as well as close to Oistin's for the Fish Fry. It has a magnificent beach and very, very friendly people.

Excellent gym facilities which was a huge plus for us coupled with beautiful scenery and ambiance made our stay comforting and enjoyable. Jose at the pool bar is just a lovely fellow who will treat you like your the most important person in the world, can't say enough good things about him. The room was clean and had a gorgeous view of the beach and the pool area- really lovely to hear the crashing of the waves every morning as we woke up to start our day. The management was rude, disrespectful and hurtful toward myself and my wife- they stated "you're not out type of guest" I've never been so insulted in my life. Thankfully Jose and the rest of the staff did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. They saved the day.

Great place to go for vacation. My wife and I had a bad experience in a resort in another country, and this was much better all around. Food was average but only about a 20 minute walk to the gap if you wanted something fancier. Beautiful views and staff very friendly to accommodate any needs you may have on the beach, without being pushy. All in all a great place!

The staff was great, front desk welcome cocktail, check in, waitstaff and bar service ( especially Jose!) all top notch.

Overall this is an excellent place to stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure the guests ‎were comfortable. My husband and I stayed for 5 days and would definitely stay again. We ate at the hotel ‎several times and the food was pretty good. Overall it was a very good experience. The outside ‎was absolutely beautiful! Our room was right off the beach – yes ocean view. It was clean and ‎comfortable. Bottom line, an elegant, quiet, beautiful property with service to match.‎ Im ready to go back!! :)

This resort has incredible landscaping with Bougainvillea flowers abd multiple pools for adults and kids.Beautful large room with high cealing. Restaurant expencive, but we had greate kitchen with everything you need to cook. Fish market 10 min away with huge choice of different kind of fish and fresh vegetables, very cheap.

Just returned from 5 nights at Bougainvilla Beach resort. Good things: Very nice grounds, beach and staff. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Every night there was some sort of free entertainment until 10:00. We stayed in a one bedroom unit which was rather spacious. Loved the large balcony which had a dining table and chairs, as well as lounge chairs. Hotel is a 5 minute taxi ride to the St Lawrence Gap which had lots of good restaurants. We hired one of the regular taxi drivers at the hotel to take us on an island tour which was really nice. Not so good things: The bed was hard as a rock. We did ask for some extra padding, but it didn't help all that much. The couches in the living room were extremely uncomfortable. Very little water pressure when taking a shower and there was a sewage smell coming from the toilet.

Wonderful! I would defnitely come back for another stay!

Great pool with swim-bar and fantastic beach. Not fancy or newly updated rooms but very clean and comfortable.

Not a place for single travelers. Entertainment was there only 2 nights, a little slow and boring. Beach wasn’t that great, water was not calm, big waves, dangerous to swim. Better beach location by Lawrence’s Gap (few nice hotels there), there is beautiful lagoon with calm water, perfect for relaxing day and nice restaurants in the area. We walked there every day.

The 6 day trip was everything one could expect and MORE!!! Great staff / nice room and an even better location...Wonderful

Enjoyed the stay for a nice low-key vacation. Staff were very helpful and facilitated activities. 3 pool and 2 beach areas. One side was quieter than the other, which was a nice option. Restaurant was expensive - that was the only drawback.
