We needed a hotel near the main station so we chose this baed on the location and the price. We were pleasantly surprised. It's very close to the station - right across the road/river actually so you can't do better. The rooms are clean and nice, there is cheap beer tin the fridge and to be hones there is not much to complain about. It's a old hotel and it's not flash but the staff are extremely nice and helpful and it's very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was part of our deal and that was pretty good too. It's not luxury accomodation but it's nice and I'd stay here again particularly if proximity to the station is important.
This is like a 70's hotel with old room furnitures but clean and with fridge provided and also complimentary instant coffee pack. complimentary Breakfast served is acceptable. MRT station is just opposite. The hotel surrounding is safe. Local food restaurant is nearby. Hotel room have a small balcony but very hot, suitable for drying our wash clothes. Grab car is cheap so not a problem to moving around since the room rate is good value.
We liked this hotel. Our room was clean and simple, and had good furniture including a fridge and air conditioning. We had a lovely view from the balcony of our room, see the pictures! The bathroom was a bit basic and not in the best condition but not terrible. Good breakfast buffet (very Asian though, don’t expect European fare!) and nice staff. Happy overall!
Nice, clean and comfortable room. Good air con and fridge in the room. The decorations were outdated, but that doesn't matter to me. Great breakfast included with many options. The location was right across from the main train station and metro station and a short walk to Chinatown! Friendly staff, would stay again.
This is an old traditional Thai hotel near the center of Bangkok. The rooms are basic but adequate. Breakfast is included and there is a small (4 car) garage, which is a rare bonus at this price point if you are in your own car in BKK. In-room fridge stocked with 2 local beers, 2 cokes and 2 other fizzy drinks. The beers are 40 Baht each.
Hotel is very close to the main railway station and metro. Room was dated and basic but perfectly clean. Breakfast was ok. Satisfactory for an overnight stay before catching a train the next but wouldn't wanted to have stayed longer
Conveniently located for the train station and Chinatown. Room was large and comfortable. Large fridge, great air conditioning and superb restaurant attached to the hotel where breakfast is served but also other meals and drinks can be brought throughout the day, will definitely be going back.
This hotel is directly in front of Hua Lamphong train station. No need to get a taxi from Suvarnabhumi airport. It’s literally walk across water canal and hotel is in front of station. It’s so nice after a 20+ hour flight not having to sit in a cab through Bangkok’s traffic. This place is nothing fancy. No toiletries, no frills. Just a bed, a private small bathroom ( with hot water and good water pressure) and good cold ac and strong WiFi. My room was 715. Room view was of canal and train station. Plus it also include breakfast daily. Nothing fancy but it’s food to get you started. Check in was fast. The staff wanted to help me with information on how to get anywhere. I felt safe. I am a female traveling alone. There’s a nice bar around the corner of hotel. 2 min walk. Chinatown was a 10 min walk from hotel. Lots of good food!! Street food vendors are the best. It’s cheap and delicious.
The hotel is situated across the river from Lamphong railway station. Check in was smooth, the attached restaurant was great, food was wonderful. Breakfast was also served here which was good. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. AC worked a treat and the wifi was superb. Rooms were basic but clean. We were staying on a high floor, the balcony was small and the wall not too high.
I have stayed at Krung Kasem Sri Krung hotel twice the hotel is in a fantastic location next to the train station close to Chinatown. Rooms are classic simple and clean but the beds aren't very comfortable. I found on both stays the front desk staff quite rude and a little aggressive which really disappointed me. I don't think the hotel is worth the price, breakfast is average at best. Not the worst place to stay but by far not the best.
