DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! My booking was for two nights. I arrived in the area by Taxi at 9;45pm. The SatNav let me directly to The Grand Hotel, which is nowhere near there Pinnacle. After scanning the area for this hotel for over two hours and asking numerous people as to its location, I gave up looking and was forced to check into another hotel, at great expense. Even the Police couldn't tell me, despite my giving them the address in Thai Language. The next morning, I eventually located the hotel and understood completely why I wasn't able to locate it the previous evening...It basically had two "Post it" sized Name stickers on it's front door, and little else to indicate its existence. Totally undetectable in such a busy backstreet area at night. The next morning, I explained to the manageress the reason for my "No Show" and was met with total hostility, ignorance and outright rudeness. She insisted I pay for the previous evening, but her attitude was so unprofessional, I wasn't going to remain in the building and decided to check into another hotel instead. I never ever complain about anything, however I am disgusted by the manageress' attitude and felt I needed to share my experience with you guys.
Worst hotel i ever stayed, sooooo cheap that i dont have words to say. so smell & small rooms like a snake hole and area is also so bad, i will never suggest any one sply families to stay at this hotel.
Very dingy old fashioned place in desperate need of a refurb. Very unfriendly unhelpful staff. Rooms were filthy and the beds were extreme uncomfortable. It is in a good location and would suit travellers on a tight budget.
I stayed this Hotel in 2 nights. The room is too dark and old, the towel is too dirty and impure, Water isn't hot and bathtub with crust. The reception with vexatious face and didn't care answer my questions. This hotel's near Nana BTS and suitable for Muslim because have many Halal Restaurant
Stopped at Pinnacle because every where else at cheap price full. Ok for 1 or 2 nights if you don't mind roughing it, room old & outdated. Don't expect anything above budget, Paid extra for upgrade on top floor, views of city fantastic especially at night. It's in the middle of Arabic area, got some funny looks being white English, but no problem. Nana area 3 mins walk, sky train 2 min, great. Would i stay again?? Yes, if Nana area hotels full.
The worst hotel ever. Torn carpets, wardrobe with holes, peeling paint, rusted fridge, tiny outdated tv with on Thai channels. Felt like a dirty cheap hostel with a rude Thai Manager. Only one receptionist Abdullah was polite.
I went there with very mixed feelings after reading previous reviews. And I must say I was very positively surprised. My room on 8th floor was nice and clean, quiet and had a comfortable bed. I really enjoyed my 3 nights stay. The room is equipped with fridge, TV, aircon, hot water and free (and good) wifi. Well the receptionists could barely speak a word of english and I couldn't trust the carpet or shower courtain, but still very good value place.
Torn blue carpet w/stains. Painted concrete walls: peeling & cracked. Rust stains in tub. Lumpy bed. Stained bed sheets. A recording of a squeaky brass horn brays outside your window beckoning Muslims to prayer. Turbaned Africans and Arabs on the one sofa of the lobby. You have to be high on heroin to justify rating this dirty tenement 3 and a half stars. To sum up this place: bring sanitizing handi-wipes. I don't want to stand in the tub in my bare feet nor do I want to sit on the toilet. This place reeks of goat stew. No refrigerator. Weak A/C.
I stayed for few hours on my transit to India from Cambodia. I reached Bangkok at afternoon and left same day midnight .So booked this hotel as it was cheap. It is located in a lane surrounded by many shops and Indian and Arabian Restaurants. Walking distance from Nana Station. Reception area is not impressive . Rooms and toilet were clean. It looked to me this hotel was quite luxurious but no renovation for years has put the hotel in very bad shaped.Rooms looked shabby and worn out. The carpets were really in bad shape. Towels bedsheet were all clean and spotless. Safety box was provided at room . AC function welled. There were many Arabic Restaurant around , Swarma Rolls from those Places were excellent. Backside of the hotel had a super market opened 24 hours. Foods at the restaurant inside the super market tasted Good.
I had to carry my own baggage to the room, while checking in the receptionist just gave me room key and two bottles of water, thereafter I didn't get any service except the free wifi. However, it's in a very good location, BTS is in walking distance and restaurants are all around. Good and cheap for those who are travelling single.
