Great location! Unfortunately, there was a major cockroach problem when I stayed ther, freaked me out!
Stayed here based on reviews. Have stayed in many places in Bangkok and this was by far the worst. Dirty, worn out furnishings, tiny room, rude receptionist who gave me a 4-hour internet password, sprung mattress, cigarette burn on sheet, noisy, no elevator - just an awful place.
This is a very basic hotel with a great location if you want to go out in the backpacker area. The room was tiny with just enough space for a bed but it had air conditioning and its own bathroom (wet room format). Free breakfast, access to a safety deposit box and plenty of restaurants, bars, convenience stores make it a good home base in Bangkok. Note that this hotel is in a back alley off the main Khaosan road which helps a lot with the noise. If you come in at night when Khaosan is closed to traffic, you'll have a bit of a hike through big crowds to get to the hotel.
