Unico Express @ Sukhumvit - Bangkok

3.0 out of 5.0

The hotel is close to Bumrungrad Hospital. The location shown on the map is incorrect. It is on the band of the river, not near to the Avenue.

This hotel will suffice if you plan to be out all day. A/C, free Wi-Fi, 10-15 minute walk to Bangkok SkyTrain Nana Stop, and about 20 minute walk/50 Baht taxi (~1.5 usd) to the nearest airport line stop.

The hotel is run well and the staff are nice. been there several times and though it is on the seedier part of town NEVER had we had any issue with anyone. taxi stand outside and 24r security

Hotel Central LOCATION IS GOOD ,BUT I WOULD NOT SEND MY WORST ENEMY TO THIS LOCATION

Not English speaking staff and rude...i waited 45 mins. for the room to be ready even was long time ago after check in time

If you want a budget hotel..this place is good, but I would spend the money and stay at the Baiyoke Sky Hotel

The staff were generally indifferent, but the bellman was very helpful and friendly. The room was of adequate size, and the bedsheets were clean, but there was mildew on the ceiling above the bed, and the AC had only one setting - HIGH. It got down to 19C in my room. If you like middle eastern food and items, this is a good location, but if you want ethnic variety, you won't find it along Sukhamvit 3 Soi Nana Nuea.

First night they put me in an inadequate room (1201). Too small, smells moldy, borken TV, no hot water in the sink, no key for the room. I think the room is not intended for guest. Next morning I complained to service desk and they moved me to a nicer room at another level. Except for that guy who checked me in the first night, all staff were nice. Glad I complained ;-)

-4 minute walk to Bumrungrad Hospital -clean, modest, comfortable room, w/ refrig (no microwave), wifi

Staff spoke very poor English. Food good at restaurant, it better be because there's nothing else close by. Rooms clean but just OK

This hotel has several categories, but if you book the Economy room, it can be described as DISGUSTING. I know because I saw it first hand and could not believe they even show such a room. After complaining to a uncaring front desk, I was given a Standard Room, which can also be described in one word..HORRIBLE. unfortunatly, Nothing positive can be said about this hotel, from the rooms, staff, location etc. etc. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say - JUST KEEP AWAY... I am in BKK at least 5 or 6 times a year, and this was the worse I have ever been in. The Pictures of the lobby area are nice and this is the bait that pulls you in.

Great lobby, current very up to date but it all ends at the elevator! Rooms with good beds (for Thailand) and really good bathroom. But furniture needed replacement badly. Windows were either so dirty or also in need of replacement.

Clean, fairly quiet, decent deal for the price.

A super value for Bangkok.
