We were greater with complimentary rum punch at check-in. Most staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were thoroughly cleaned daily and restocked. Beds were comfortable, showers and AC worked well. Shops and restaurants are located across the street from hotel. Hotel restaurant was pricey. Chakra Spa was amazing!

The hotel is located conveniently. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We waited a very long time to get our room. We arrived and yes it was after check in time, and we were told our room would be ready in a few minutes . The few minutes turned in to many, many minutes to at least an hour or so; with many times of going to the front desk checking on our room and staff making calls; and finally personally going to check on the room then asking to give them some more minutes and eventually we were given a room. Also on a few days the room was not cleaned until very late (about 5:30 pm) and the person iworking or cleaning stated she was the only person working or cleaning that day when we really needed to get dressed for another activity and had no clean tiowels .

A wonderful experience, give a great feelings to my stay. The hotel staffers were great cooperation, great dining and bar services. Multiple diners providing a variety. Prices accommodation.

Right from the start: I would have given this Hotel a four star until I got my room bill. I made the mistake and took advantage of the offered laundry service. For 14 t-shirts, 14 underwear, 14 pair of socks and 4 shorts (7 adults and 7 child) I was charged ONEHUNDREDANDTHIRTYFIVE US DOLLARS. NO NOT DRYCLEANING, JUST LAUNDRY. Besides that this is a really great hotel. The staff is excellent and goes the extra mile to make you comfortable. The pool is clean, you are right on the beach and close to downtown Bridgetown. Right across the road is a little shopping center with 4 or 5 restaurants and a good convenience store. You need that since the hotel eating facilities are a little pricey. I would like to mention and really recommend their staff at the activities desk. Pick up any flier and they can book you on any tour. The room cleaning is a little erratic and makes it a little difficult to plan your day. Any time between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and never at the same time. But they do come back if you are in and always do a great job. The bartenders are really good and even at crunch time give you as much attention as they can. I would like to recommend Keith who was excellent and never let anything slip, no matter how busy. Another thing that stands out is their excellent organization. There are always little conferences and meeting going on. We even had a graduation party from a local school during our stay but nothing ever disturbed the peace.

Overall it was a nice hotel but the service was extremely slow. Bartenders and waiters not attentive. It took 3 days for something we needed.

Great hotel & accommodations easily accessible to everything all the action main attractions and food.

Enjoyed my stay immensely and would do it again. Thanks for making my stay most memorable.

Beautiful pool and close to the beach. Great location with food court/plaza across the street

Started off a little iffy..when we arrived at 6pm our room still wasn't ready. When we did check in to our room, it must have been "the room" that no one stays in - we could not have been the first people to complain about it - it sounded like a waterfall feature in the wall...and the room was run-down. Rachel at the front desk was very efficient and helped switch us to another room, which was great! Compared to the first room, I though we were moved to a totally different hotel, much more like what I was expecting. The restaurants and pool bar was great. Although service tends to be slow in the Caribbean, Ingrid at the pool was on top of her stuff and gave us fabulous service all afternoon.

First off, I would like to thank the management of the Accra Beach Hotel for making our stay such an enjoyable and magical one. My wife and I brought our 2 year old son back down to Accra and we also brought along another couple with their 1 year old daughter. Check-in was a breeze and we were greeting with ice cold rum punches. We stayed in an Oceanfront Room which was nothing less than AMAZING. The view from the room was breathtaking and we enjoyed relaxing on the wrap around balcony. The service at the bars and restaurants were top notch and the food and drinks were delicious. Our last night there, the chef cooked fish for us that we caught on a private fishing charter and it literally melted in your mouth. Sarah our water took great care of us at the CocoPatch Restaurant and made us feel at home. The kids enjoyed the pool and beach which might I add were extremely clean. This was our second stay at Accra in less than a year and we are already looking to plan another trip within the next few months. From what it seems, each time we visit, our experience gets better and better. Once again, to the Staff of Accra, THANK YOU FOR AN AMAZING TRIP! -Luis Araujo and Blair Fenty Dawson

Beautiful resort! Definitely upgrade to a pool view. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Location is convenient. Rooms are comfortable and very clean.

Our room was old. Very dimly lit. I understand that some of the rooms have been updated, ours was not. The great thing about Acura, was the pool. Also, It is right on the beach and you could go from beach to pool very easily. That part was really nice. Food is very expensive.

The hotel was in the perfect location for us. We could walk to restaurants. Catch a bus or taxi right in front of the hotel. The beach was great for playing in waves with soft sand. We loved having the breakfast included fresh eggs and fruit every day.

Trip was great, we had a nice time! Great location from food and activities! Staff was nice. We only had one issue, My friend and I visited Barbados because one of our roommates from college lives out there, on one night we all went out and brought her back to our room because we did not want her to drive home after drinking, the hotel security was very rude and gave us a hard time, demanded her ID and took about 10 minutes to let her come in. Other than this incident, everything else was great. I would return!

THE WIFI was slow all over the resort ...... check in was at 3 pm room was not ready till 7 pm would never wanna stay here again

My stay was fabulous. We enjoyed the stay and were very pleased with the hotel. My daughter was also very pleased with the trip. It was our family vacation.

Great experience! Lovely stay, will definitely visit again.

I stayed during presidents' week in Feb. The location of this hotel is great. It is close to restaurants and shopping. I had no problem getting beach chairs or umbrellas. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had an island view which wasn't so bad but if I had to do it again, it would be worth spending the extra money for ocean front. The water is wavy by the beach at the hotel. It was fun to swim in but in general I prefer calmer water and water you can snorkel in. You can walk to other beaches where you can snorkel. I loved that the boardwalk was right there so it was easy to walk to the next beach over. The pool is also nice. One complaint is that check in took a long time. Although, check in is at 3pm, we couldn't get into our room until after 4pm.
