Good location, walking distances to Platinum Mall, Paladium, BTS, MRT, Siam Paragon, Central World. A very strategic location. The facilities is adequate. Room quality is great. Powerful new aircond. Friendly staff. We will definitely comeback next year. Highly recommended to anyone who love to save on hotel but preferred comfort.
I have stayed here a couple of different times for a few nights and the rooms while a bit small are clean and comfortable. There is tea and coffee making in the rooms The hotel is walking distance to the Indra Square and Pratunam market area which is great for shopping, particularly clothing. Its also an easy 5 minute walk to the Airport link sky train station The staff are very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast is OK. Its advisable to book via a web site like Agoda or Booking dot com as they offer much better rates than the walk in rates at the hotel reception If you book that way its good value, otherwise I would say its just above average for the walk in price I was charged recently
Close to airport link station, a clean and comfortable hotel. Great location, Central world, Sealife aquarium are very close by. Lot of restaurants including the indian ones nearby. Breakfast provided was very monotonous
I stayed in this hotel from 7-11 Dec. It's good budget hotel near central world. Hotel is very clean and staff is friendly. Only thing which I didn't like is same menu breakfast everyday. Hot and cold water facility is also available.
It is a basic hotel useful if you have to get the Airlink. Location is literally 3 minutes walking from the Airlink station that brings you to the airport,. and there is an elevator, so no problem if you have heavy luggages with you. Plenty of shops and street food around. Carpet and room a little bit smelly. Breakfast basic too, but the guy who served it was very nice. I love croissants and jam and as there were plenty of them, even if mini, I really enjoyed it. There is also a good self service coffee machine that grinds instantly the coffee and pours a decent coffee. In the room, the air conditioner was too strong and noisy, and aimed directly at the bed. Beds mattresses were a little bit hard. Nice bathroom, even if a little bit weird. The main negative point is that when I asked the receptionist to print my boarding card from the office pc, she said it was not possible and suggested to go to an Internet cafe. Considering that outside there were 38 degrees this was not a very helpful attitude and not the best option, I didn't have this kind of problem in other hotels. Pity, because the staff was nice, but this thing surely would refrain me to come back.
Pros *Friendly staff and helpful with any enquiry *Great location, just around 5 minutes walk to pratunam market and shopping malls Right outside have many massages places and restaurant *Room is big Cons *The room have a weird smell, might be due to the water smell at the washroom *our toilet couldn't flush well *The TV on itself in the middle of the night even though the remote is at the table, but they change the TV already after we check out with a brand new ones *The location is a little hard to find for grabcar and taxi, always remember the big yellow sign board by the restaurant next to it Tips: *We stayed at highest floor so it was quite quiet *The 7 eleven at the end of the road nearest to the hotel doesn't restock often, the one in the middle have quite many stuff and the 7 eleven furthest away have most! *Always use grabcar/grabtaxi/uber to travel around as tuk tuk price is outrageous (Price to MBK/Siam paragon is only around 50-80 baht for 4, chatuchak market is around 80-120baht)
We were there during 2016 Sonkran Festival (April 13-17). The reason of staying was that my girlfriend had an appointment with a surgeon and it was more convenient to stay close to the hospital. Just a few meters from the main road, the room is large for its price. Don't worry about where to eat because there are varieties of restaurant around that area. CentralWorld and other department stores are within walking distance (about 15 minutes to CTW). The hotel can be easily accessed from SRT station. It is only 5 mins walk or less from ratchaprarop stn. (in case you take SRT directly from Suvannabhumi Airport.) When we first arrived, we expected the staff at the reception desk to smile, but she greeted us with a glance and then looked away, not even a welcoming word we heard. So I just told her that we wanted to check in, showing the booking code, then her face changed almost immediately. (Not sure if it was because she was expecting foreign guests or not). We stayed on the fourth floor (the corner room). The room is really spacious with extravagant feel. There are some parking spaces and it's totally free for guests, unfortunately the space is limited, so you might need to check with the staff if you plan to rent a car and park there. We called the hotel to book a space in advance, otherwise we would have to park on the roadside. Nevertheless, they have security guy 24/7 even though the one we met looked a little sloppy. Entering the hotel, you need to tell the staff at the reception because they always keep the door locked (for a good reason). However, we sometimes found that this was not convenient as there were times that we returned to the hotel and there was nobody at the reception desk to open the door for us. So we had to wait. If it had been another time of the year, It would have been quieter. As I mentioned that we were there during SonKran festival. The whole road was fill with people and they put huge stage speaker set in front of the Soi. Music runs from midday to midnight. Honestly, we were annoyed but couldn't help since it was that time of the year. Aside from the noise and the first bad impression from a staff, everything was great.
Pro...Very near to Pratunam wholesales market, opposite Indra Regent Square but not busy like some hotel inside the Pratunam market. There are lots of Indian restaurants and Massage parlours. There are 3 shops of 7-11 around the hotel and Seafood restaurant. The room are cleaned but the corner room is a bit smaller than other rooms.Every room have a small balcony and the bath room is quite spacious. The reception staffs are very helpful. Cons... The shower water pressure is a bit low, hardly to get perfect water temperature.Breakfast is nearly the same every day only boil rice change a bit.
Pros - Within walking distance to the Pratunam Day and Night Markets and also within a 10 minute walk to Platinum Mall, so pretty convenient all in all. Numerous Foot and Thai Massage joints from the main road all the way down to the side street that Tango is on, beware of the one massage joint directly across from the hotel, its seems to cater to men seeking other services, definitely not family friendly. There are 3 7-11's along the side street and numerous night hawkers plying the roads from the evening onwards. Try the Beef Noodle stall for a late night supper 70Bht and really hearty - from Tango turn left down the road and continue walking for about 8mins, past 2 7-11's (one on your right then another on your left), after the 2nd 7-11, you shd be almost upon a small intersection. The noodle stall is in front of the intersection on your right, directly opposite Ramada Hotel. Cons - Hotel showers are pretty weak in terms of water pressure and its near impossible to get a decent shower with the water running either super hot or cold and nothing much in between.
This was second times I stay in this hotel. Compare to last time stay, it's no improvement at all compare to past but feel like getting worse. First was the hotel shower water like past still very slow, water not consistently and hard to control the heat temperature. The bathroom not really clean even cleaner clean it everyday. Secondly was the hotel breakfast, it's worse. Everyday foods were same, not more choices compare to past. After took it after 2 days, you will feel boring and no appetite to have it also you will feel vomit when you see the same foods. Hotel management need to seriously and improve for its.
