I think if you only spent one night here you might get the wrong impression of the place. I stayed here for four nights and it really grew on me. Breakfast is perfectly fine, lovely view from the balcony. The rooms are huge, it is very clean and staff are very friendly. There are lots of local restaurants close by and several really good ones a short taxi ride away. There is a Foodland supermarket about ten minutes walk with a large selection of local ingredients. I would certainly stay here again. If you want to be near the city centre then it is not very convenient, but I was there on business so it was ideal.

You will need a taxi to enter and leave these lovely apartments. I would stay here if I had to do business in the area. lovely room, and view of the river. Breakfast was just ok, comfortable beds, had everything in the room except dish washing liquid and a dish clothe. The hotel (Serviced apartments) were nice, but the areas that I assume are controlled by a residential Body is poorly maintains, The Tennis courts are not open, the children playground a health hazard and the pool, although the water was clear, the surrounds were very dirty, especially, the outdoor shower heads at the pool. The paving needs a good clean with a high pressure hose or similar

Nothing is really wrong with this hotel/serviced apartment, but nothing is really great about it either. The place is far from city center and there are a lot of tourists that come to the hotel. Most of the tourist squeeze into the very slow elevators all at once without any manners (not the hotels fault for the rude tourists, but they should get bigger elevators). I booked a two bedroom and the room was spacious. it came with two king beds and two pillows on each bed. When i called and asked for 3 extra pillows, they said that the limit was two. I've never had a hotel put a limit on comfort before. I mean its just extra pillows, and the king bed only had 2 queen size pillows on each bed! That left a sour taste in my mouth. As other reviewers noted, the room is dated, but livable. The tub had a problem with the stopper and they had a plumber use a toilet plunger and unplug it. It was gross but i'm sure it happens when we don't see it. Wifi is super slow here and limited to two devices. There are other nice hotels in Thailand that are cheap, dont waste your vacation staying in this one.

Overall fairly OK experience, but a considerable number of small and not so small drawbacks. The place is rather tired, with wear and tear affecting almost everything in the room. Rooms are spacious, quite well equipped with kitchen area. These high-rise buildings attract lots of pigeons, and the small inaccessible balconies where the air conditioning compressors are located were covered in a thick layer of guano and what looked the remnants of a long-dead bird. Could be unsettling for the sensitive spirit.

Pros first: 1) its very affordable. we rented the twin room apartment which had a large sitting/area, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a/c in every room. the bathrooms had towels and all amenities. 2) they do have room service, but the time is fixed. We were late one night and we are vegetarians. When I told them my plight they were kind enough to send veg fried rice for us. Thanks so much 3) The sheets/ towels were clean. No bad smell, good view from our balcony 4) we got 2 bottles of complimentary water and tea/coffee sachets. 5) they do have a free shuttle service to 3 points in the city. If you can arrange your travel times with their shuttle times you might save some time/money in travelling 6) Staff is kind and polite. 7) Most important point: Do check the mall SV city. Goto the basement, we went on friday morning and there was a flea market going on. I got better deal and stuff in that tiny place than in the famous MBK mall. Also don't hesitate in trying the food court. It looks shabby, but they make most of the food fresh in front of you. I had the most amazing veg fried rice for 30 baht. My son had shrimp fried rice and on his request they made it without chilli and he loved it. COns 1) very far from all major attractions. we had a hard time haggling with taxi people. I paid 300 baht for wat arun, and 380 baht to airport. I blame the bangkok traffic which causes all taxi drivers to give something to complain about. We couldn't catch the hotel shuttle (we were running late) and had to travel on our own. 2) Its not a hotel, so remember before requesting extra water, towel etc. 3) No place to see nearby except the SV mall

It was weekend getaway with the family and we were very pleased with our stay at the Riverfront Residence. The apartment is spacious (even for 5pax), tidy, clean and full of natural lighting. The staff are professional and competent. Will definitely be back again the next time I visit Bangkok!

Riverfront Residence in SV City complex is a grand affair. We were in a 2 Bedroom Deluxe Apartment - perhaps the best option in the Residence. Its a huge 2BHK flat of 1000sq.ft with separate dining, kitchen and living spaces. Both rooms have great views of River,Rama III bridge and the surroundings. The views get even better after sundown - as the city gets lighted. Of the 2 rooms - one is bit smaller.Beds comfortable. Centrally AC with controls. 2 Toilets - one is attached and the other in common space. Nice shower. Its huge you can say. Maybe the decor of the interior could have been more better. Very ideal for families and friends with 4-5 adults and children. Reception very cordial and friendly. They guide you in going to different places of Bangkok. If you need a Cab/Taxi to go around - simply tell the reception and your taxi reaches in few minutes. For Public Transportation - Wat Dan BRT is a minutes walk - which will connect you to BTS. I find everything great in this Apartment - only the WIFI is not that strong. If you want to avoid the crowd of Bangkok and want to have great views of the River - this is certainly the place. But if you are more keen on marketing and nightlife - you have to travel distance to get the same from this area. I simply loved the stay and will return.

Really professional, happy and welcoming stuff, specially Pim and Fang receptionists. Big rooms with living room, bedroom, good wc and also dress room! Bar waitresses very nice and Cleaning services very good and respectful. I really recommend.

The staff was very friendly, it is the best point. But the location is very badly, this hotel is very far from all. Used taxi is very hard 50% dont want open their taxi-meter, often they want negociate the price. And when you want go back to the hotel from tourist places, they dont want (before hotel to far) or they negociate high price (300 to 500 baths). My advice, take the BTR (bus) station Wat Dam (just near the hotel) and after the BTS (subway) Sathorn station to Chong nonsi (BTR to BTS = bus to msubway) easy and cheaper. From the room, the river view on Chao Phraya is very short, I was very very disappointed. Finally , I would not recommend this hotel to solo travelers

Good value for money hotel ! The ambiance and view from rooms are great if you face the bridge side. Breakfast and Dinner do not have too many options. So it will be great to use it for cheap stay only.
